I scheduled an appointment for today to have a technician come out and look at my dryer. I received texts and an email with confirmation. No one ever showed. I was skeptical because I knew Sears was out of business so I wondered if this repair thing was even legit. I guess not. I am leaving this review just in case that it is. The email even had a picture and name of who was coming. If this service is no longer available someone definitely needs to take the website down. If this is an actual real repair service, then I can see why Sears is out of business.
A lady came to my house to fix a deep freezer who spent 30 seconds looking at the freezer and 20 minutes making a quote for $1,200. She did not even plug in the freezer . Furthermore The freezer only cost $600 when it was new. When I called to complain they could barely speak English. I was told I would be contacted back About a refund . Needless to say that never happened . It was a waste of $160
Called twice put on hold for 5 plus minutes. Called asked for a manager put on hold said they would transfer me to another dept. Left on hold again. Called again asked for more told her what happened said she would handle it. Called dept gave them what I wanted to order and said she would for sure have them to call me for my order.i bought a craftsman chainsaw, a rechargeable flashlights and a hammered craftsman set of tools. Lost my charging wire. I will think twice before buying craftsman products. Scott smitherman 59 years old.
The guy took my info told me he could get my part shipped within a week then immediately asked for pymnt so I had to ask how much the part was. Luckily I did bc it was more than I had on my CC at the time & ended up finding the part a whole lot cheaper and still brand new!
There is no longer a Sears at this location. It is now a tractor supply.
