My A/C started blowing warm/hot air. My vehicle was a 2008 which made the A/C 13yrs old and this was the first time I had an issue with it. I needed to find a trustworthy and honest mechanic/shop to handle this problem since my mechanic of over 8yrs closed and moved out of state. So I did some investigating and review lookups along with relying on Tripe A (AAA) recommendation and chose this AAmaco Auto Shop in Pembroke Pines. I called and made an appointment and brought in. I was pleasantly surprised to find out the problem was not a major one. The mechanic here quickly diagnosed the issue which was to clean a air hose which had accumulated dirt buildup over the 13yrs and add Freon to the A/C system. This simple fix did not burn a hole in my pocket either. Very reasonably priced, great service, trustworthy and very reliable. I’m glad to report that 1 week later my A/C is still blowing arctic air. They warranty their work and also put some dye into the Freon so that if the problem happened to be Freon leaking, they could quickly find the location. A backup to ensure that they did indeed fix it. Very professional, easy to schedule an appointment and you are able to leave your auto with them knowing you are in good hands. Kudos to this AAmaco and I am happy to do any future business with them. They honor discounts also that you may have and I presented mine at the time of payment rather than ahead of time just to be sure their was no funny up pricing going on.
Tried to rob me straight up. Stay away I was lucky enough to get a second opinion and save myself $3900 after they told me my transmission need to be rebuilt when in reality it only needed a solenoid which they absolutely knew and thought i would fall prey to there scum bag tactics do not go here you have been warned!!
I am so blessed and fortunate to have found this auto mechanic shop on Groupon, I read the reviews and I was hooked. it touched my spirit in a way that, I had two other places lined up to go to but my heart told me go to this establishment. Due to the fact that I read those reviews of all the patrons that came there and had services done to their vehicles and how pleased they were, also the majority of them raved about how honest the employees were and how fast and efficient they were, also how fair their prices were as well as how they go into such detail to explain everything that is wrong with your vehicle and they dont do unnecessary work thats not needed. Several people on the reviews that I read stated that they had went to other mechanics and the other mechanics told them that at least seven or eight things were wrong, but when they brought their vehicles to this shop Ivan inform them that all that work was not needed they just needed a very inexpensive part and they were on their way. and also there was one guy that said he purchased a car and he was told the engine needed to be replaced and he purchased the car anyway and brought it this shop and ask them to replace the engine, thats what they were told needed to be done and Ivan again told them let me check it out just to be sure he checked it out and he didnt need the engine to be replaced it was just a crack part on the manifold it was replaced and the gentleman was so happy that Ivan was such a honest individual and he still comes to his company to this day after many years . Can I say exceptional God sent . If you are thinking of finding a good mechanic shop with honest people with fair prices look no further this is going to be a lifetime thing trust and believe what Im telling you I myself believe in word of mouth and all the reviews that I read they didnt lie because I had the same experience when I went to the shop I am so pleased with the work I had done it was fast efficient and without any problems. and I have recommended my family and they are going to be making appointments to go there and it is suggested that you make an appointment because youll get seen in a more efficient time please pass it on to your friends and family we all have to support each other in these times.
Wow, I haven’t experienced customer service like this in years. K, answered all my calls asked me what the best way to contact me, Ivan and K emailed me every step of the way, left messages to explain the process. I felt like family, I have absolutely nothing negative to say. I will bring my entire family to this facility for their auto repairs.
Looked at my ac no charge..found a loose hose and fixed it free. I was almost sorry they didnt do a repair. Nice people. I will return if anything needs fixing in the future.

I made an appointment to take my 2015 Hyundai Elantra for its 15,000 mile inspection and oil change. The appointment was set for 11:00 AM, and my car was taken in immediately. I was pleasantly surprised when told that all the liquids and filters were OK. The mechanic told me I would have to rotate the tires are a later date, and he was very thorough when explaining the work he had done. I will use them again whenever I need work done.

This place is a rip off. They are very expensive. It has left a bad taste in my mouth. He did not discuss price with me but went ahead and changed front brakes etc. Then told me a ridiculous price. Will never go near there again. I have learned my lessons. They were recommended by a friend.

Brought car for a battery replacement, still under warranty. This was replace and they suggested additional work totaling $950.00 to which I agreed. 5 days later they notified me of car readiness. As soon as I drove car out, noticed all kinds of error messages displayed. This was Friday evening, theyre close Saturday/Sunday. Following Monday 1st thing drop car over (disappointed). Later around noon was call that car was ready. Today, 4 days later all seems to be Ok.
This is a family run business and you can always count on being taken care of in that manner. They truly care about you and your car. I had my Dads Mitsubishi Galant inspected prior to selling it and they did a great job going through all aspects of the vehicle. Thank you!
Its a Long Story so I will cut to the chase.My 2005 Toyota MR2s transmission was acting up so I took it to Toyota of North Miami. They told me I needed $5,100.00 in repairs. I took the car back with nothing done. The car ran fine for a month but decided to get a second opinion at AAMCO. After a 60 minute wait I was told the was nothing wrong with my transmission. I told them to check again, so they did. Still nothing but told me my gas cap was faulty that is why my check engine light was on. I got a new one and the light went off. They sent me away as happy as I could be No Charge for anything Honesty goes a long way these days. I had lunch delivered an hour later to show my appreciation. AamcoI took my car in for service at Aamco Pembroke Pines and spoke an employee named Ivan. I let him know that I want my transmission serviced and to check if everything else is running smoothly. At the time, my car was sitting at 70k miles. He said it would take a day or two because of business volume. Next day I get a call from Ivan and he tells me that I need a new engine mount and transmission. He explained the situation with the transmission and other small issues the car has. The amount of stress that I had building up from hearing the damage my car had was no joke. What really set the fire was the price for everything that came out to $5,200. He started to explain the payment options, even taking out a credit with them to make monthly payments.I decided to get a second opinion and take my car to the dealership where I purchased the vehicle. They couldn’t find anything wrong with the transmission or the engine mount. What they did tell me is that I needed an oil change, coolant hose, and a few other things with a total of $710.Aamco left a really bad taste in my mouth. I could only imagine the people they have cheated and lied to. Especially with times like this. Thank God I made the decision to get a second opinion on my car. I highly recommend you don’t go to this facility, but if you need to go there, get a second opinion.

I had a very good experience at AAMCO in Pembroke Pines. I brought in my truck because the check engine light came on. It ended up being the solenoid (?) valve and they fixed it. They charged me exactly what they said they would. I highly recommend.
My car was received by the service advisor on January 22, 2020. I asked him how many days he would be ready and he said: on about 7 to 10 days. The first week passed and the car was not ready. After spending the second week he said that one of the pieces arrived wrong. In the 3rd week, my name was to tell me that in addition to the transmission being damaged, the computer had also been damaged, which needed a couple more days to get a new one. On February 20.2020 The service advisor calls on me and told me that the car was ready to pick up. When paying and signing all the documents, they deliver the car to me and less than half a mile the Engine and Auto LSD lights come on. I take the car back to the workshop and after 20 minutes they deliver it to me again and tells me to bring it in 10 days for observation. Upon returning to the house and almost reaching it, the same alerts light up again. I called him and he said that it is not a major problem that I continue to use it, hours later I go to work and the car starts cranking when I make the automatic change. Im going to take the car back to you early in the day of Feb 24, 2020. Im frustrated, Ive wasted time and stopped producing income for 30 days. I am an independent contractor of shared trips and this situation has hurt me tremendously. I Demand an immediate and professional action by this workshop as soon as possible. I have found the staff at this AAMCO to be very knowledgeable and courteous. They always take care of my vehicle without delays. The estimate given to me at the start and the time frame is always accurate and is very useful in allowing me to plan my time while I am waiting for the repairs to be completed.

I had a groupon. I scheduled an appt per the gentleman who I spoke with regarding coupon. When I arrived I was told the service would take 2 hrs. I said I would wait and the gentleman at the counter did not appear happy. I left to get coffee came back and asked where the waiting room was. I did not feel very welcome. The gentleman came back and told me they could not change the fluid because there was something very wrong with the transmission. In fact if anyone changed it it would ruin the car. He proceeded to tell me that I could possibly drive the car a year without problem but a new transmission would cost 4000. Groupons are paid ahead so now I was out 119 dollars. I drove the car to another mechanic and they assured me nothing was wrong they changed the fluid for me and the car runs great. They matched the price of the groupon and told me that your company was trying to scam me. I WILL NEVER RETURN to your shop. Reported you to Groupon. They gave me a credit for the groupon and will be exploring any legal action I can take. I have posted my experience on social media. Your employee was rude and trying to scare me into replacing the transmission. As soon as I walked up I felt as though I had disturbed the gentleman. When I tried another mechanic I had used for oil changes in the past they were kind friendly walked me through what they were doing gave me a good price. I bought the entire garage lunch and posted their business card on my social media with a glowing review. Again I will do what I can to expose your shady garage

After the dealer botched my slip differential with what should have been a simple differential oil change, my car differential started making rubbing noises. I went to this shop and I couldnt be more happy that I did, they quickly figure out what the dealer couldnt, fixed the issue and charged me a fair price.

Took my car to get an estimate and they said it will be done shortly.. It took over an hour and a half. Once I told them I had to leave they just said they will call me with the estimate.. They never did.. I drove back and asked for the estimate they just said it will be around $2500... I guess they where too busy to actually take the time for me..

Awesome service and kept costs at minimum. Expected issue with the transmission, and they quickly diagnosed the problem as a minor issue and not a transmission issue and fixed. In addition our AC that had not worked in two years (others suggested a complete replacement of AC unit) was fixed at a lower cost. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend Raul and this AAMCO team, first mechanic in Florida I can finally trust.
My 1998 Lexus was revving up when first stared and the car was cold and indications were that it was a transmission issue so I took it to AAMCO in Pembroke Pines. I was helped by Mike who was very friendly and helpful. I explained to him that with the car having 194K miles I was not looking at spending $2-3k to rebuild the transmission or on any other expensive repair since the car was already 14 years old. Mike understood and we established a budget for labor that met my needs. After the mechanic analyzed the problem the issue did turn out to be the transmission. Since I did not want to spend a lot of money to rebuild the transmission Mike suggested I consider purchasing a used transmission that was in good condition. Mike was very helping assisting me finding a used transmission with only 90k miles on it at a fraction of what it would have cost me to rebuild my transmission. I’ve had the car back for a week now and the car has been running great with no issues. Thanks to Mike and the Pembroke Pines AAMCO team my 1998 Lexus will be on the road for a bit longer and I can delay the purchase of a new car.I’m very pleased with the level of service I received from Mike and AAMCO and I would recommend them to anyone especially if you have a transmission problem.Tico

The staff was cordial, patient, and took the ime to explain every detail and options available for getting my car back on the road. The service was completed in a timely manner while making my grandaughter and I very comfortable.I will definitely be bringing my vehicle their for service. I brought my 2003 Jeep liberty to Aamco early on a Monday morning needing only a rear transmission seal. Mike told me that it would be done around 12:30 or 1, around 10:30 he called me and said it was done (I was shocked that they were able to finish it so quickly). Mike was very nice about it. (Plus after this I had a four hour drive home). I drove it all the way home and havent had any problems. Great service and I would recommend them to anyone. Not to mention that it was cheaper than what anyone else had quoted me, So that was a bonus!!
My transmission failed suddenly but I was able to limp it in to AAMCO late on a Wednesday. The folks working stayed late to check me in. Mike called the next day to let me know that I would need a rebuild as I had suspected. He was able to get it rebuilt running perfectly by Saturday allowing me to continue my trip planned for Monday.When I came back for my 10 day follow up Mike noticed i had a light out as i was pulling into the lot and had the guys inspect and fix it at now charge to me.i was very pleased with the level of service i received and would strongly recommend this shop for any transmission worries.TP

AVOID AT ALL COST!!! If you have any car problems DO NOT GO THERE!!! Horrible customer service (specifically Raul)!!! Horrible at diagnosing problems with your car!!! Was a $250 problem, paid close to $5000; they exchanged every part in the car instead of checking for an electrical problem first...Been dealing with them for a month now (and still counting); the car is still having problems. They NEVER CALL BACK!!! I had to make sure I called for me to get information on the car. And every time i called there was a new diagnosis and new exhorbitant charges.A date is given for you to pick up your car, and when you come or call for pick up theres a new (costly) problem (which you werent aware of since they dont call) which you have to wait another week for... DO NOT GO THERE!!!

They saved me Thousands! the Dealer wanted to replace my transmission, but a good friend suggested that I get a second opinion and recommended AAmco of Pembroke Pines where he takes his own cars. Raul the Manager towed the car in for free and did a complete diagnosis (free) where the techs found a faulty sensor. They replaced the sensor and problem was fixed costing me under $200. versus over $3000. at the dealer.I would definitively highly recommend them. I wont take my car any where else!

Great Shop, became great friends with the owner after servicing all of my cars for their lifetime, even after they were sold the new owners continue to come back for the great service. Plus you can never go wrong with the nationwide warranties.
The reason why they get one star is because that is the lease I am allowed to leave. I wish I would have read the reviews before I took my vehicle over to this place. Every once in a while my engine light would come one then my transmission would start to slip. The next day my truck would be fine, so it sounds like an electrical problem. I took my SUV in to get checked out to AAMCO Transmissions. They told me that there is a problem with the transmission wiring and that will cost about $354.00 to fix. I was fine with that and told them to go ahead and fix it. The next day they called and said that there are far more problems with the transmission and I need a complete transmission over haul which will cost $3200.00. I told them that I don’t want to get the truck fixed and put it back together. They said I will be charged $900 just to put the truck back together and it will not be running. Let me remind you that fact that it cost $350 to take apart and I was able to drive the truck there. Since they refuse to let me leave with the vehicle without fixing it I told them to go ahead and fix it. About a week and a half later they called me back with another problem. They told me that I need a new computer that would be $700.00. I am sure this was the problem all along. I had no choice but to have them fix it. About 30 days later my vehicle is finally ready. The next day I’ve noticed a 3 ft. crack across the bottom of my windshield underneath the windshield wiper. So I called AAMCO and brought my vehicle back over there. Of course they denied breaking the windshield. Management didn’t even come outside to even look at it. My over all experience from 1 to 10 would be a -1. I would never recommend anyone to this place. Don’t understand how they even stay in business. But they did offer me a Publix gift card to leave a good review for them on Google. I guess I am not getting that gift card now.
I had to have my transmission oil and filter changed. I called and spoke to Mike, who gave me the price over the phone. I brought the car in and decided to wait for it to be done. The work was completed in 45 minutes and the price he quoted me was the price he charged me. No bait and switches, and no trying to get me to spend more money on work that I may not have needed. They checked a few other things for me at no charge. This was the best experience Ive ever had at an auto repair place. I intend to go back to AAmco in Pembroke Pines the next time I need my car fixed.

This AAMCO location is the worst I have ever been to and was a terrible disappointment. First, please note that if you plan to go here for as simple as an oil change or sensor etc, you need to plan to leave your car all day long. This is not for folks who want to get their car serviced and ready the same day.I brought my car for a 25 min service and was strongly encouraged to leave it and they will call me to tell me the price once they have a look at it. So I took a $30 cab ride home. By 3:30PM, no one called, so I called and was told that they had just got the part and then explained the pricing and that it would be ready by 5:30PM.I called at 5:15 PM to tell them I was on the way and was told they were closed, as they closed at 5PM, although the website said 5:30PM for this location??? So I asked why they told me to come at 5:30PM if they closed at 5? I was then told they would make an exception so I should pick it up at 7PM. I told them that since I was on the way, I would just pick it up by 5:30PM. They guy was adamant to come in at 7 instead (this being after he told me they closed at 5 lol) This gave me the impression that they were trying to stall for time as they probably hadnt started my car yet. However, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I told him I needed it before 7 and then he said to get there by 6:30.As I was pulling into the parking lot at 6:15, someone called me to tell me the part had not yet arrived? Keep in mind, they already told me earlier the price based on the part they claimed arrived. I got pissed off and the guy had the nerve to tell me that what they needed to do only took 25 minutes, yet they had my car from 9:30AM-6:15PM and not a damn thing was done. So basically, I paid a $30 cab ride, left my car for 8.5 hours for NOTHING!!!! I lost money that day as I rely on my car to make money part time.So to sum up, I lost money $30, lost 8.5 hours of my time that I cannot get back and I STILL had to take my car elsewhere to get fixed. I took it to another AAMCO the following day and my car was done in an hour, although the other location was busier.Unfortunately, I have to give at least a star but if it was solely up to me, they would not even get a star.I wasted an ENTIRE day and my car still wasnt done, for something that shouldve only taken 25 minutes. They need to understand that some people want their car back the same day. If you cannot do someones car the same day, you should tell them right away so they decide what they want to do. Instead, you discourage them from waiting by telling them they may want to drop it off and come back. I would NEVER EVER go here again if this was the last AAMCO location on planet earth!!!!
