Josh is my son’s Barber. He is always on time. As a busy Mom this means a lot!! My son performs and he does very cool hair designs also! He is very professional and always pleasant. I would definitely recommended him!!

I needed an emergency haircut before a flight and found VIP CUTS 2 online. When I arrived, my first impression was how clean the barbershop was and the positive and friendly attitude between staff members. My barber was Christian and he was very helpful and understood exactly what I was looking for, which I sometimes have trouble explaining. Id recommend this barbershop to anyone in the Pines area or further out. I came from North Miami and can 100% say, I will be returning as the experience was worth it.

Been going here for a while and I always get my haircut with David. David is one of the best, if not the best barber I’ve ever had. He’s extremely professional, works until you are satisfied and focuses on the details. After coming home from the military, he knew exactly the style that I wanted and made it perfect. Very friendly/cool as well. Recommend asking for David if you’re looking for a new place/barber.

I am not normally inclined to write reviews online, but in this case I felt compelled to bring this to the attention of anyone making an appointment with this specific barber named Josh (this in no way takes away anything from the other staff and the establishment, who I have had many positive experiences with).So I make my appointment with Josh, arrive on time, were off to a good start greeting each other, I tell him what I want, he has on good music, and he gets to work. Mind you this is the second time I had this guy cut my hair, so we were already acquainted to a degree. First half goes clean and well without incident. Midway, however, I ask him if I can have a mirror so that I can look at my neckline. A fair and simple request, I thought he had already touched it up since I could feel him trim through it prior. Then he acts confused and hands me the mirror, and as I check he basically states that he hasnt even gotten that far yet. A simple misunderstanding, I assume, and I brush it off after looking and tell him to continue.But then he starts getting antagonistic, telling me something along the lines of bro do you not trust me to cut your hair like you asked? Why you being like this? Then he says I guess better for next time I dont book an appointment for you if youre gonna be that way. At this point I cant help but feel unsettled, as it is my money that I am giving him, it is my hair that I am asking him to cut my way, and I cant help but wonder why he would get confrontational when I simply ask for a mirror to look at how my hair looks.Then, when I tell him never mind then, keep going, forget what I said, he pushes it further with no actually I wont forget, because for my clients its important to me when Im doing something they want or not, but I dont get why youre like this right now while Im working on you. I was just done at that point, but wanted him to finish my haircut and not start any drama, so I didnt say anything for the rest of that time. So he continues to the end, but he starts to rush through trimming the remainder of my hair, faster than he was working before. It almost felt like he was in a hurry to get me out of his chair, but I wont read too much into that since it is more ambiguous. So I pay him his $30 (via Zelle since he doesnt take card, which I dont recall from last time and wasnt told beforehand), say goodbye, and leave.I understand these guys are on their individual contract type gigs so I cannot hold anything against the whole shop and other barbers. But I dont appreciate being given that kind of attitude for a service I am paying for, and over something as miniscule as asking for a mirror to look at my own hair.So that about wraps things up here. Two stars. The only reason I didnt give this guy one star is because the haircut was solid and I will give credit where credit is due out of good principle. Regardless, he will not be getting any more of my service in the distant future. And just a fair bit of early warning for anyone making an appointment with this Josh fellow: Dont ask him to pass you a mirror midway through your cut, because you will get some unsavory attitude.S

I brought in my toddler for an hair cut ..Since I felt hustled by Alejandro last time ..I had called to check the price prior to arrival ..I was told it was 25 ..To my luck .. I was sent to Alejandro again..After the haircut .. he wanted to charge $33 because he had to use scissors..I thought using scissors was the norm in any part of the worldI was shocked.. I felt ripped off ..if he had told me this prior to haircut .. I would had been more then happy to Pay but it’s a question of principal .. this leaves a sour taste.I would never ever come to this barber shop .

Was in the area today and did a walk in. Clean place, friendly people, good haircut. Losing a star for price. $30.00 for a clipper cut and light scissor work is just too much. I have never paid that in my life. I get my haircut every 3-4 weeks so its not financially good for me.

First time here. Glad we came. Shop well kept. Clean and family friendly. We got barber Alejandro Torres assigned to us. Alejandro knows his job very well and very customer focused. My 16 yr old was very happy with the fade & cut and the overall service he received. Highly recommend. Thank you so much Alejandro! Keep up the excellent quality of work and professionalism. Best place to go for a cut! Standards for workers are high and they are heavily experienced. I have personally been getting my cut from Alejandro and the environment set at the shop allows for a good opportunity to build stronger connections among guests and workers.

I cant believe a matter of days after giving this shop a 5 star rating, I had to come on here and change it. But here goes. I will not call out the barber in question because Im not a 5 year old, but the public needs to know what to expect. So Ive been using this same barber since end the end of August. Started off charging me $30 for a comb over and beard. Around my 3rd haircut, he said he needed to charge me $35 because it is a difficult haircut (never heard this in my life). He is an excellent barber, so I said it was fine. Fast forward to about 3 weeks ago, I use another barber in the same shop who charges me $30. Already, the suspicions had begun. Then, just before my appointment today, he tells me that the shop is charging more because its Christmas week so he has to charge me $40. When I call him out, he says I can use the other barber. Charging more because its Christmas? Never, in my 33 years of life, have I heard such BS. You would think, during difficult times, that people would be trying to keep their clients, especially loyal ones. But apparently this wasnt important to him, so this shop just lost a loyal customer. Shame too, he really was an excellent barber. Also, ended up going over to gentlemans on Sheridan, same haircut with a towel shave for $25. :)

My son hates getting his hair cut. Krissy changed all of that for him. He was going to her since kindergarten. Then she left. He wouldnt go back or with anyone else. Booked appt. As he wanted a specific cut that we could not do. And when there we saw she was back. He wanted her and was so happy with cut. Hes now in 4th grade and she is great. Especially dealing with him as he is picky. Everyone there is so professional and happy to help. I see so many adults and kids there and they are great with everyone.

So I’ve been going to the same barber for the past few years and can say I’ve gotten decent haircuts. A buddy of mine told me I had to give the shop and a specific barber a shot. So I head down to the shop and ask for Alfredo. I can honestly say that it was by far the best haircut I’ve gotten in my life. Alfredo took his time and absolutely killed it. I can honestly say I’ve found a secret gem in south Florida and will refer everyone I know to him.

Jose is an actual goat, however I felt like the cut I got was overpriced. I paid 25 because that was what I had on me, but if I had 30 I would of have to give to him. Also, he wasn’t wearing a mask which for me didn’t matter but for some people it could.

I was looking for a barber for almost a year then I stumbled upon Alfredo(fredo) about a year ago. Not knowing what to expect I took my chances with a new barber. And I will say this was the best decision I made. Fredo is now not only a barber but a good friend I can trust each time I go in the get a fade. He takes his time and makes me feel like a high priority when I sit in his chair.

The staff here does a great job at shaping up each new style and leaves me feeling much better anytime I come here. No doubt they are the best in town!

Did a walk in with no appointment no wait time,Jose took me right away, I went to his station that was like a room he had good music and a great attitude but upon finishing my cut and asking him how much he said $25 when on the price board it says haircuts $15 and he wasn’t even 30 min with me. Shocked at the price and how fast it took him I feel ripped off. A business not clear about their prices is a business I don’t support. First and last time coming here unfortunately it wasn’t what I thought.

I have been going to VIP for about 3 months now and my barber Chris is always on point and always available when needed. I can also say that about all the barbers at the shop they all can cut hair, so if you are new and looking for a barber you can just walk in and pick whoever and you will not be disappointed. The shop is friendly and professional. I have been to many barber shops and its always either the barber is not there or cant make it. Or my haircut would never be consistent from my previous ones. Not with VIP what ever haircut you want they can get it done.

I have been getting my haircut for years with Chris. He’s very professional, friendly, and gives great haircuts. There’s also never a duel moment in this barbershop. All the barbers get along with anyone that walks through the door. They make everyone feel like family.

Chris never fails to leave me a satisfied customer. I am always welcomed by the whole team and Chris always takes his time to make sure my hair looks great by the time I’m walking out.

The fifth star wouldve been given if there was some sort of front desk service to better facilitate walk-ins. Barbers usually just mug you if youre not a familiar face. Then you get your typical try hard gangsters from Pembroke Pines, you got an appointment? Also, dont add to the intimidation by making people feel guilty for not knowing what style of cut they want. I went their three times before choosing a permanent barber and Chris was the only one who understood how to bring back a customer. He understood what a little shorter meant, focused on cutting my hair and got me in and out in 30 minutes.

Great barbershop ! I have a great overall experience at VIP 2 in Pembroke Pines every single time I go for my weekly haircut. A great atmosphere with a talented barber at every chair. Personally, I go to the back of the shop for the Danny special. Daniel is (in my opinion) the best barber for me at the shop and that is the reason I return every week for my haircut.

First time in the area and came in for a cut. The first chair barber offered to cut me. Sat in his chair and searched for a previous cut in my photos in order to show him. He seemed very impatient. No one else was waiting in the shop. I told him I am very particular. Showed him a picture & he hesitated. I told him I need a barber with confidence. He asked if another barber would help him cut my hair. With this being said I basically informed them that I was highly unsure about their shop. Before leaving, another barber requested to cut my hair. Took me to his chair & talked extremely negative about his coworker. Long story short, PEP cut my hair and it was EXTREMELY UNEVEN! Maybe he really cuts like that, maybe he was being an a** because I was going to leave. Regardless of the matter, his service was TERRIBLE!! Customer Service POOR!

This is the friendliest barber shop Ive ever stepped foot into. Ive been here a couple times and had great experiences both times. Great pricing and really fast service. What I get done isnt very complicated, but Ive had other places take three times as long to accomplish the same cut and charge twice as much to boot.

Danny G. has been cutting my hair for years and theres no end in sight. 10/10. He has his own private room in the back for ultimate comfort and privacy and hes just an all around great dude. Ive gotten to really know him and hell even be at my birthday. Everyone else at the shop is super nice, offering coffee whenever theres a fresh batch made and all eager to help. As for quality of the cut, Danny does it all very well and comfortably, without drawing blood like some other barbers. Hes down to earth and wont be just another awkward barber... Moral: Dont go to Danny G., he will ruin other barbers for you lol.

I bring my little brother here all the time and every time I go it’s smooth sailing . I go in sometimes and have to wait a little but the haircut and friendship you build with the barbers is like no other shop ! Definitely recommend! :)

These guys are pros. Any barber can cut. I go in to tape up my beard and it comes out fresh all the time. They also give advise on ways to avoid razor bumps and choosing different styles. If youre a busy person, you can always schedule an appt. Theyre convenient and I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I’ve been at this barbershop four times; one with no appointment and three other times by appointment. The first time I had my hair cut with Jay I had no appointment. I had to wait for another person who had an appointment to show up (10 minutes late) and wait another 30 minutes while the customer was attended; that was perfectly fine and I understand Jay must honor his appointments; that’s not and will never be an issue. I admired his commitment to customers.Having said that, from the three times I’ve been at this barbershop by appointment, I have had to wait 2 times, 20 minutes and 15 minutes respectively to be attended even though I’m paying for my appointment and showing up in time. Today was one of those days… my son had an appointment at 12:30pm and we had to wait an additional 15 minutes at the barbershop. I find it unreasonable not to be honored for my appointment and my time when I have waited for others as I should when I have no appointment.Today, I had another appointment with an Air Conditioner Technician; my business office AC broke and I needed to be there at 1:00pm to have it replaced. Seeing that it was 12:45pm and my child hadn’t been attended, I decided to ask another barber to help me out and cut my child’s hair.Somehow Jay got visibly irritated and uncomfortable with the situation. I believe that he wasn’t able to comprehend today that I’m a customer too and that he cannot be working and making money at my time’s expense for a second time because I had business of my own to care for.Jay approached me and told me in a passive-aggressive tone and visibly irritated that “I needed to let him know when I was in a rush like that because someone else could have taken my appointment” even though I showed up in time as usual. I was going to explain to Jay that I needed him to respect my time as much as I respect everyone else’s time but I realized that it wasn’t going to help because he interrupted me again saying that “otherwise I needed to find another barber”. Agitated breathing and talking over me does not intimidate me; it only shows poor self-control and lack of skills to deal with a situation that made him uncomfortable.It might have been a “bad day” or he might be going through some personal situation; I don’t know and I can understand if that’s case, but I find it highly unacceptable for a manager to conduct himself in such manner and handle a situation like this so poorly; something that the customer did not create in the first place; I had showed up in time as usual and I’m paying for the service as every other customer is. There were one and a million ways to address this better; apologizing for having me to wait a second time would have been a good start into a civilized conversation and had given me the opportunity to share with Jay why I couldn’t afford to wait much longer today.I may continue to visit this barbershop for my own haircuts, there are plenty of good people there; this will not drive me away. But I will not take my child there ever again because I’m truly concerned, let alone giving my business and head to Jay... and thats the manager.

An extremely welcoming shop. Upon entering everyone gets greeted. If no appointment is made (not required) the wait time is not long at all. As for the cuts, not just done to myself but witnessing others, the job always gets done well.

I loved this place to take my kid they always did a good job but unfortunately the last time I went my son had a horrible reaction from a haircut apparently the tape area on his forehead got a bacterial infection that needed medical attention. I am still waiting for the results of the test and see what it really is i loved the way I was treated and the barber at the front is very very nice but unfortunately I had to share this as a mom.
