Reception girl was very nice. But the communication is really not good. We went there and after waiting a while we’re told that my rental was sold. Why would the company post a vehicle available when is really not?. Specially a sold one? The girl was trying to help I know but if her superiors are not communicating what’s happening, what good does it do? They must have better handle of their inventory. I know things are hard with covid but your delays affect others. I’ve never had any issues with any other rental company’s until now. It was supposed to be a nice Weekend getaway 😩

Rented a mini van at this Budget and had a great experience. Dominique was very helpful and made our rental experience pleasant and smooth. Our mini van was in great condition. Would highly recommend.

I rented the car. Car was fine. Pickup was okay. No after-hours drop-off box though? Why would you coerce me to drive back up to hand a person the key? I wanted to leave the car and be done with it -- not make a special trip to see you the next day.

If I could give a lower star I absolutely would. You think that after you drop your one day rental car off early, your troubles would be over. But, you would be wrong. The employees at Budget in Pembroke Pines did not check my car in (or continued to rent it under my name) for an additional 4 days. Needless to say a 173$ One day rental turned in to multiple charges totally over $1,000. Oh and this has been over a month since I first reported it and still dealing with it. Calling the store proved to be pointless as well as the worker called me a liar and that I kept it longer and I needed to prove to him that I turned it in on my reservation date. I asked if they have cameras to show, he said no and I asked for call logs because they called me that day asking what time I was dropping it off. He then tells me he will call me back, 2 weeks later...nothing. They are an embarrassment DONT RENT FROM THEM!!!

This is the worst location. I booked a SUV for my family trip and the day before they called me and said sorry car not available. They were Very rude and unprofessional. I tried to call and speak to a manager and the staff would laugh and hang up the phone. What kind of customer service does this company provide? Very disrespectfull!!! Budget Pembroke pines is the worst. I booked a SUV a couple weeks ago and the day before our vacation, they cancel and say its unavailable. The guy wouldnt give me his name and laughed on the phone. Then he hung up on me. This an absolute joke.

We confirmed and scheduled our rental 2 weeks before . The night before our pickup I was told they didnt have our vehicle. Then we were given a van instead. Also we turned it a day earlier and we had to pay the same price. We didnt like the service at all. Although the man was polite, the experience was not good at all.

I have been renting at the Pembroke Pines location for over 5 years and I can testify that my experience with Jesus and his team is always excellent. There are times they particularly do not have the car specific I reserved but always accommodates. Highly recommended, staff is fabulous, never disappoints.

Don’t bother making a reservation well in advance, they will only let you know once you arrive that they have no cars. What’s the point of making a reservation then?! Also, the counter guy Gary was terrible!!!! Super rude, and not helpful in the least. Picked up his cell phone right in front of us to have a personal conversation while we were right in front of him trying to figure out what to do! He was a complete jerk and handled everything really poorly. We asked for a supervisor which of course was unavailable or so he said. We booked the car for a family New Years trip to the mountains, and now we’re stuck. Don’t book here, completely unreliable.

Budget called from the Pembroke pines location to cancel my reservations less than 24 hours and told me that the insurance is paid through a 3rd party and they cannot initiate a refund that I would have to call them directly. Then, I asked him for the number he said that he didnt have it because that is through a 3rd party vendor. I said but I ordered through Budgets website not on a separate site. And his answer was he has nothing to do with that! Unbelievable!

Simply the best. I reserve online everytime I which saves time and give me the best price. The staff is always pleasant even when there is a line of people. There is usually only one employee there at a time so it does require patience if a lot of people arrive at the same time or its a holiday weekend. Regardless of the line I always get service with a smile.

I rented a 12 passenger chevy van for my family trip for 7 day. Van smelled like cattle. so I requested another vehicle. At this point I was very flexible and could downsize to a mini van. His options were go to the airport. Airport was out of our road trip. He decided to be done with us and decide to take care of next costumer. At this point I was getting aggravated by his rudeness. He Didnt even apologize for our inconvenience. WE decided to go to my vacation destination and try to get a van there. Budget could not accommodate that either. Their options were to stop at a car wash and have the seats and carpet washed, and they would reimburse with the receipt. Then we thought this is the last thing we wanted to do is waste 4 hours in a car wash. So we decided to go in our 3 day road trip and return the van early. we returned it 2 days early that way they could reimburse the days for our aggravation. The guy in the front desk blamed budget and the system. A partial refund was out of the question. Budget needs to train their employees better and needs to take care of their costumers too. I will not rent again from you to have your vehicles washed properly.

According to our agreement, the car at Holiday Inn-Universal Studios, M045905 S Kirkman Rd, was due to be ready at 09:00 AM.I arrived there at 09:30 am and got the car only at 10:30 AM.The car was given all wet, I cleaned all the windows and mirrors myself.I ordered a high-level car and received minimal service.I was 7 minutes late at PEMBROKE PINES because I was given a car an hour later.I arrived there at 16:07.I did not even have time to refuel because the Budget PEMBROKE PINES department closed at 16:00.The employee quickly and unfriendly took the keys from me and without checking the car and left.I received a receipt for 200 dollars.And under the contract there was a car rental of $ 100.I used this machine for only 5 hours.And even a full tank of gasoline cannot cost $ 100, although it wasn’t all empty,We are very upset to have experience in your company.And we will not do this in the future.

My most recent experience with this Budget location was a major embarrassment to me. I was told that I am on the Do not rent list, therefore I was denied service. I have made many attempts to contact Budget customer service by email and telephone but no one can find me on a Do Not Rent list. There has not been any further follow up about how I was treated during this visit and the fact that I was completely inconvenienced one day before I was to take my daughter to college. I am a single parent without family members to lend assistance. I had to make 2 trips in a car that is overage and over miles which caused my daughter to feel bad about an experience that should have been one of her fondest memories. I have rented at this location for over 10 years and I have never been treated this rude and disrespectfully. This location is close enough that I can easily get there and I established a relationship with the employees (before the newest employee took over). Needless to say, the follow up from Budget has been disappointing. I am going to send a letter to the corporate office to share my experience.

I gave this location a 2 on Google reviews only that the price for a weekend rate for a mini van was the best in the area! However, it was downhill from there! I confirmed the van that it would be ready for pick up am with several phone calls before! After being told by Jesus Gonzalez that sometimes if someone doesnt return prior on time it might not be ready nor no van at all! Almost canceled then! A day before spoke to Ricky Arrasco assured me the van would be ready to go! Well, got the van not cleaned! not washed! trash left over from the previous renters! Absolutely disgusting! Ricky offered to clean the van though didnt have time to wait! Plus I called Ricky to let him know we were on the way to have it ready! No problem I was told! No customer service even returning the van with Jesus ( could care less)! The place is so run down, a dirty hallway to the back for drop off and pick up! Im surprised that Budget operates this way and doesnt want to have better service other than low rental rates! Hopefully, corporate will look into this location!

The vehicle was on when I picked the vehicle up therefore the key was not needed to start the vehicle. Once I got home I turned the vehicle off by pushing the start button. At that time I noticed I was not given the key. The manager had to bring me the keys to my residence. I went to leave that evening and the key would not start the vehicle. The vehicle I rented was blue, the rental agreement showed white, and the key chain showed a red vehicle. I had a family emergency involving the death of my wife5father I needed to get to North Carolina for and the car would not start. After two hours I was told that the key fob battery was low on life and needed to be replaced therefore I could not shut the vehicle off while in transit from Florida to North Carolina. Not only this but the original request several days earlier was for a Chevrolet Tahoe or similar but the representative told me upon my arrival said that they had a mini van or Ford Flex which was too small for my needs. This caused me to not be able to bring everything needed for my trip. Once I arrived to return my vehicle in Asheville I was double charged. This was not the way to run any aspect of a business from the initial signing of a contract to the return of the vehicle. Not once did anyone offer any reciprocity for the inconvenience.

I rented a pickup truck originally, reservation was confirmed and next day it was cancelled without any explanation. I called the reservation department and they were rude and blamed me for the cancellation. I rented again a pickup truck, reservation was confirmed and next day the office called me to inform me that they never have pickup trucks at that location. Luckily, the front desk person helped me and gave me a Toyota 4Runner that helped me at little bit.

The person at the counter was very helpful but I made a reservation way ahead of time for an SUV for 9:00 am got there at 8:30 am and there was only 1 full size sedan my trip was on a time table thats the only reason I took this vehicle but it was not what I needed do not take reservations if you dont have the advertised vehicle this is the reason my company stopped doing business with Enterprise

The entire staff at the Pembroke Pines location did an excellent job of taking care of my requirements, which included having to extend the rental twice as my car repairs had not been completed. They explain everything in detail and were able to help me on a moments notice.

First ever google review. Reserved a truck two weeks in advance. When we got there to pick it up it was not available. They said they had one an hour and a half away. That would put me 3 hours behind schedule, to which they responded sorry. They have completely screwed us. And they could not possibly care less. Who runs a business like this? I guess I shouldnt expect anything less from idiots in Florida.

Rented my vehicle from Budget local office in Pembroke Pines, which is privately owned. 4 star experience, but no Fastbreak services for business customers, or upgrades at the counter. Overall, clean cars and efficient service. Business customers have to go to airport locations for business services. Good job by Jesus!

Ricky, the customer service rep at the location, is the most rude and obnoxious person I ever encountered in any any service oriented business. His demeanor towards all customers is totally unacceptable. I observed someone call him buddy lovingly, and he responded Im not your buddy, my name is Ricky.He is so rude, it is worth a 30 minute drive to the airport just to avoid dealing with him.

Save your money and time. Awful service, reservations mean nothing to this place. Never have the car you “reserve”. You show up and they tell you that the customer that has your “reserved” car has extended their rental agreement leaving you without a car. The budget rep does nothing to help you out. You call days prior to confirm your reservation and they can’t even assure you that the vehicle will be there. They just joke about it. Very unprofessional.

I use this location because of the convenience, but definitely not the best customer service oriented location. Received a call less than 1 hour before picking up my rental to be told that the vehicle type is not available and that’s not my issue, it’s the lack of desire to help with getting another location involved or some type of consideration. They just gave me the 800 number to Budget and hung up. There are other issues, but just cannot be bothered. I’ll just go else where.

Terrible customer service, They did not have the car I ordered when I got there at 8 AM. the employee Jessica was rude told me if I DIDNT want the cars they had that I should leave. When I called the Manager a few days later his name Jesus Gonzalez, he said he would discuss it with his employee Jessica and call me back. He never did. The employee Jessica, kept my credit card and license as I was walking out and although she had my cell and home phone never called me back to tell me she had them. When I was driving a mile down the road I realized my credit card and license was left there. I did not rent any car from them that day and will never.Low class establishment.In response to the stores reply, again rude employee, did not have the courtesy to call my cell phone and tell me that I left my credit card and license. Jessica did not care;t care told me I should leave, owner Jesus Gonzalez did not care . I have lived in the Miramar Pembroke Pines area for over 35 years. I will make sure everyone I know in this area, friends, business acquaintances know about the low class establishment this place is. It is amazing that the review star rating went from 2 stars when I initially wrote my review a week ago to 4 stars . It seems that that their are some fake positive reviews posted possibly by the manager or the owner of the location . The Budget District Manager Dean Djokal would not allow the location employee, Jessica to apologize to me. No accountability for poor customer service. The Pembroke Pines location (F10) is by far the best rental location I have dealt with over the past years. Honestly, I will not rent from no other location. The customer service of all their staff is top notch and the best by far. The staff is very informative on the current specials and deals and they even assisted me in getting a fastbreak #. ***Stay Away*** The owner is a thief!!!! I paid extra to bring the car on empty as I booked online and when I pick up the car he removed that service without my authorization. When I bought the car on empty, he charged my credit card over $300. The owner wouldnt compromise and the local Corporate District manager never returned my call. Its obvious why they suck as a company and had to endorse 1990s Jessica Simpson to market their brand. Enterprise on Pembroke RD & Flamingo has great customer service, do yourself a favor and give them the business instead of this garbage franchise.

My 2nd time renting from here and it was the worst experience Ive ever had. I reserved a truck on Thursday for Sat @ 11:30. They call me at 11:37 saying that they have no more trucks (7 minutes after pick up time!). They are supposed to give 24hr notice. Then they get me to customer service to find me another location. They dont give me any compensation. Basically I have to pay the same amount plus an extra day because Ive already lost so much time. Then they say that customer service will call me back in 2 hours to find another truck! Needless to say, I canceled and went for a Uhaul. Well worth the extra 19 cents a mile.

This location is awful. I had a family emergency that required me to have the vehicle two hours past my rental time. I was told I would be charged for an entire day. I asked is there a night drop box? No, the best you can do is drop the vehicle at the ft Lauderdale airport and they would still charge an extra for half a day. I make it to airport and they ask why would I choose that option? There is a $300 charge for dropping off a vehicle at a separate location. This was never explained by the pembroke pines location, but the airport was able to go into the data base and take off that charge. The pembroke pines location is so terrible, that I will never use Budget again.

Hello my name is Zandra Randall,Due to an emergency i needed to rent a car. I made a reservation #03517949US1 for 3-11-19 but didnt realize i put the wrong date, my date was intended for 3-13-19. I went to the Budget on Flamigo in Pembroke Pines, Fl where the reservation was made. When i realize the mistake i was at the counter of Budget Mr. Jesus Gonzalez told me he had no cars. I then call 1800 number for Budget to request a reservation for 3-13-19. I ask were there car and the rental agent on the phone said they had plenty. I then told Mr. Jesus Gonzalez the coynter agent what the agent on the phone said then he replied you most make the reservation 48hrs in advance and he would be unable to rent me a car. I felt i was recriminated against me. I then called the 1800 to Budget back and was told that they dont see a reason why he did rent to me and 48hr reservation was not true. Becuase didnt have transpotation i was force to modify my date my to 3-14-19 #03743818US1. He was very unprofessional and such an employees should not be working for such prestigious company. At this point i will not be recommending anyone to this company.

I made a reservation in advanced and then got called today at 8:30 AM to notify me that they did not have any cars available for me to pick up at 10 AM throwing my whole trip and schedule to the dump. Just horrible experience. Their vehicles are not up to par. I got delayed for 3 hours because they didnt have a working truck. Then the car dolly I rented actually snapped away from the tow ball and dumped my car on the highway. Just awful. Do not rent from this place. Choose anywhere else. Trust me, go ANYWHERE ELSE.

Extremely poor customer service. I dont recommend anyone rents a vehicle from this location unless you want to deal with employees that dont care about your time, this includes the manager Jesus. We had a reservation for months in advance, the day we were supposed to pick up car I called ahead to let them know we were on our way yet we had to wait 3 hrs for a vehicle because they didnt have any available. 3 hours that caused us to miss an event while on vacation! No one at this location had the courtesy to let us know. Staff lied about who the manager was. When the car finally arrived they tried to give it to us dirty. So we waited some more for the cleaning! The employee then said this was a common occurrence at their location & that we were lucky to be even getting a car at all!

Had a 10 oclock reservation made a week in advance however, when I arrived to pick up, no cars were available. I was told Id have to wait an hour to receive a vehicle. An hour came and left yet still no vehicles available. The only way I was told the situatuon could be remedied was, You just have to wait. A super inconvenience and the company as a whole seemed to not really care about it. My entire trip was delayed because of this. Very dissatisfied with Budget. I will never rent a vehicle with them again.

Started off bad by them giving me a car that had almost no fuel. Fair enough we were there a half hour early but the T&Cs said we can come up to an hour early. But the things they made me sign prior to me knowing it didnt have hardly any fuel said that we were given a full-tank when we werent. So I went back inside to tell them and they said as long as we return with more or same fuel as now, that they would be fine, which is sneaky since most likely theyre gonna get free fuel out of me when I return as it was near empty. Which of course they did.Then my parents put the car on their Sunpass account for driving around in Florida. That way I wouldnt have to pay the extra fees from Budget. The sunpass account picked up ALL of the tolls I went through flawlessly, but then I still received a bill from Budget for ALL of the tolls plus extra fees. I contacted them about it and they decided to credit me only partial of their original Sunpass bill instead of all of it. Why are you charging me at all when my parents Sunpass account will pay for it? Why are we being double charged? Surely this is a fault in Budgets system if theyre taking Sunpass fees that I already paid via separate Sunpass account?

Service at this location is severely lacking. How do you confirm a reservation the day before with not only the location but the corporate office and they tell you we dont have your reservation or the car. I waited 50 minutes to rent a box truck when I arrived at the office at the time of my reservation & when I returned it they overcharged me nearly 60 miles. Make sure you note your starting mileage
