The gym is clean and there are many machines to workout with. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Extremely helpful. I truly enjoy this location. I wish they had a Milton or Pace location. The black card is a very good deal considering you pay a large amount of money elsewhere and get less.

I went here to workout with my roommate and put my stuff in a locker alongside his stuff. After our workout, we returned and discovered that his lock had been cut by a Planet Fitness employee because someone left their keys in our locker. Not only did we not see anyone’s keys in there when we arrived, they also LEFT OUR STUFF IN AN UNLOCKED LOCKER.Someone could have stolen our phones or his wallet and keys because Planet Fitness cut his lock during our workout. At the very least, they could have held our stuff at the front desk to make sure nobody stole anything.

I am impressed with the manager taking part in keeping the place clean. The staff is very friendly. Keep up the good work.

Going to this gym is always great just wish they had new equipment or more variety of different equipment. The employees there are awesome very friendly is very friendly willing to help.

Friendly! Clean! For people who are shorter the machines are very adjustable however I have had times where I need to adjust more than the machine allowed. - there is a free weight section to fill in for that. They also have qr codes on machines that will take you to a video of how to use it, if you are new.

Its VERY clean. I see everyone wiping down the equipment that they use -- every time--with this scary virus going around, this is VERY important to us all. Equipment is in good working condition. A wide selection of equipment to choose from. I love the extended hours available to get your workout in a convenient time for me (Covid has taken a bit of a bite in that respect--BUT they are working to have it open 24/7 soon.) TVs have a goodly selection of channels to choose from. My only complaint is that not all of the TVs are working--so you have to LOOK for a TV thats on. Staff is friendly and pleasant.

Lets start by saying that if the color scheme was not so garish - purple and yellow - I would have given an extra star. Seriously. I know readers are probably rolling their eyes at this but you will understand as soon as you walk in ...Planet fitness is a basic gym i.e. no yoga, zumba or other group classes offered and for a reasonable price without an annual commitment: $23 a month (full amenities all locations and unlimited guest pass) or $10 a month (no amenities one location) at the time of theirs review (April 2021). There is a one time admin fee of $39 that is assessed every June.Lots of cardio equipment: Treadmills, stair steppers and eliptical machines with TVs (controlling TVs is not intuitive; I have yet to figure it out). There is the main weight lifting area, a circuit training area, a stretching area, tanning beds (available with the $23 package and I have never used them or even walked into the room) two massage chairs and lockers rooms. My son said there is hydrotherapy available but I have never seen it. Oh, and free sessions with a trainer but I have not taken advantage of this amenity.We joined this gym at the tail end of COVID so social distancing measures are still in effect - masks required when walking between equipment, only every other cardio machine is available and only 2 people at a time in the training sessions and we tend to go later on the evening - 8 pm and have never experienced an large crowd. The Plant Fitness app does have a Crowd Meter feature to avoid crowds (or find them!).I tend to power walk on the treadmill, use the yoga balls in the stretching area and dabble in the machine and free weight area. They do not have a free standing bar for power lifting or kettle bells (medicine balls are available). I will use the training sessions eventually.Good basic gym for a good price. Not 5 stars because no classes, no pool and terrible cole scheme. 😆

One of the smaller types. Great staff, clean its the closest to my hotel but I do prefer the other one for size and a few different options in interior areas and equipment. But Id recommend it just the same

Did not mind the construction going on as the employee let us know as we walked in. A lot of nice clean equipment and hardly anyone in the gym on a Sunday morning. Equipment is spaced out nicely and they have two different leg press machines.

Good equipment selection, nice staff, plenty of room and spacing.

They do not clean their showers even after prompting multiple times. They are more worried about scanning you into the system after a long drive when you need to use the restroom rather than cleaning their facilities. Pretty sure this is why I went to the hospital with a staff infection.

I think this is a good PF but I wish they had the same machines as the Mobile highway PF! My biggest complaint is that it says on the door of the facility that they are open 24/7 and I come before I go to work! I get here at 430 on a Monday and they are closed and open at 5! Dont say that you are open 24/7 on the door but only opened 24 hours 3 days a week and not even on the weekends! I had to look it up online! There is no note on the door stating the hours!

I like to hit the gym before work in the morning, itd be nice if the gym was actually open 24/7 like they advertise. Ive been a member since September and never had any issues with pay until yesterday. On my way into the gym I get stopped by the manager, he informed me that apparently my December payment got skipped due to insufficient funds in my account. I was more than embarrassed...... I never got an email, a piece of regular mail, or better yet a notification on the app...... 1 star because of severely messing up my Saturday morning workout and not communicating with me about my missed payment properly. It was the holidays, I had no clue I missed it and would have happily paid it online or over the phone. Again, I was absolutely embarrassed being called out in front of everyone at the desk.Edit: the weekend morning crew also needs to do a better job making sure people wipe down their equipment.

Staff needs to ensure that clients are actually wiping equipment after they use it. And, given the pandemic, instructions showing HOW to wipe equipment is NEEDFUL. Having watched most people lightly spritz a small paper towel, and attempt to wipe things down as if there is just a spot or 2 to clean up is inadequate, even laughable. Perhaps, instead of most of the staff standing behind the desk appearing to do nothing but waiting for more people to come in, one should break away for an hour to observe whether clients are wiping things down adequately. If they do it at all. Last week I watched an older gentleman use 7, 8 machines and he never wiped anything down.

Great staff and clean facilities. Hopefully you can get machines fixed faster when out of order but other than that it’s Great workout atmosphere.

Watch out for this business. We cancelled when COVID lockdowns started, and they kept randomly billing us through August of 2020. Now Ive just discovered that they started billing us AGAIN in Jan of 2021, and have billed us for three months already. Consider yourself warned. Im taking it up with my bank right now.**UPDATE**They had some sort of software glitch that provided a loophole for them to approve refunds for several months (Jan-Feb-March of 2021). Apparently when they told us (during COVID lockdowns, when they were closed and we couldnt physically go in) that our membership was cancelled, they just put it on hold. The hold is typically for 3 months, but ours was for four. So I guess that allowed them to refund those recent months, but they wouldnt have otherwise. So Im adding a star because, while we were still charged more than we should have (Im pretty sure July and August, maybe June too) at least we got something back.

This gym is very clean as it has recently upgraded staff quality. I enjoy working out early in the morning when traffic is at an all time low.Other low traffic times are 7:30a to 9a and 12:30p to 2:15p most weekdays.

Everything is so clean!! Hardly ever over crowded.

The gym is pretty clean for the most part but it’s also incredibly small. The ratio of cardio machines to its size is a little off. There isn’t adequate room/space to stretch properly or anything that really aids in stretching. The weights are limited and some of the machines don’t work properly. There are also a lot of cardio machines that don’t work properly/safely (i.e a stair stepper that shakes & rocks back and forth). I signed up and ended up cancelling my membership within the same week. I’ve been to planet fitness before and understand the type of crowd it looks to cater to, but this gym really is the bare minimum. If you’re serious about working out I wouldn’t recommend.Planet fitness wants to claim to be a judgement free zone, but the few who are actually “training” get called out & judged. Make it make sense.

Planet fitness on Davis is the best location due to folks like Corey definitely recommend .

The people are always friendly and nice. There is always someone to welcome you thru the door. The only reason I am canceling is because I work and go to school full time and have very young kids so it has been a lot easier to workout at home.

Planet Fitness has made me a new man...if you need a gym to get back to life again go to your local Planet Fitness...no judgements, no intimidators, no dirt and just a good clean atmosphere...all my stress is worked out everytime I go to my Planet Fitness and coming out of the gym I feel like a new person every time...it works for me and I am loving life now...I live by the motto just do it...so if you just do it you may get a surprise you were not expecting (feeling good about yourself after working out at Planet Fitness)...the surprise can change your life now for the better...so get charged up for life and feel good about YOU...

Armando the manager is wonderful. He makes me feel so important and pampered as a guest. The facility is spotless and the staff is very friendly. I have, in fact, recommended this Planet fitness to several friends and family members.

Clean facility, functional machines, good prices. Only downside was fitness trainer. Initial fitness plan for my husband was not personalized at all, and core class didnt challenge anything. They were free, so maybe they arent designed to be that helpful.

Great place other than the mens bathromm was dirty. Same as the one on mobile highway. I dont understand how everything stays clean except the mens bathroom

This facility is very clean, has all the amenities I was looking for, and is comfortable and easy to work out in. I love the flexibility of being able to go to other Planet Fitness locations but will generally drive to this one regardless of whether its a little further away or not. Ive always had good experiences here.

My choice for daily workout and stretch

Clean, pleasant surroundings, friendly staff. My schedule is very tight so I really appreciate the 30 minute circuit area. Also love the aqua-massage. The locker room/dressing room is very nice and always clean. An experience I really look forward to.

They have so many machines and the staff always welcomes me and tells me to have a great day as I leave. It’s a great environments. The trainer is very nice and gave me a great routine to follow!

One of the best gyms Ive been to. This location has the chillest staff. They keep it professional at all times, are always helpful and always have the best attitudes. The amenities are the best: ability to bring in a plus one, massage chairs, plenty of equipment..thats the main thing because no one wants to wait for the person whos doing leg day on the leg press, etc. Plus I didnt realize when I signed up, but the extras like discounts on affiliated companies (e.g. athletic shoes, flowers for valentines day) one could truly get their moneys worth from this membership. This location is always clean and thank you for being open 24 hrs.!!! I work full time and go to school full time, so late night is my only chance at a work out. Just writing this review makes me realize why youre called Planet Fitness With a huge locker room full of personal lockers and showers, your everything a person needs under one roof. I would recommend Planet Fitness to ANYONE!!!

My first gym, and very happy it is. Employees are nice, facilities are clean, and its really a no judgment zone. It isnt really convenient to go is around 1pm due to a high volume of members, but any other time you can pretty much use any machine without waiting.

Planet fitness offers a lot for the monthly membership price. Even without free weights, they have many machines, treadmills and lots of free space for your workouts. Staff is friendly and its a very clean environment. They have lockers and showers and they also provide drinks at a low price for their members. The only reason why I dont have a membership anymore is because we moved and its no longer within distance. Overall great place! Beware of the lunk alarm 😂

Nice clean fitness center. Staff will work with you to design a program to fit you person needs and goals. To join is very reasonable. They give free tours of the fscility.

Place refuses to let me buy membership with cash, even though i was paying for years at a time. This should be a big red flag, they want access to your account so they can charge you with extra fees without you noticing or being able to stop it.

Im disabled, with Multiple Sclerosis & was just gifted a Black VIP membership. I was extremely nervous at 1st.. Thinking Id be judged or looked at differently, however, was greeted very warmly by Mallory. Furthermore, the Black card membership allows me to take one guest every time. So i get to take my caregiver/partner, as well as use the hydrobed massagers and tanning beds!

Its not a bad gym, they just dont have enough heavy weights. Their curl bars only go up to 60lbs, and their machines only to 120lbs.

I love this place... I run on average 3-5 miles a day in addition to moderate weight lifting and its the reason I have kept my sanity. after reading some of the reviews I know that maybe some more high profile athletes may be used to or expect better, but I joined last September and have never regretted it once. Staff is always kind, the building is always clean, and the other members are always professional. There are a couple strange ones that i have actually never seen do any actual work outs lol just walk around and look at themselves in the mirror but your going to have that anywhere. Overall this place has been my life saver while my wife and I have been in Pensacola.

I have been a member for about three months. The staff seem to congregate at the front desk and frequently allow paper towel machines to run out. They also allow equipment such as rowers and weight machines to deteriorate or malfunction with out corrective action. UPDATE 1/30/20 Here are a couple of examples of wear and tear on equipment. When I was a member of a downtown fitness facility, they would not let pads get that bad. Not sure what the deferred maintenance plan is, but the ripped pads can cut soft skin. I noticed over the past few days that several of the cleaning bottles were low on cleaning solution. Staff continue to spend the vast majority of their time behind the desk. One of the employees complained to me about the manager being weird. It thought that was a little unprofessional. I complained about the monitor malfunctioning on the left rower. I was told the fitness person would look at it, yet it still doesnt work properly. I row about 45 km a week in the gym, so I know the rowers well. Employees dont seem to care if it is working or not.

Customer service and first impressions are a big deal to me. The girls (Abby and Marissa) upfront were meh and not super helpful or friendly. They didnt smile at all and only gave one word answers with no explanations. And all I was asking for a one day pass. I had to ask a lot of questions that I feel shouldve been answered. And the biggest thing to me because I do sweat a lot while working out is that they didnt have a towel service. AT ALL. Not even for the showers. So, instead of getting showered and ready for my day before I left I had to come back to the hotel full of family and get ready here. Huge inconvenience for me and probably any other visitor.

Although some of the staff is friendly enough to want to help out the equipment they used to operate is not well maintained. Its very challenging to find a treadmill or an elliptical that actually has a functioning remote control despite staff being told that they will correct it.I hope they improve and if they do I would gladly go back to giving them five stars again

Just spent about two hours doing light cardio and abs. Been over 1000 days since I last walked through those doors. Atmosphere is as I remember it.

Dumbbells go up to 75 lbs. Machine are solid. Great cardio equipment. Friendly staff. Well worth the money.

The staff is kind of hit or miss on making you feel welcome if Im honest. A couple of them look at you like youre dumb if you need anything at the desk. The rest are awesome though! I do love that this location is always really clean. I always see the employees out wiping down equipment or cleaning up the locker rooms.
