Repairs were as expected, on time and at a fair price. The owners go above and beyond to make sure that every experience is great. Would def recommend them to anyone needing not just lawn and garden but other equipment repaired. After they repaired my gravely while speaking to Robert about my pressure washer he basically diagnosed it in front of me from a conversation. Brought that in and had it back that week.
This place is great! Rob, Nina, Craig, Chris are all great, they were friendly and helpful and had patience with me and all questions I had. I went there to get my weed eater fixed, I was educated that it’s called a string trimmer by thier mechanic Jeff and he walked me through the entire process they used to fix it. I went there three times during the course of my repair, everytime they were attentive and friendly even though they were being inundated by customers, thier parking lot full of commercial lawn services . They told me when I dropped my machine off that it was gonna take 3 weeks to complete and they surprised me by being almost 12 days early, the price was more than fair, and my machine has run beautifully ever since, after hearing about the heritage of the business, and my own experience I will be using them from now on and every other homeowner I know I plan to recommend .
I hate to give a 2 star review but these people had my lawn mower for 4 months for a carb job. I picked it up and brought it home and used it. Within 1 minute the wheel fell off and the push assist mechanism stopped working. Took it back, they apologized and said they’d look into it. 2 months later they said they were going to start working on it that week… I called a week later and they said the mechanic that worked on it finished but was out on lunch.. I called back the following day snd they said the mechanic was going to start working on it which at that point I told them to stop I was going to pick it up. I initially paid $150 and after they didn’t fix my machine and gave it back more messed up than when it went in. Needless to say they kept the money, had my machine for a total of 6 months and now I’m going to drop it off at another local shop that can actually fix a basic lawn mower. The owners are nice and all but nice cost me 6 months and $150 plus having to pay a company to cut my grass for those 6 months.

This people is so honest and wont take advantage of your situation!!!!!!! I am so happy I brought my 10 year old gas weedeater to this shop. My weedeater would not start and it is very old and I am a women. They could have charge me for parts and replacements but not, all they did was to suggest me to use a good quality oil for the gas mix. I will be bringing in all my garden machines here.PS. 3 years ago there were other, not so friendly, people running this business.I am so happy they changed ownership.

Was looking for a place to repair my generator and came across Bitter Blue. Let my tell you the customer service was very friendly and amazing. Ive had my generator serviced at locations closer to me in the past, but never got good service. I was very impressed how quickly they had my generator up and running, in less than 5 hours, most places you gotta leave it there for a couple of days if not longer. Definitely worth the drive for me, and if you live in Broward, even better.
I brought in my old pressure washer as it would not start. I got a call a couple of days later telling me that the electronic fuel injection part on the old Subaru engine needed to be replaced but as Subaru quit making and supporting small engines a few years ago, this discontinued part was no longer available. I scoured the internet and also had no luck finding one. I was not looking forward to having to buy another pressure washer especially since this one still has a great Cat pump and a well built frame in good shape. They suggested I pick up a Predator engine at H.F. down the street. After doing a little research on the engine I felt that it would be fine. I bought the engine on sale for $99 and dropped it off on a Thursday morning. By the next Monday I got a call saying to come pick it up. They mounted the pump, put fresh oil in the new engine and also changed the oil in the pump and my pressure washer now runs like a champ. They charged for the oil, a small shop fee for disposal of the old oil, and 45 minutes of labor. Talk about fair! And to top it off, they were all super nice, good people!I’ve now got a go-to shop for any small engine issues and have already shared their name with a couple of neighbors and family. I wanted to update my review on my recent experience with Bitter Blue. The NEW owners Robert and his wife are going out of their way to position the company forward with the recent history. Robert knew when they finally reopened with one look, the previous owner repair was not correct. He fixed it perfectly and spent the time to ensure it was working. Repairing a business which impacted many is challenging, but Robert and his wife will bring the business back. I understand he once his family owned his and his personal mission is to bring it back to that status. Give them a chance, I was very happy and welcome to see an individual without excuses make things good. A real breath of fresh air .. Go back to them!
Awesome service and cheaper than I expected. Hit a metal pipe and bent the mowers blade up pretty bad. They repaired it within a day. Saved me from having to go purchase a new lawn mower.

This 3 decade family business is run by an proprietor that understands customer service. I observed several other customers enjoy friendly service, with many do it your self advise tips given away with engine parts sold. The two gals who work at Bitter Blue are easy on the eyes and could not be any more friendly / helpful when I settled up on my repair bill. My repair amounted to 27$ it included new parts for my pressure cleaner. The $ 20 evaluation charge was applied to my total bill, so I did quite well. Jeff the owner is like a friendly next door neighbor eager to assist and go above and beyond expected customer care. I have high standards in this area as a fellow business owner. The shop is highly capable as it is authorized service center for many manufacturers. I found other shops incapable of working on CAT pressure cleaners pumps. Lastly I understand Lowes and Home Depot both utilize Bitter Blue Lawn and Garden for manufacturer warranted repairs.

Bitter Blue is the worst place you can take your equipment to be repair. I took my lawnmower to be inspected by their techs on 7/7/2017 was told I would be contacted in a couple of days to inform me of repairs needed, to I was never contacted. I came into the shop on 7/13/2017 to inquire about my equipment and was told that I would be contacted latest by 7/17/2017. I never received a call from them. Today is 7/19/2017 I decided to come by and find out about my lawnmower, when I inquired about it no one knew any information, they didnt find the machine or the order receipt. When they finally found it, i was told that they had not checked it at all, they asked me to wait and they would get someone to do it right away. This is 12 days later after I made the biggest mistake to expect decent service from this shop. I will not recommend anyone to use this shop. Its not worth all the problems.I did get my refund of $ 25.00 invoice #. 414217
My ex-husband has taken our lawn mowers to Bitter Blue on several occasions over the 20 years that we have lived in Pembroke Pines. He has always been satisfied with their services. Recently I took my Hedge Trimmer to Bitter Blue to be repaired and also took 2 machetes to be sharpened. I was completely satisfied. In fact I observed that they sold machetes and told my girlfriend about the store. a few days later she went to the store and purchased her machete. You may wonder why 2 females have machetes, well we love coconut milk/water and the machete is the most efficient way to get to the inside. Hence our need for the tool.

WORK ORDER:141545Outstanding repair shop. They replaced my leaking gas tank on a pressure washer and explained that it would work for awhile but i needed the carburetor rebuilt. I took it home and finished my job. Right on schedule, it stopped working so I took it back for the carburetor repair. They preformed extra maintenance for which I was not charged extra. Overall I am very happy. Each turnaround time was about 3 days. All repairs were much less than buying a new comparable pressure washer. Thank you Bitter Blue.

I have always had excellent and friendly service. As said in another review I have also observed them giving friendly advise to both me and fellow customers. I have even seen them charge less then the minimum service fee on a weed eater cause it only had bad gas.

Work Order# 190176 - This is my 2nd time using them for a repair. Both times I was greeted in a courteous manner and the work performed was excellent. My repair was completed on time. The hose connection from the detergent holder to the pump on my pressure washer blew right off. When I took it in, I was told that they would try their best to repair my pressure washer because in the manner it broke off it looked like it would not be repairable. A week later I was told my repair would only be about $20! I couldnt believe it. I definitely was expecting a much higher repair cost. The store itself was a nice lawn store. Unfortunately service technician/owner does not want to help the regular lawn home owner they more inserted in helping the big lawn companies. I will not go there for any lawn equipment assistance.

I have used their service a few times before in the past, and the work has always been performed in an efficient and timely manner. Unfortunately on this current service I didnt receive a call-back for 10 days, and upon calling them myself I was told that the equipment had not yet been looked at. I waited a few more days and upon calling again was told that the manager would call me back. I didnt receive a call so I stopped at the store and spoke to the manager in person. He couldnt find any work order but did find my power washer in the store and assured me that he would have a mechanic look at it the next morning. Early the next morning they called and told me that they needed to order a part to do the repair. A few days later they called and informed me that the repair was completed. A total of 12 days from drop off to pick up, but to be fair, based upon my previous visits to this store, I would say that this was an anomaly. I will still use their services in the future, but had to downgrade their rating based upon this particular experience. Work order #253579.

I brought my riding mower for minor repair and when i got it returned a large cap on top of the engine was missing and oil was spilling out of it and started smoking when i began to use it. When I came back to the store they denied even touching the engine, although there is no other way the big piece of plastic covering the center of the engine could just go missing. They told me: Now the engine is broken ant it is going to cost you real money, as if $ 280.19 that I pay for adjusting drive system and new battery was no money. This is the worst place to bring your lawn mower for repair. After they take your money you are doomed. I hope this post save someone from a nightmare like mine.

Rip off artist!!!!!!! go some ware else, used to one of the best in the business. how times have change!!!! brought in my mower for a throttle cable. THEY decided to rebuild my carburetor and change the spark plug and blade. The spark plug and blade were new l had change them three months ago. THIEVES didnt even call me to authorized the extra work.

Brought weed eater in for a broken pull cord. They put a new cord in and after using it twice the rope pulled out. Brought it back and after a week I was told the engine didnt have enough compression and gave me the weed eater back in a box in parts. I took it to Palm Square 9865 Pines Blvd. They put in a new rope and showed me what caused the rope to pull out and took the part out and put in a manual choke. The weed eater runs great. I took it back to BItter Blue and showed them how it ran.They then said the ticket was written wrong....... Yea $50.for a new head plus labor. Some mistake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a new lawn mower from home depot it stopped running within a week so I took it back for warranty they sent it off somewhere and then returned it to me and said that it was not covered under warranty. I then took it to Bitter Blue and asked them what it would cost to repair, they looked at it and said it looked brand new I said it was and told them the story with home depot. They have a 20 dollar diagnostic fee so I agreed to have it looked at. They called me back and said that it had a defective camshaft and that should have been covered. Mark the owner gave me a letter from Bitter blue that I could take back to home depot so I did and with a bit of arguing with them they gave me a brand new machine, Bitter blue has the best service ever....Thank you.
