Alexander is the absolute best! I drive all the way from 45 minutes away (in westchester) to get haircuts from him. He is great with my 3 and 5 year old sons as well. They look forward to their haircuts and lollipops afterwards. He’s the best barber around!

There’s nobody better in the area then Alex. You get a quality cut (or beard trim/shape up), he’s quick and super friendly. I’ve been going to Alex for 4 years and just took my 1 year old for his first haircut. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my sons first haircut.Don’t waste your time going to anyone else.

Me and all by boys travel to Alex about 20 minutes each time to get haircuts from him. We always leave with great haircuts. Super chill guy, does a great job. Make sure to get an appointment online and enjoys a great cut!

I used to go to Stan’s barbershop but he was really rude and talked way too much about people when he shouldn’t have. I used to go to Pete’s but there were way too many barbers working at the same time and I couldnt get anyone consistent (no disrespect to the man Pete). Then my friend recommended me to get a gucci fade from Alexander... ever since that day almost 5 years ago I have refused to go to a different barbershop even when I needed a haircut so badly. Not only is Alex the best barber ever, but he only hires the best to work along his side. His main side kick is Sean, if any man wants a great haircut they should but all their trust in Alex, Sean, and any other barbers that Alex trusts in enough to satisfy his customers! In Manhattan, a haircut from these guys would be triple the price!

Alex gave me a fantastic cut and shave. The man is an artist that knows his craft and is confident he will make you look your best. Definitely one of the best cuts I’ve had since moving to northern NJ and I will definitely be going back.

These guys are masters of their craft.decently priced and the guys are always funny and friendly. Always a happy customer when they finish the cut. I travel a bunch but when I am in Pearl River its my go to place for cuts!

The absolute worse haircut I ever got.I went in with a middle fade blended with the top and asked the barber (40-50 years old with black curly thinning hair, I think alexander) to just shape it up with a middle fade and blend the top with the sides. He immediately takes a 2 guard and buzzed from the bottom to the top part of my hair completely disconnecting the sides from the top (exactly what I told him not to do and even showed him a picture). He then proceeded to leave one side of my hair very long and the other side of my top very short which is a completely ridiculous way to cut hair as it only allows you to comb over every single time.It is extremely frustrating to enter a barbershop request a specific style and even show a picture and have him do the exact opposite of what she wanted. Either the guy has absolutely no skills cutting hair ( which is for sure because the haircut he did is awful) AND he did not listen to my request whatsoever even with a picture.My hair is now ruined for weeks/months because it so Uneven from right to left and I literally work a hat all weekend.......If you are between the ages of 15-50 AVOID this place at all costs and try a different barbershop in the area where they have younger barber is that understand today’s styles and will actually listen hopefully. Embarrassing place and barber skills.
