Just let me tell you, Karen in a God send! I found her at the right time and she has helped me so much to deal with my situation. I would recommend anyone who needs counseling to come see her. Office is extremely helpful and very kind. Dr. Wood does not accept my sons insurance at the moment but I would be willing to pay out of pocket. Kindness is priceless and that, to me, says a lot.

Wowwwww, 1 inviting personality on phone session then in person very demeaning, cutting & hurtful.....came away sader for her than my beautiful family, we were all present & just not a kind good person to deal with mental health patients. And like they say No worse furry than a psych seeing the glimpse of a mirror of themselves in the face of their all acknowledging patient. She did teach a few things & hopfully this message will do so for her & future patients.

I started seeing Karen in September 2013, my choice based primarily on these lines in her Psychology Today profile:  “I assist people in facing their life challenges with warmth and at times a touch of humor. I specialize in action-based problem-solving.”  I needed help with an issue a family member was having, and finding coping mechanisms for myself on how to deal.  I’ve always heard that if you don’t find the right therapist right away, keep looking.  From her welcoming office to her warm conversational style, I felt an immediate and strong connection with Karen and knew that was exactly where I needed to be.  She wasn’t afraid to ask the hard questions that allowed me to go deeper, integrating my life goals with inner peace.  Over the course of our three years together, I learned much about myself and my interpersonal relationships, and I am grateful to Karen for her guidance in my journey.

We came to Karen with some very serious issues. She is so effective in the way she approaches each issue. We have been seeing her for a little over a year and have seen positive results. I began my counseling sessions at Roswood Counseling apprehensive, but, I must say, in all aspects Karen was succinct and professional. She was an excellent listener and Therapist. My sessions were therapeutic and economic. I recommend Roswood counseling to friends and strangers and I will use Roswood Counseling, if needed, in the future!

Awful counselor. Went several weeks and got nothing out of it. She does not feel kids should be held accountable--blames the parents. My relationship with my kids is worse now than it was before I stepped into her office for help.
