Just called to get info on mulching blades for my john deere. I was inquiring about gator blades and if they had any experience with them. Joe really acted like I was crazy for asking about other than a JD product. Im sorry but the reviews on JD muching system are not good. Then I found out that its not the same company as it used to be. It seemed like the other owners were more friendly and helpful. Having owned two restaurants locally I have experience with dealing with customers and customer service and this was not a good showing. I didnt mean to bother you.

This is one of the worst dealerships I have ever been into. I came I last week to talk to service, the service manager was rude! On my way walking out I found the store manager and sales department sitting around laughing. Would not recommend this store to anyone until they hire new staff!

This place is all showroom for the new unsuspecting buyer and no follow through. I bought a lawn tractor from them a few years back. Recently I needed a back tire and asked for a replacement tire that was the same as my stock tire. I was significantly overcharged for the replacement and when I got it on the machine I noticed it was a completely different tread and a bit bigger in circumference. I asked to return it and they said their policy was they could not since it was installed. Even if that wrong part damages your machine? I asked. Management was no help. Stay away from this place, they have terrible customer service even for their loyal customers!

Been very helpful to me even as a young teen who started off mowing lawns. Never blew me off because I was young and insignificant. I now own two different businesses and continue to go back for parts and equipment because of how they treated me back then. I have had dealt with a few parts employees who were a little short with me recently but overall been very happy with my experiences here.

Went in to inquire about a replacement part for John Deere ride on mower I purchased from this location. The two guys in parts were incredibly rude and short with me right off the bat, pretending to not know what i was talking about. Ended up just walking out after a few minutes and going to Greenland on Manchester street where they were professional and actually seemed interested in helping me get the part I needed. We were seriously thinking of buying a new tractor this day from north country but the parts guys made it an easy decision to go elsewhere. I understand parts and sales are separate but the way those two deal with customers reflects poorly on the whole business in my opinion.

Worst service experience ever. Schedule an appointment for maintenance and an issue with 3pt hitchon my tractor, was told by Joe that there was a week to week and a half lead time. Two weeks later I get a call from Bob telling me what they thought could be wrong, maybe, and that jerky hydraulics are normal on my machine. Not only had the maintenance not been done but a 50% deposit would be required to find out for sure if there was a problem that they thought it could be, or maybe it could be as much as twice the estimated cost. After speaking with a real service department I neglected to have them do any work for fear of sub par work. So 2 1/2 weeks and $760 for a 400 hr service and hydraulic system flush. Ill be driving the extra hour for a professional service department in the future.

I’ve been here numerous times and like any large sales service and parts place it has its personality quirks. Sales is attentive professional and knows their stuff. Service is pretty honest not cheap but you always get what you pay for. Sometimes it’s way overbooked which unfortunately is why a local person would do business here (service) but if it is always slow, it is a detriment to sales and retaining customers . Parts in my personal experience is knowledgeable but can come off sometimes as somewhat bothered your interrupting them. Now these are opinions and although my experiences — some may have worse or better. I still give them 4 stars. I did purchase a tractor here and have always been treated with respect and feel like they are a good local business in Pembroke and I would always recommend them, as they are good at what they do.

Excellent prices and great selection on tractors. Great prices on parts and accessories as well. Excellent service in my experience.November 2017 I purchased a new 4052R with H180 Loader. My salesman, Marc Dupuis, was fantastic to deal with. He was knowledgeable, professional and above all, honest. No pushy/dishonest upsells or BS. He delivered my tractor personally and demonstrated its basic operations to this first time tractor buyer. Will be making any future tractor purchases here.

Parts department. Over the course of 6 months after moving into a farm nearby, Ive called parts on several occasions for help. 1st experience was normal, and what I would expected; went in an purchased the parts I inquired about over the phone. Second time I called they recommended I go to the JDparts website. 6 months later - I now realize this does their job for them aka looking up the machine, identifying parts/ JD part # and subsequently accesses store inventory.Long story short, when calling yesterday during lunch the service department transferred me three times to parts. On all occasions I received a voice-mail. Ill admit I didnt choose to leave a voice-mail as on the 3rd or 4th call I made to them (over the past 6 months) I did leave a message and never received a call back.Having said all this, although they are the closest to me I will not be doing any business with them and will be sure to alert other farmers of my poor experience, so they do not benefit from large machine sales, service and parts orders. Truly disappointed with the level of customer experience and lack of enthusiasm I received. Im sorry Im calling you and asking you to do your job, aka; talk to customers, discussing machines, parts, shipping and prices over the phone. As I write this I even recall being spoken to condescendingly when I was in-store picking up parts... Best of luck to you all.

Went in to have a tire repaired that was leaking slowly. Service was less then helpful. They appeared to not want my business. Lots of staff around but seemed like it was for nothing as none wanted to be bothered to help me with the tire. I purchased my John Deere from this dealer many years ago but it seems that once you buy they do not care about you. Service wanted $200 for a new tire that was not in stock. Tire plugs are only done on Tuesdays. Would not recommend for sales or service. Was thinking of buying a new John Deere....not from this place. Look elsewhere.

I went to get my hands on a 1025r. I did a test drive, and things went well. As I sat with the sales rep as he typed up a quote. A well groomed gentleman approached me and asked if I was buying today, I relied no. He then reached into a plastic bag, and removed a clear contianer that contianer contaminated oil. Apparently, he just bought a new 700 series tractor for 14 k..and he was upset over his compromised engine and was also complaining about a smokey engine. He was insisted enough in suggesting that I not buy from them at the Pembroke location. Yikes....what a mess. I cant believe a Deere employee didnt conduct a quality control inspection prior to delivery...not good boys

Do your homework before buying tires there! The terrible service I received after being sold the wrong tires resulted in me selling my JD tractor and I purchased a brand new Kubota Grand series L4060 with the proper tires. While at Chappell Tractor I also bought three new implements and a new Husqvarna lawn tractor! JD lost a BIG sale because of that lack of tire knowledge ....😓

In August 2017, I started checking various John Deere dealerships in and out of the area, both through the internet and in person, to see which one would offer the best deal on a tractor and attachments. I arrived at “North Country John Deere” on Route 106 in Pembroke, NH and met sales person “Marc Dupuis”, who I took an immediate liking to. After telling him what I was searching for, he went over all my options plus available discounts and came up with a fair price he did not believe I would beat at other dealers, but still encouraged me to look around. I did visit other dealerships and found that some had prices close, but none gave me the “feeling” I got with Marc at North Country.I did make a deal to purchase a 2038R Tractor equipped with 57” loader/bucket and a 72” mid mount mower, but unfortunately the mower deck needed to be ordered. After weeks of the dealership getting the “runaround” by the John Deere factory and the shipping date for my deck continually getting moved up, the collective efforts of my sales person “Marc”, the store manager “Kyle”, and the company’s owner “Bill Taranovich”, made it possible to get another dealer in Ohio (I live in NH) to release a 72” mower deck they had in stock. Finally the deck arrived at the dealer and I was given special attention and instructions by Marc and “Bob” (Service Department) as to the operation of the tractor, to include mounting and dismounting the attachments.Service and satisfaction even continued after the tractor setup was delivered to my home by “Jake”, who was very friendly, taking time to answer questions and providing more helpful information about my new tractor. When and if I had future questions and concerns, a simple call or email to my salesperson Marc, and my issues were addressed - This included a trip made to my home by their Service Technician “Eric” who came to make a necessary adjustment on the tractor and replace a part.Having read some negative reviews on line about the “Parts Department”, I thought I would include an experience I had with that department as well. It is clear this store does not have a receptionist and a call made to them might go to voice mail and you get a request to “Leave a message and your call will be returned” – Just leave a message and I’m sure someone WILL call you back! Or If you like, just contact the person or department you want via E-MAIL – That’s what I did. I sent an email to the parts department inquiring about an accessory part, whether they had it in stock or not, or if it could it be ordered and how much the cost would be. Almost immediately, I received a return e-mail from “Jon” (Parts Manager) who provided me with the information I needed and through email conversation, we agreed to have the part delivered to the store where I would pick it up at my leisure.Overall, I could not be happier with my purchase, but more important, I could not be happier with the service department, parts department, sales department, all the staff, including the owner “Bill Taranovich”, and especially with salesperson, Marc Dupuis. I believe Marc to be an honest, “standup guy” and it was because of my interaction with him, plus all his help and fairness that I decided on my John Deere tractor purchase. Since the day I agreed to the purchase and I am in the area, I do not hesitate to stop by and say hi, and I am always treated like family. I already have, and will continue to recommend and refer others to stop by North Country Tractor in Pembroke, NH if they are looking to purchase any John Deere products.
