Our two boys have been attending classes for about 2 years now. What we love about Bruce McCorrys is the family atmosphere, and the very high instructor to student ratio. The turnover of both students and instructors is very low, so it feels like a family rather than a YMCA class or town sports team. Its not uncommon to see six instructors even on a slow day with 10 kids, and the instructors are long-time veterans, many in the school since they were kids. Our kids love the physical games they play, the wide variety of snacks they provide, and they always have a smile when theyre training. Both kids also love the summer program, lots of field trips and fun physical games, and having training every day really advanced their skill level.With martial arts the number of choices of schools can be overwhelming, but we feel Bruce McCorrys is the best combination of family feel, fun, but also discipline - the kids are very well behaved, they run a tight ship, and dont allow fooling around. Our six year old talks about one day joining the demo team and being an instructor. Its the kind of place your kids will want to be a part of for many years to come.

My child’s worked with Master McCorry’s team since last year. They’re a fantastic organization, working closely with each student to develop their skills, coordination, and fitness.They’re taking the current COVID requirements seriously, cleaning between each class and making everyone spread out along with offering online sessions. My child absolutely loves going!

My daughter has been attending Bruce McCorrys Martial arts for 1.5 years. She now attends their after school program which has been a wonderful experience. This practice has helped her with discipline, respect, focus, and friendship. The staff at Bruce McCorrys is fantastic. They build our childrens confidence and self-esteem. This day in age, its so important to instill our little girls with self esteem and if needed, self defense.

Both my son and daughter have been training there for over 6 years. The instructors are all excellent! Under Sandra and Master McCorrys tuteledge theyre being taught invaluable lessons in self defense, motivation, character and discipline. I couldnt be happier with the results.

I have had the pleasure of going to Bruce McCorrys Martial Arts. First, my son, who earned his black belt. My daughter and I joined, she moved towards her black belt and I did the same while taking Kickboxing classes. 9 wonderful years of great workouts and instruction, and a great family experience to be able to go and have my kids in the other room learning as well. A great place all around.

My kids have been attending Bruce McCorrys martial arts for the last 7 years. They have made new friends and learned a lot. They have respect, patience. They have the knowledge and know how to defend themselves, especially since they are both girls. The students are watched closely. The summer camp program is a lot of fun as well. There are still classes but the kids have fun. They go on field trips and enjoy themselves. Bruce and Sandra work very hard at making this a success as do the employees they hire. Most of the employees are former students.

They staff, the programs offered and the difference McCorrys makes in a childs life is top notch! The school is very accommodating, and does their absolute best with communication. My son started in the Little Ninja program at just under 4 years old. We suspected he had focus issues, and thought this would help. Hes still going strong after 3 years, and LOVES it. He has made some great friends, and has learned self-confidence and focus. I cant say enough good things about them! Wonderful place, and truly care about the children and their development.

This studio Is a wonderful way to build confidence and discipline, my son who is 9 has Tourettes syndrome and his confidence has boosted since he started. My 7 year old daughter goes and she has a lot of anxiety and shyness, she has come out of her shell just by doing Taekwondo, she loves learning new forms and her favorite is sparring.I myself was a member of Bruce MCcorrys Martial arts as a child and loved it, I decided that when my oldest daughter was interested that she was to be trained here and she loved it as well. I highly recommend this studio!

We just moved to the area after living in Africa for four years. We found the school online and were immediately struck by a video in which a woman who was disabled shared how she received her black belt. The emphasis was on helping each person challenge themselves, not on competition. Sandra and Bruce took our daughter under their wing, helping her transition from the Tae Kwon Do she had been learning to a more American version. Their attention to her has also really helped her in transitioning to the States. And since I was waiting in the lobby during her classes, Sandra encouraged me to take a kick-boxing class that coincided with her class. It was something completely new for me. I felt out of place the first day, but within five minutes Sandra made me feel completely welcomed and in the know. The class was full of people whod been taking the class for years and others who were brand new. Within two weeks, I started noticing great results in my strength and tone. I highly recommend Bruce McCorry, Sandra and their team.

Sometimes my daughter will teach me the exercises that she has learned at Bruce McCorrys.Now my daughter is in first grade with homework almost every evening. The staff helps her with her homework before her daily Taekwondo class, so that her homework is done by the time I pick her up from Bruce McCorrys, which is a big, big help. If school gets out early, the staff at Bruce McCorrys picks the kids up from school early and watches the kids. If there is a snow day or a holiday, Bruce McCorrys will watch them for several hours as well. My daughter loved the summer camp at Bruce McCorrys and she cant wait to attend this year.Excellent, excellent program! It is one of the best programs in the area!

Praying Mantis Kung Fu is one of the greatest gifts you can give to your body and mind. Gain Balance, Strength and Confidence. Master McCorry certainly gives us a workout. Everyone at this school is kind and supportive. The pace is what you make it, If you have limitations or are not in the best shape, you are encouraged to go slow. The great wall wasnt built in a day: it was built brick by brick over time. So too will be your physical ability.The Kung Fu class if filled with a truly amazing group of individuals.
