Normally going to the dentist is a really nerve-racking experience for me. When I initially called to make the appointment for this office I knew this place would be worth going to. The woman I spoke to, I believe it was Denise, she was so nice and easy to talk to. When I arrived I felt so very welcomed. Everyone I interacted with was so very nice. Yulie is so good at her job and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Pena is great also. Those are just the names of everyone I can remember but Im pretty sure I met pretty much the entire staff. Everyone was so nice. My experience with this office was pleasant. Definitely recommend

I am a restaurant owner so I had to reschedule a few times which I know drove the ladies crazy!! I had a great experience with Dr. Barona and the whole office staff. Extremely clean, newest equipment. The staff is very welcoming, professional and friendly. I called today because I had a bad tooth pain. They had time for me. Amazing. No more pain. Dr. Barona saved my tooth. 😀😃.He explained everything he was doing as he went along. Told me what to expect. I have been a customer at this Dental Office for at least thirty years and today I had the worse experience with the office Manager Julie. Upon completion of having my teeth cleaned I went to pay, the office manager first did not address me and over charged me for the same service that was provided to my wife the day before. Upon questioning her about the charges she got rude and loud. Without any apology took it upon herself to tell me what I can and cant do. She insisted that I go back to the hygienist to take additional X-rays or I would not be allowed to make another appointment. She had no regards for my time or my patronage. I was a customer that visited this office quarterly paying my bill each time without delay and not thru insurance. This is upsetting so I followed up with other known customers and they all had similar experiences. With this kind office manager how long before the customer goes elsewhere. P.S I have not met the new dentist and will not without another appointment per Julie. She did start the shouting match and jumped out of her chair first and I simply responded to a rude individual. The hygienist Diane was exceptional in doing her job.There were plenty witnesses to my story if the owner would like to follow up!

As a walk-in, I was greeted with smiles and respect. Do you take my insurance I asked, I have Metlife? Yes, Karen said and got my information.Contact your insurance company and let them know that we will be your preferred dental office. That was a breeze and once this was done I called to make an appointment.A few days later I was in for my first appointment. How nice that less than 10 min I was in a chair and 10 min later they had all the photos they needed.Sir, you have this and that, are you having and pains? No, but I can tell that I better get in here to prevent any in the future. Well, I need a deep cleaning on the right and the left. Thats new but ok.For this visit, the cost is $570, and im responsible for $180 and the other side the same. Kind of high but everything has gone up and was ready to pay and move forward.Codes for these are D4341 2 times D4921 2 times as well. Altogether $1140. I was responsible to pay $360Three rut canal $4350, two at $1500, and one at $1350. I was told that my insurance does not cover this.After I left to ponder this 32 thousand dollar bill I decided to call Met Life. After reading off the codes for everything they said I was covered. My out-of-pocket cost should be around $650. Ok, together we tried to call them and here where it got concerning.I just left and the agent couldnt hear them so I told them I will try later. The next day I called and ask for Yulite, she not in but I can help you. After I explained myself the person got very upset and says your going to have to talk to the office manager. Wow, why was she so mad? Today I called again and left a message but no one had the courtesy to call me back. So now I will make the drive to the place I had before Gentle Dental and because I changed location I now have to wait till July. Im cool with that, I used them before and only went to Pembroke Pines because they were a stone throw away.Its started out with a smile and mutually respecting each other but I guess dont question the bill.

I Have had a few bad experiences with Dentist. The Pembroke Pines staff from the front desk to Dentist are amazing. They made me so comfortable. This office is Top Notch. I am so glad I was referred to them and will never hesitate again with a dental visit. Thank you Pembroke Pines Dental, you guys are the best.

WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE!!! Ive ever had. Ever since the new owners took over the office, it has been nothing but pain. I went in for a cleaning a couple months ago and ended up leaving with immense pain. I went back to have this pain checked and they did nothing but continue to worsen the situation. Dr. Peña does not know what she is doing and most likely caused me this pain to have me come back and keep on having money flowing out of my pocket into theirs. Be cautious when visiting this place as it is NOT the same it was before.

It’s always a pleasure going to Dr. Pena’s Office. It’s a very efficient and well organized practice. They get me the most convenient appointments and I never have to wait.Dr. Pena is so caring and professional, I feel super confident under her care. I’ve been coming with my family for a while and I refer to all my friends, who are very pleased with this jewel of our Broward community.

Avoid this place at all costs. Dr Kanowitz is no longer working there and Dr Peña (new doctor) lacks the experience or motive to do things right.

My experience at Pembroke Pines Dental has been excellent. I had to go a few times for different procedures and the result was always the same magnificent service. Dr. Pena and Dr. Ogando who is an endodontist are amazing, extremely professional and caring, and they have so much experience that you don’t even feel anything. The rest of the crew are great people as well they really make you feel like family. If you have any dental problems this is the place to go. I really recommend it and I always been scare of the dentist. But as I said they work so well that my experience every time has been wonderful.

I had a tooth in my mouth that had been bothering me for quite a while. I had been to other dentists and no one seem to know what was happening with my tooth.Dr Pena told me that my tooth was fine it just had a little crack because I was clenching my tooth and they did a nightguard for me and a week later my pain went away 😊😊😊. I am so happy thank you so much Dr Pena and the whole team I have found my Dentist for Life 😁

This place is a rip off, they say that they have a special for new patients, dont fall for it, I did, and had my husband go there and they didnt do any cleaning, its a lie, he left with two options, one for 30,000.00 and one for 50,000.00 thats it, but the cleaning they promise in their new patient little package is a big Lie.

HORRIBLE DENTIST! Now with the new owners, that’s right Dr Lev & Dr Kanowitz are NOT coming back they are retiring at the END MAY 2020 so when was I supposed to be notified? You can’t treat people unfairly and continue to sell under these doctors names that are no longer there since when any patients has paid for a re-cement? the new office Manager is very unprofessional arguing with patients to begging with, very rude and horrible attitude 👎 I HOPE all of the patients that were coming here for 40+ years find a new Dentist, I never leave reviews but this was the worse experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been Warned to come in after all the new staff at the front desk and had to experience myself I’m so aggravated with these people. I will never be returning or referring anyone!

HORRIBLE DENTIST! I never leave reviews but this was the worse experience I’ve ever had. I got a root canal done & STILL IN PAIN WEEKS LATER! Feel like I got NOTHING DONE! I’ve been trying to call for a follow up to get a fill in and they keep giving me the run around saying they will have someone call me back to schedule an appointment. They put a temporary fill in and it’s slowly breaking off (less than a month). I’m in so much pain and so aggravated with these people. I will never be returning or referring anyone!

As his patient for the past five years, I have needed fillings, crown lengthening, crowns, root canals, bridges, and tooth extractions. I have been a patient of Dr. Levs for 30 years. He is by far, the best dentist that I have ever been to. His staff is wonderful and are always available to help or answer any questions I may have. I also cannot say enough about his hygienist, Loree. I will not have anyone else clean my teeth. She is thorough and gentle. I have had severe dental problems and Dr. Lev has always found the best way to treat my problems while also taking into consideration the financial impact.Dr. Lev is also responsible for saving my life. Earlier this year, during anexamination he found a suspicious growth on the back of my tongue and advised me to see a doctor immediately. Because of his advice a severe medical condition involving blood clots in my jugular vein and growths on my thyroid were found and treated successfully. I will never go to any dentist but Dr. Lev.

I absolutely LOVE my dentist !! I am so glad that I met Julie in Publix and I asked her if she knew a good dentist. She said she works for Dr. Kanowitz and he is a great dentist. So I went to Dr. Kanowitz and he put my fears to rest and is so gentle and does phenomenal dentistry ! I never even felt the needle !! Dr. Kanowitz is the greatest and I am totally never leaving !! And Dr. Kanowitz staff are all so wonderful !! Once you have the BEST you dont need the rest !!

Very grateful to the clinic, they took care of my husband with the utmost dedication and with great professionalism. He had horrible pain in his crown due to an infection and when he left the clinic he did not have another complaint about it, which made me feel very confident for next treatments. Aside from doing impeccable work with your dental problem, you made us feel like a family, which I think is essential when it comes to dental problems, feeling confident is paramount! Thank you very much to all the staff, they were all very professional.
