Cira has a big heart and she loves her fur babies. She has a special way of finding a dog that matches your personality. Before adoption, she makes sure that they are well trained and healthy. I have adopted two fur babies from her. Kylie and Zoey they are both so special and so appreciative. I will always use her service and appreciate all she does for these pets.

We adopted our wonderful rescue dog 6 years ago from Ciri. He has been a fantastic addition. Ciri drove to our house and made the adaption hassle free. We are forever grateful

They give away foster dogs and pay for all their needs and like let the owners foster them for a week for a specific amount of time

I have never met a more caring and compassionate person when it comes to protecting and caring for animals. Cira is an advocate for animal rights and we have been blessed with adopting 2 amazing Weimaraners from her rescue. Her screening for adopting families is strict but that is exactly what you would want in a rescue. The world is a better place because of Cira and this rescue

We have been working with Cira and A Better Life Rescue for almost 8 years and we have adopted 3 dogs from her rescue. In addition, we referred our friends that adopted 3 dogs from her as well. I have the upmost respect for Cira, she is s a very honest and caring person and is very passionate about the well being of animals she rescues. She is a fierce animal advocate and is not afraid to speak up when she feels someone is mistreating an animal. She is very supportive and has a wealth of knowledge and is more than willing to help with any concerns you may have with your newly adopted family member. She puts in a lot of time and effort into the selection process to ensure she matches the right dog with the right family. Cira is wonderful and we wouldnt adopt from any other rescue.

Thank you Cira and A Better Life Rescue! Right before the pandemic (3 1/2 months ago), I adopted Cookie, a 7 year old Yorkie. Cookie blended right in with my dog Chip and I. She is adorable and we are truly in love with her. Cira took excellent care of her before I adopted her. The adoption went very smoothly and I am forever grateful.

Very rude staff, talking to me about how I should be ashamed of giving up a sick dog that someone cannot take care of anymore. Be aware, go to another animal shelter! Very unprofessional, will NOT be coming back.

I just adopted Teddy, a little Yorkie, from “A Better Life Rescue”. I couldn’t be any happier with the whole process and with the owner of this Rescue organization, Cira. I most say that this lady is just a book of knowledge about dogs, very compassionate and above all very passionate for what she does. Thank you Cira for giving me the chance to bring Teddy home and for all of your suggestions and teachings!

What a shame!!! An absolute shame. These people are so judgmental and ready to crucify pet owners who went to Banfield over 10 years ago! My dog lived until age 15! Was groomed, happy, and healthy but all this woman could do was criticize people who arent as perfect as her. She wants people to shop at puppy mills. She thinks she is God herself, judging what she doesnt know. I had to cut her off because she just kept bashing people, instead of simply stating the puppy had to go to the same vet. You make other shelters look bad. Disgusting. She doesnt want these dogs to have a better life she wants to talk down to people and pretend shes above it all.

As mentioned below..these people will literally down talk you about what a terrible pet owner you are with out even knowing you or your history. Go to places that actually want to work on putting pets in good homes! Don’t waste your time here

This woman is the real deal. She takes in all kinds of dogs that need rescue; the injured, the disabled, the dying, the seniors and the dogs with special needs. Ive seen other rescues turn down dogs that she ended up taking in a heartbeat. She has a heart of gold and is a fierce defender of all animals. Not sure why one star rating... sometimes the public is just far more difficult to deal with than the animals.

Ms. Cira is a wonderful person, she gives me very good advice with a little dog that I found on the street, she is very concerned and diligent.
