We initially loved our pool with Premier, however it is less than 3 years old and all of our coping is coming off and breaking. We contacted the company and they said this is not under warranty and they won’t do anything to fix it. It is going to cost us tons to fix this and every repair company that has looked at it has said this is NOT normal and should not happen in a pool less than 3 years old. Be careful picking Premier you might end up in the same boat as us.

We love our pool and we love Premier, their staff, and crew. The build took a bit longer than expected, but that was due to high demand and the pandemic. Premier saw everything through to completion until we were all satisfied. We receive so many compliments and have been enjoying it all this entire Summer.

Not real happy! My pool was started in October and finished, well almost, in March. It was supposed to be done by Christmas! This company designs great looking pools. But the have no real plans. Almost ever worker that showed up asked us what they were supposed to do. Including electricians, plumbers, roofers, carpenters. I cant get my inspections completed by my MUD because theres no plumbing plan. My waterfall leaks. The punch list of small items has been open for months and nothing gets done unless I call and raised hell. If you decide to use this company, I suggest that you follow every discussion up with an email. Because your project manager will not remember anything.We are 8 months into this project! And still not done.Another piece of advice. Get a loan. There are penalties associated based on time limits. But once that last payment is made.... Good luck. Ill be surprised if they actually post this.

We had our pool built by Premier Pool in 2018. The building part went fairly smoothly. Our pool is barely 3 years old and the spa tiles are falling off. We contacted Premier Pool and were told its not under warranty and nothing they could do to help. We then contacted the owner of Premier Pool and got No response. Has anyone had this happen with their new pool? Please think carefully when choosing your pool company. Make sure they will stand behind their work. It was a BIG investment for us and are so disappointed with how Premier Pool wouldnt come and fix this. I can provide pictures if needed.

After what can only be described as a hellish 8-month project with Premier Pools, I had planned to write a very detailed review of our experience. But I am not going to do that for a few reasons: A, all of the many negative reviews I have seen already cover most of it (lack of supervision, poor project management, lack of customer service, etc.) and B, I am just ready for the nightmare to be over.So I will only cover a few points:First and foremost, we signed our contract in October, 2020 with a planned dig date of early January. Dig actually occurred on January 29, 2021 (After being changed four different times, none of which were we notified. They just didn’t show up). Our contract detailed a 45-90 day (5-day work week) completion period beginning on the dig date. So at the very outside, our pool should have been completed on June 4.The final details were completed on August 31, which is 152 days and almost 7 months to the day from dig. (And to be clear, we never made any changes or alterations to the original pool plan to cause any delays. And to make matters worse, the only reason it got completed even then was because we hired an attorney who sent a demand letter and took care of coordinating and ensuring the work was done.Now, I will say, anyone who sees our pool will say it is absolutely beautiful. And don’t get me wrong, it really is. HOWEVER, there are SO many detail items that were done poorly, things we would never expect for a pool that was in the six-figure range (or honestly, should never be expected at any price point).The last thing I will point out is that we tried so hard to be “the good guys” in all this. Before we hired an attorney, we begged, we pleaded. We even paid for items and completed items ourselves that were included in the original contract to try to move things along. And although we brought these things to Premiere’s attention thinking that surely as an act of customer service and/or at least adhering to the contract, they would attempt to compensate us – it never happened.This was 8 months of tears, anger, frustration, and complete disbelief that should never have happened, and that no one should ever have to endure. Please think twice and read all the reviews before you choose your contractor.

We had our pool designed by Sheldon who gave us a back yard oasis. The process was mostly smooth and was completed as scheduled. I’d just recommend continued and often communication with your pool contractor during the construction process.

We love our finished Pool! The team at Premier Pools were amazing. Ron Turpin created a beautiful layout that maximized our limited space. Even with the unexpected weather and distribution delays, Darrell Thumann and his construction team provided us with an outstanding finished pool! Our family have been enjoying our pool everyday since its completion. Thanks to the PPAS team for a great and wonderful pool building experience for this newbie pool owner.

A great group of people to work with! Very thorough in their quotes. They gave us a lot of options to build the pool to our liking and budget. Love their designs and their attention to detail.

Like many other postings here, our pool is 4 years old. The tile on the spa began to fall off and were told that it was not under warranty. I had to pay another company to come out and retile my spa, our robot vacuum stopped working 2 years after we purchased the pool, and now our Jandy chlorinator has a crack in it.I would not recommend Premier Pools.

This company does not schedule their workload properly. They have not hit a Target date yet. You have to call or text them Several times finally get a response, when they should be updating you. As the customer People pay a lot of money for pools it should not be this frustrating. O and the owner of the company if you get sold and there professionalism he is the least.

Run for the Hills. Unless that is you want to be the superintendent on your own project, have to drive across town and pick up your materials bc they didnt order enough. They didnt even design my pool...I gave them another companies design that I liked. I chose them bc Steven Garcia sold me on him being the buffer and me having a dedicated supervisor on the site at every major step. FYI our supervisor had 28 pools at a time he was working on. How can you give good service like that? They also have rude subs that talk down to you after you call them out for poor quality. My project was supposed to be done in 60/80 workable days. Were now in September and not only is the deck and tile not complete, their sales rep Steven Garcia told me to not contact him anymore that he did his best. FYI hes the owners son in law. The owner is another story altogether. Bill Unger could care less if youre happy. Instead he defends his employees and insults you when you try to complain. I mean I did pay them over 120k according the contract. But they have taken my money and are in breach of contract. So with so many pool builders out there, choose one that actually has good reviews. I should have gone with my gut and believed the reviews. Instead I am sitting here 7.5 months later and dont have the entire thing done. Every project has bumps. But when the owner gas lights you and tells you that youre rude for complaining...that is where it starts and stops. Never ever ever use this company.

We started off like most folks with several pool companies providing designs and pricing and selected Premier Pools and Spa because of the level of commitment and trust we saw in Ron Turpin - a top pool design resource with great ideas to guide you. Tirelessly, he worked several options until we landed on a pretty good design. We were very pleased with his guidance and his friendly and easy to work approach. Additionally, we were fortunate to have a solid construction team. As the project got going, it became evident that quality of work was more important than schedule. Excellent work done by Ron Turpin and team who completed the pool and clean up in just about 3 months – thanks to Premier Pools and Spa we are enjoying our pool now.Kem and Khalida.

Premier just completed our pool. Ron, our salesman/designer did a great job of listening to our wants and needs and making sure it fit within our budget. He really LISTENS! Jimmy/Tim are our construction manager and are very helpful too! Premier Pools & Spas Houston is a great company! We went with them because not only are they a well named company throughout our neighborhood, they also have the best reputation we’ve come across in our area. Kyle will design your backyard into a private resort that you will never want to leave. Paul’s concerns for great customer service and satisfaction is undoubtably one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. The different contractors we’ve met throughout the build speak highly of the company and the company’s work ethics! All construction jobs may experience problems, but the way Premier Pools & Spas work through the problems solidifies why they have one of the highest reputations nationwide. We could have saved money with a company that was cheaper but instead we are satisfied with our decision for choosing a quality pool company! We highly recommend them for any outdoor needs; especially for a high-quality, top-notch pool! More to come!

Called them to come out and quote us for a pool. They transferred me a few times and asked me did I know how much a pool cost? I said yeah I have already gotten one quote and said well we are more expensive then everybody else and gave me a price starting out 25% higher then our other quote. So yeah just skip these people.

Ron did a great design for my family. He’s very knowledgeable and can definitely guide you in the right direction with all your desires and dreams!Thanks Ron!!

So I still do not feel I am being delt with honestly.After having multiple pool designers out and in the end signing a contract with Premier Pools we began the permitting process. We received the homeowners approval and likely will have the city approval any day... BUT this morning we got a call saying oops out auditor will not approve the cost because the discount was too much - cough up another $7500 bucks or we will cancel the contract and keep half of your $1,000 deposit?RUN DO NOT WORK WITH THESE CONS.

We had a fantastic experience with Premier! Our pool is absolutely beautiful and the quality is excellent.

Just last week, I was reminded of their dedication to their customers as I incurred a mechanical issue. Steven, the consummate professional, promptly handled the situation. As a 10 year NFL veteran and Super Bowl Champion I would strongly NOT recommend this company. They started our pool project in November and were told it would be a 8-12 week process, it is half way through March and they are still not complete. If I can ever get someone to response it is always the blame game of being someone else is fault but yet I as the customer has to suffer. They often gave dates as to when workers would be on the job sight for that date to arrive and oh something came up and they move not till the next day but 2 or 3 weeks later!! They do not value their customers which I sad to say as a business because with out your customers you do not have one. My wife and I are very much over this whole process not even upset anymore. Just wouldnt want another family to go through the debacle weve gone through. I would strongly recommend choosing a different company before choosing them.

Although we ultimately decided to utilize a different vendor, Skyler at Premier exemplified true professionalism and industry expertise during our interactions. The people here are kind, courteous, and responsive and I recommend Premier on that alone.

If you are looking to have a pool installed look no farther than Premier Pools Pearland!!! After calling so many pool companies and getting quotes, we were finally happy with every aspect of what premier had told us. They showed up on time and were very professional. Our rep, Ron, was truly amazing!! He spent as much time as needed to explain everything to us and design our dream back yard! He was very knowledgeable and answered the million questions that we had, even offered suggestions! Unfortunately, due to Covid we had to put a halt on our build, but will be building with them once everything settles down!

I usually don’t write reviews but this time felt that I need to share an exceptional service experience I had with Premier for building our new pool and more specificity with Ron Turpin, from sales, who not only planned and created for us an amazing pool design, but was there throughout the whole process (which can be stressful at times) providing support as needed and making sure things and project are on track. He even came personally after the project was already done to make one small finish himself!! Exceptional service, very professional Company and there are not enough words to describe how happy we are with our new pool. Thank you Premier and big thank you, Ron!

I am hopeful that this review saves anyone else from what we experienced with PPAS Houston. The lack of communication and professionalism is remarkable. The superintendent, Gary, literally had a screaming match in the backyard with my landscaper right in front of me. I was fed many lies. The company has all of our money, and yet things are still not completed. Don’t even try to go to Bill Unger, the president. His defensive nature means that everything you have to say falls on deaf ears. I urge you to read the other negative reviews....they are all true. Although the pool turned out beautifully, it was not worth what it took to get there. I will never, ever use PPAS again in the future. Please do your research, and find a company that prioritizes the customer.

This has to be top on the list as far as worst communication from any company I have ever dealt with especially when considering the incredible amount of money we paid them. We still have issues they haven’t fixed and they finished in early December and here we are mid-March and they won’t respond. We should have known from the very beginning when dealing with the designer when he kept telling us he’d do something and then not follow through starting with not ever filing the paperwork with the HOA after saying he’d be on the phone with them every day until they got approval. After three months of getting the run around about the dig date we finally emailed and told them nevermind and we’d just eat the deposit we had already paid them. It must have been a “miracle” because suddenly they had us on the schedule to start the dig on Monday (this was a Friday). They emailed back telling us that and we didn’t reply because honestly I had no reason to even believe that, but they showed up Monday morning so we decided to go ahead. Overall the pool is nice but there were and STILL are problems. They messed up the wall which they fixed, then they messed up placement of the waterfalls which they fixed, but now the coping isn’t flush like it was when they put it on before fixing the plumbing placement for the waterfalls so I see that every time I look out the window. They only put one of the two bubblers on because one was broken and we were told they’d replace that right away. That was over three months ago of course I still only have one bubbler. The decking guys broke a trim piece on our house where they obvious “half-assed” it and never said a word and the cool decking cracked in one small area within days of being put down and still isn’t fixed. The automatic water flow messed up and didn’t stop putting water in the pool which put our water bill $80 more than it should have been. The project manager did stop by and fixed that but now it won’t even come on when it needs water so I have to put the water hose in there and watch it to make sure it doesn’t overflow. I finally got fed up of being told it would be fixed and never hearing back as it’s been over 3 months so I called the office and talked to the general manager who said he’d find out what was going on and get right back with me. That was A WEEK AGO and, of course, he never called back. Do yourself a favor and go with someone who actually takes customer service seriously as it’s beyond obvious that Premier does not. I’m still waiting…

We just finished our second pool build and this time we used Premier Pools over another smaller company that built our first pool. I do not normally post reviews but our pool turned out to be even more gorgeous than I dreamed it would be so I wanted to share a review bc I know as a customer-there are so many options when building a pool and you don’t know who to go with. Our pool is like a work of art. We had a fantastic pool designer, Ron Turpin, that helped bring my dreams of what we wanted in our second pool to a reality. He was kind, courteous, professional and very easy to work with. He even added his professional experience to customize the back privacy wall and make it curvy bc he thought that would look better than what I initially told him I was looking for. It is a drop dead gorgeous pool. My husband and I agree that our pool designer, Ron Turpin, hit a homerun out of the park! This pool exceeds our expectations. Something else to add that sets Premier apart from other builders is the equipment. From doing this before and building a pool with a different pool company at our old home, we got bottom of the line equipment and saw a steep increase in our electric bill. I can happily say that we went w top of the line pool equipment and pumps with Premier and we did the research. Can you believe my electric bill only increased by $20 the first month we had the pool and it went DOWN by $20 during the second month!! The upgraded equipment made a HUGE difference in energy efficiency and running the pool. Look no further than Premier for a top of the line pool package that not only looks beautiful, but runs efficiently. We have got compliments from every one that walks by our house and comes over. Thank you Ron and thanks to Premier. We are happy customers and will continue to refer our friends and family to Ron and Premier Pools and Spas!

Couldnt leave a 3.5 stars but rating is due to delays in the project. We worked with Premier Pools and Spas (PPAS) (spring) location for our new pool build in 2020. 2020 was a very difficult year for everyone and caused major delays in the building of our pool. Our pool took approximately 4.5 months from dig to 100% completion due to COVID, rework and a few weather delays. PPAS personnel were good to work with. Our project manager Wes and Belinda the scheduler were pleasant to work with and helpful in getting any issues and questions sorted out. If it wasnt for the delays we would have given PPAS a higher rating. All in all they did everything they said they would do and made things right by giving us a few freebies. The management team spoke with us several times on the phone and corrected the issues that came up. Word of the wise, be a micro manager and be on top of the work being done. Things get missed and you will need to point them out.

PREMIER PPOLS AND SPAS, Spring location, did a great job building our pool and decking. We had a few delays due to COVID but they always under promised and over delivered. A shout out to Gary and Dora for always answering my never ending list of questions.I would recommend PPAS to anyone wanting a pool. 5 StarsWe had a patio built as well, that will be in a separate review😀

Tried to contact this pool company 3 times. Sent our specific survey/plot to try and get something going. No response. They are not responsive and give you a run around when you call. “That’s not my area” and “The salesman will get in touch with you.” Never interacted with a company that was so unresponsive when it came to making a big sale.

I always wanted a pool and finally pulled the trigger. When doing so, I wasnt sure what company to go to. I researched a ton! Out of all the pool companies I narrowed it down to 3. I had every one of them come to my house and tell me about their company and design me a pool. Ron Turpin at PPAS was the best person to go with because of his friendly and knowledgeable nature and he also designed me the best looking pool! The design was spot on and I didnt make any changes. It was perfect! PPAS was able to get my pool done in time for my birthday party and it was a huge hit. I recommended Ron Turpin and PPAS to my brother-in-law and my neighbor. Both of them are also getting their pools from Ron Turpin and PPAS now! It has been a fun ride, but glad it is over because my family and friends get to enjoy our amazing pool!

Horrible experience worst ever I gave the green light in December of 2020 i was told 6-8 weeks by the sales person then 8-12 weeks by the supervisor It is now almost June and my backyard is still a major mess They are THE worst Find another company Dont make the same mistake I made I am giving this company one star only because there is nothing lower

The salesmen that came to our house claiming that he had over 10 years of experience it sure didn’t show. This pool company makes all this money and sends poor quality contractors who take absolutely no pride in their work. The plumber was caught sleeping on the job they left pieces of pipe in the front yard after leaving for the day. Trash was left daily by various workers and was left scattered throughout the yard. The workers never picked up their work trash either. It was left thrown at the side of the pool or left inside the pool once the cement was laid which then scattered around the yard and continued to get rained on. This pool company lacks professionalism if I’m paying for a pool I shouldn’t have to call and ask when they’re sending workers out. They gave a 60 day timeframe and took no effort in speeding up the process they used 60 days plus to finish the pool. The sod that I paid $800 for was dead and just enough to cover the front and a patch in the backyard. And rather than offer to pay for THEIR mistake it now was our problem to cover the rest of the yard. The fence on the back gate they used to enter in and out of the yard was broken and didn’t offer to stain the wood that was used. The sidewalk that they built is crooked and uneven. They broke the concrete that was used for the drain and left it thrown in the flower beds. Rebar was left sticking out of the pool. They removed a tree and left a huge mound of dirt same with the mounds of dirt around the pool and the sides of the house. The pool was supposed to be at least 6 feet deep and it’s not even 5.5 feet deep. The pool is stained on the inside with what looks like dirt. I paid $2500 for a fence around the pool what I paid for is not what I received. I asked for a black fence and what was installed was brown mesh that looks cheap. The mesh was asked to be installed as close to the poles as possible it’s far from it, uneven and crooked and the floor was also damaged. The pool company did not call and state that they would not come and finish the pool until paid in full I had to call and ask why no workers were showing up. No one called or to check how the pool was coming along or to ask about the customers satisfaction with the pool. They take their sweet time and send terrible contractors and expect you to pay for poor quality work.

These folks did a great job! Jeff walked us through the process and patiently answered many, many questions! Javier was our construction manager- he was awesome! Belinda was in charge of scheduling and behind the scenes flow- I loved her! We now have a beautiful pool that we picked out and have spent most of the summer in!

Responsiveness with Premier Pools and Spas was terrible. Mathew Unger came by and he said he would do our pool remodel. He also promised a quote a week later. Well over a week passed, and I had to text him about the quote, but no response. I reached Mr Garcia who was the sales manager and he informed me that they don’t do remodels. So I was upset and finally, Unger quickly wrote up a quote and texted it to me. The quote was outrageous and I believe they didn’t want my business in the first place. My experience with Premier Pools and Spas was the miscommunication and their professionalism which was terrible.

So far enjoying pool. A few little glitches but fixed it right away. Now working on landscape ourselves to enhance look. Recommend this company.

By far one of the better experiences Ive had hiring a contractor. They were quick to show up to my house and provided my wife and I with a 3D rendering of what our pool would look like.Steven Garcia was very helpful in keeping the project on-time and on-schedule. He promised that we would be swimming by labor day and he was right. Thanks Premier.

Choosing the right pool company is hard, We started our search for our pool company and met with multiple designers. We chose Premier Pools as they were one of the only companies to take their time and explain the process to us. Steve Unger sat with us and walked us through all of our options and helped us design the perfect pool for our family. Throughout the construction process Steve stayed in touch with us and helped us with any questions or concerns that we had. Even when we had a few bumps during the build, Steve and the Premier team were there to make sure it was all correct and up to our standards. All in all the quality and workmanship that went into what we have is next to none. We are proud of our pool and enjoy it as much as possible with the family. Premier did an amazing job on our design. And then they took the design and made it in real life. We get so many compliments and we just wanted to say thank you for such a wonderful job.

Excellent customer service and builds good quality pools. Had a pump issue well beyond the warranty and they were (in my case) able to help be resolve on a quick notice and in a very short time!

I watched a friend go through hell with this company.

The quality of their work is excellent but their communication between their scheduler and foreman are terrible which relates to the customer not being informed.
