I appreciated them taking their time explaining all the options to my wife and I, and making adjustments to their package deal to fit our circumstances. I am confident that when the time comes they will take the burden off of us at a very stressful time. We are glad that everything is arranged for in advance. Since we plan to live a long time, we will be saving a ton of money by locking in todays funeral costs. They have a good payment plan with zero interest over 3 years making the costs affordable.

Andy, Brandon, Paul and the entire staff went above and beyond for our family when Dad passed. They were so compassionate, patient and understanding. They never rushed us in any way from the planning all the way through the service and beyond. This was some of the most difficult days of my life, but it was made much more bearable because of these wonderful people.

They are wonderful. There is nothing but good vibes and they treated us well. People have been calling with great comments. And this was our 2nd round - I am planning to prearrange mine soon.

Mitch was both helpful and compassionate when helping us to make funeral plans for our father. He easily answered all of our questions and supplied us with knowledge of other things we would need to know.While guiding us on our journey through the process, Mitch was professional and made us feel comfortable as though he was a trusted family friend.

The staff at Kilgore were amazing. They all worked tirelessly to accommodate all our needs. When it happened, I had to call Hospice, they came and then I called Dennis Russell with Kilgroe, Leeds and he and Mitch Bartee came. Mitch is a nephew and oversees Kilgroe at Pell City and Dennis and I have known each other all our life. During this difficult time it was very comforting to have someone I knew and I considered family to entrust my loved one to. The whole staff at Kilgroe, Leeds, are very professional yet will make you feel like family. They have been so supportive and helpful assisting me with filling out numerous forms and contacting others, that I could not have done it all without them. They have all made this stressful time in my life a little bit more bearable. I highly recommend them.

Thank you to Brandon who went above and beyond this morning to search out the arrival of flowers for a funeral happening this morning for my Uncle. I was very upset that I had not received a notification from the Florist showing that they had arrived yesterday. Since I could not be there for the funeral, it was very important to me that the flowers deliver so that my Aunt and family know that they were all in our thoughts. Brandon was so kind over the phone and text and and after investigating he confirmed that the flowers had indeed arrived. Thank you again Brandon so much for your assistance.

The Kilgore staff was very professional and sensitive to our concerns/ wishes. Their support was timely and transparent, not always the case these days.

Everyone hates to go through the process of burying a loved one, but Mitch and his team made this a much less stressful process. They were there a few moments after my father passed away and kindly guided us through the entire process. We were treated with the upmost respect at each step and they truly worked to lessen the burden on the family. Kilgroe also handled my mothers funeral a few years ago and provided the same level of excellence through that experience as well.My dad had purchased a pre-arranged package from Kilgroe several years ago (thanks Dad), and they honored his wishes to the letter. I will be making an appointment with the Kilgroe team to do the same, since this also made the process of Dads funeral much easier for myself.

Canaan Elkins was the funeral director who assisted my family and me with the arrangements for my husbands funeral. Canaan did an AMAZING job! Making final arrangements for your loved one is difficult. Kilgroe Funeral Home provided a very hospitable environment for me to plan my fathers funeral. Canaan Elkins was our funeral director. It was raining the day I went to plan the funeral service. He helped me get daddys suit and other things out of my car with an umbrella, offered me refreshments, and made me feel at home. He interpreted the details from my fathers burial insurance policy, explained the details to me, and informed me of all options that we could include in the service and burial. My father was retired military. I had no idea that he was eligible for a full military burial including flag folding and presentation, playing of taps, and a 21-gun salute. Canaan and his supporting staff coordinated everything for the military service. In addition, his staff ordered a military foot stone. The day of the service, Canaan organized the pall bearers and instructed them. And when invited to stay after the service with our family to have lunch at the church, he graciously accepted the invitation. During the lunch, he was warm and friendly with family and listed to stories they told about my father. The experience was much less stressful because of the kindness of the people that work there and the fact that they are so organized.

I would like to thank all of you for all the help you gave my sisters and myself on the arrangements for our mom.I have always come to you for in funeral needs and recommended your company to anyone that has ever ask me. I was very disappointed with it my mom prepaid for her funeral and then when it came time we couldnt get the music played that we asked they wouldnt even turn it up where nobody can hear it at the gravesite they literally asked people to get up out of the chairs because they had another funeral to go to and let people stand in there I was very disappointed with it and the obituary pamphlet that everyone received they left peoples names out of it that she had pre-made and have the names already wrote up they left names out I was just very disappointed that she paid that kind of money and it turned out as it did but it is what it is

He stepped me through each step of the process and made me feel comfortable with all that I had to do. He took it nice and slow in order for me to understand what he was telling me.
