Their rates are also very competitive and it is very easy to get a freight quote from them within 24 hours or less. The employees are not only nice, but they are always available to speak to you and they are always willing to go out of their way to help out with whatever is needed in order to get your cargo delivered as quickly as possible. I’ve been in the freight purchasing business for a number of years.And I’ve dealt with many 3PL’s over that time.I get many sales calls from 3PL representatives, (I like to joke that there are more 3PL’s than there are McDonald’s restaurants.)When I speak to a new rep, the one question I always ask is “what sets your company apart from all the other 3PL’s”?I never seem to get the answer I am looking for.The answer that I want to hear is WORK ETHIC.That’s the difference with TMS Transportation, they have the work ethic that I am looking for, it’s not something you can fake, either you have it or you do not.

Very bad 1st experience with their director paul. Load by apt, we were not informed about. He lied that that apt will be disregarded by the shipper. Called half an hour later, saying that 2 pallets are not ready. We were loaded after the apt. 5 hours wasted.Many messages to get their stuff off our trailer and just let us go were disregarded, meanwhile paul spoke about detention as if he was doing us a favor.I also remember reading several bad reviews here back then. And now these reviews are all gone and some good ones appeared. That speaks volumes of their honesty.A couple of months later paul called us with the same load. The nerve of this guy.......
