I got my car ceramic coated at Dans Auto Body at the beginning of November. I had heard many good things about Dans in various car groups, and the experience I had with them proves that the rave reviews are well earned. They are very professional, honest and they take the time to explain the entire process that is involved so you feel comfortable leaving your vehicle in their hands.When I showed up I had just owned the car for about a month. When I picked up my car from the dealership they had run it through their shop to have the car detailed before I drove it away. Unfortunately, they did a complete hack job. Swirls covered the entire surface and put a bad taste in my mouth any time I saw the car in direct sunlight. I brought my car in to Dans first for consultation regarding getting paint correction and possibly a ceramic coat. They went above and beyond and drove my car into the shop and demonstrated the paint correction on a panel to show me the expected results. I was sold and ended up paying for the full ceramic coating, which included a 2-step paint correction. After doing a quick search online I found that the price for their opti-coat service was competitive, and with their excellent service it was well worth it.After about 2 weeks they had me back in to do a maintenance wash and show me the proper way to care for the car and the coating, leaving no doubts about how to keep the paint surface looking as clean as possible into the future. It is now January and I just completed another basic hand wash of the car (shown in photos) and am blown away by the gloss that is left behind and the simplicity of washing with the coating.

Dans is the best auto body shop on the North Shore. I highly recommend them from both a personal and professional standpoint. My Mercedes was handled with extreme care and caution and was given a fresh paint job as well as full interior detail for free. In addition, they made the process simple for me dealing with my insurance directly and getting me set up with a rental car and treating me with such kindness. I’d like to shoutout Dan and Ed for their professionalism and work ethic, and I’d like to shout out Catie for being on top of paperwork and alerts for me as a customer. I was recommended Dan’s auto body to fix my car that got hit in the front when someone backed up, and i couldn’t be happier with the results. they fixed my hood, front bumper and little rackets inside the car. i don’t know if they did polished my tires/ rims or if it was still polished from the last time i did it, but if it was them, they did an amazing job! everybody was super friendly and professional. i spoke on the phone with Katie and she made sure everything from insurance to questions to estimate dates etc. was always answered. i was always calling to make sure everything was okay with the car and she definitely made me feel at ease where i left my car. 10/10 would totally recommend!! will definitely be returning here!!!

Dan’s was great at communicating the progress of my repair. I had a few parts that were on national back order and they were very quick to send me updates through the whole process. Eventually they were able to get the part and I had my car back to me in quick time! Also love the instagram updates they post!

3.5 years ago I had some paint repairs done at Dan’s Auto Body due to vandalism.This past June I decided to stop by and get a quote done on some side skirts I had purchased. Also have them look at my drivers side A pillar which had rust bubbles forming from a improper repair they had done from the vandalism. I had spoken with Ed who was professional. I gave him my insurance information and he took pictures of the paint. I called the next day to follow up and was told by the receptionist that Ed was not in and would have him call me. I never received a call, voicemail or email.Yesterday (12/1) I had called and explained the issue. I stopped by after work. Unfortunately Dan had gone home for the day. Ed offered to come to my job the next day with Dan to have him look at my car, as I work fairly close to them. They never came, I didn’t receive a call saying they were not coming and no follow up was done from Dan’s Auto Body.

My husband brought his explorer for some repairs to the rear end of his car. The car was done in a week and they also took care of an issue he was having with the sensors in the rear. Katie in the office was absolutely amazing and kept us updated and took care of any and every question we had.

One of the best Auto Detailing shops in the world! Joanne and Katie who i talked to on the phone were both super nice and always had an answer to my questions. Sent me reminders about my appointment and when the time came all i did was drop it off and they took care of the rest! They worked on my 2018 Honda Accord and it came out looking like a whole different car. The paint match i needed on some parts was ON POINT with the color of my vehicle that you would think it came factory. I also had a body kit installed and and the fitment was great, they even sanded down some parts of the kit to get it nice and flush with the vehicle. After that i knew i wasnt done, i came back for a blackout on my vehicle and everything went from chrome to black or gloss black. You wouldnt even be able to tell that their was chrome on the car, thats how good it was. The paint or film they did the blackout with is great quality and doesnt seem like it will come off anytime soon. Overall, one of the best customer services Ive had, and the work they perform speaks for itself.

Another incredible experience from Dans Autobody. I dropped off my new to me Porsche Macan S for a paintless dent removal, ceramic coating, and PPF. They brought the cars paint back to life as if it was just coming off the show room floor again. Dan and his team have once again lived up to their own standard with incredible work.

I am quite happy with the work done on my cars rear-end. I was rear-ended, so I brought my car to Dans Auto Body for repairs. I had only heard good things about their work, so my expectations were a little high. But they exceeded them. Joanna was wondering to talk to and was extremely helpful. She helped me get the paperwork and insurance companies straightened out and squared away, which, in my eyes, is huge. The work on my car was done quick and Joanna kept me up-to-date on the progress.Additionally, I enjoyed that they detailed the whole car, too. Other places would have maybe vacuumed a bit. Best auto shop experience! I blew a tire, looked up closest shop to get my car towed to and saw their great reviews. I called and they took my car in right away. I talked with David, he was so friendly and helpful. They fixed my car front bumper and helped put a donut on within the half hour of bringing my car in so that I was able to get to work the next morning. Ordered me a new tire right away. I brought my car in a couple days later when I was able to, and they put it on at no additional charge.Dan’s Auto shop was so welcoming, kind, honest, fair and eager to help when I wasn’t even a customer of theirs yet. Also, was very safe about CO-VID with everyone wearing masks and being 6 feet away distance at all times. They made a stressful situation much more bearable. Dans Auto Body is hands down an EXCELLENT Auto Body Shop! I chose this place mainly for two reasons. First reason was a good friend of mine told me how good they were in terms at attention to detail, overall professional, and he showed me pictures on their website of all the custom work they did. You could tell they love what they do. The second reason was they were listed on my insurance companys list as a Certified Approved Auto Body shop. This meant life time warranty on their job they performed that any potential issues I would be backed up by my insurance company if I was not happy with their work. Trust me that will not happen with this company. The day I dropped my vehicle off for repairs they asked me how I wanted communicate with them Phone, Text, or Email. I choose email because that worked best for me in my line of work. They updated me with detailed progress reports and pictures through out the entire process. This was the best part of their organized process. They made me a part of the repair where I could communicate with them as they sent me pictures of the progress. One of the repair items I was concerned with was whether or not painting the scratched side rail would stick since they come from the factory powered coated. They easily addressed my concerns by just having the entire rail replaced with a brand new one. They said it probably cost the same to just replace the rail then have them prepare and paint it. I know they would have made more money painting it rather then replacing it, but they were more concerned about making me happy. Heres the best part... the new OEM Toyota side rails are sold as a pair. He let me know that this was the case and asked if I wanted to replace the undamaged side just so they both look brand new. He didnt even charge me to do that. Just amazing! Since the truck has a very unique color called Inferno Red, they ended up painting the entire ride side of the vehicle just to make sure that the paint matched 100%. A lot of other places would have just blended in the paint since the damage was really only on one door. They are perfectionist! They are very honest too. Finally their honesty topped it all. The day my truck was finished and I went to pick up it was delivered to me like it was Detailed by a professional. The truck was shining bright and the interior was vacuumed and cleaned. The owner Dan didnt just hand me the keys inside his office and point to where my vehicle was, he took time to walk me out and go over again the entire repair to make sure I was happy. Here is what he did that I know no other body shop would have done. He opened the door and showed me a plastic grommet that allows the wires from the doors power window and lock switches to run through and told me they accidentally broke it when they were putting the door back together. I kept looking at it and I said...where is it broken? It looks fine to me. He said We temporarily glued it, but I dont operate like that I am honest with my work and since we broke it I ordered you a brand new one which will come with all new wire connections too. That just said it all. Everything was perfect. You will not be disappointed!

I got my black 2018 Ford F-150 4dr paint corrected and ceramic coated (opti-coat) at Dan’s and I can say I could not be happier, they also removed all the dents and did some body work on the trunk lid which came out flawless! I just wanna thank the whole team for all the time and effort spent now my truck looks brand new! Definitely recommend.

I’ve brought two cars here. First time years ago was excellent to be fair. Recently they did some repairs for me and I’ll refrain from adjectives, stick to the facts and let people decide what to call it. They missed every dead line they set, they’d set one, miss it, move it to a later date, miss it again. Repeatedly. Customer service was never updating me when these deadlines would come and go. One time I called they left me on speaker or something by accident I could hear one of the employees talking bad about me behind my back thinking I couldn’t hear...I was given some excuse about it after I told them I heard it. The owner was happy to greet me and do my estimate immediately the day I brought the car and after that I never heard from him despite all the mishaps. Once the car was supposed to be done I took it home, had issues brought it back they had it for two more weeks even though I never knew they intended to keep it beyond the same day, again total lack of communication. They billed me for recond wheels which never showed up so they put on OEMs I was also billed for they told me they’d send the recond ones back and refund me. Months later this has never happened....idk what happened in the years since I brought my last car there. I assume this was just a bad one-off for them but I’ll never do more work there. The quality was fine. Everything else ...well u decide based off the facts here.

I was looking for a professional body shop that specializes in custom wrap body work. Found out about Dans Auto body from richrebuilds Instagram page. The people there are very nice, knowledgeable and professional. They excell in every project they do. Thanks Dans Auto!

Used this shop to have some roof damage repaired and it was the worst experience I have ever had with a body shop. Truck was there for 9 weeks and jus sat for several of those weeks. I was told false completion times on several occasions. Once I did get the vehicle back my headrest was burned headliner was ripped, visor clips all broken, horrible detail job, parts not secured properly. Had to ultimately bring the truck back to have all those things fixed, which took another 2 weeks and it still wasnt done right. Found my liftgate harness plug held in place with silicone because they destroyed the clip. I contacted Dan and got no response to my problem, I was completely ignored. I wouldnt recommend this shop to anyone unless you just dont care about the vehicle that youve paid your hard money for. Never again lesson learned.

Had Dans auto body install my aero catch hood latches on my carbon fiber hood. Let me tell u they knocked it out of the park. Cant thank Dan and David enough for there great work. Highly recommend them and would definitely use them in the future.

Last year I had my the wheels painted black on my BMW. One of them peeled a little I brought it back and they took care of it no questions asked. They even touched up my other wheels as a courtesy. I had them do a full details while they had it. Which came out great car looked new. Interior they did an amazing job!

I brought my car in due to a collision. I honestly cannot believe I got the same car back; it looks so much better than it ever has before! I cant stop taking pics and looking at it. _I trusted the outstanding reviews... Brought the car here for a fender bender and 2 doors repair. They removed every single part all around the damage areas to address for unseen additional damage._1st, they could never put them back right. Missing rivets, Backward aero mud flap, uneven gaps between body panels. Front bumper and fender were aftermarket with poor fitment. I had to send pictures to have parts replaced correctly._2nd time, my door could never unlocked/locked, Tulley BMW reviewed and wrote a statement stating bodyshop has disassembled, repainted, and did not reassemble correctly. Tulley invoiced $1400 repair bill and voided my factory warranty for the mentioned components. (I brought this up to BMW corporate but they also refused to provide any aid for same reason mentioned)._3rd time, they took my for another week to address the door issue. I noticed my milage racking up via BMW phone app, location service was also turned off (unknow reason)._4th time, I told them please give the car back, I no longer had time for back and ford like this. My rental limit has also ended at this point, almost 2 months, I went from one rental to another rental. The door lock was never fixed.At the end, I guess they are not worth the hype and my - 5 minutes away - local bodyshop probably could have done the same job. May be cars will never be the same once they have had an accident. That, my expectation was too high from Dan. I dont know. If Dan paid a little more attention to detail and got it done right first time ago, I would be a much happier customer.Sorry for being dissapointed but I am disappointed. For those reading reviews, dont take my words for it. I still have all the 1st fitment pictures and statement from Tulley BMW.2/13/21, I changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars. You did spend time to respond and did re-do the repairs, except for the door lock. Due to trust issue, it was my decision not to leave the car with you any longer. Certainly not worth a 5 stars bodyshop and of course should not be a 1 star.

Everyone at Dans autobody was professional and friendly every step of the way. I had frequent updates left over voicemail for me because I work night shift, which was very helpful for me to keep up to date with my cars progress. I was also able to follow them on Instagram where they post videos often of what they are doing in the shop that day and most days my car was featured which was really cool to be able to watch. That’s something most shops don’t do, which makes them special. They made my car look brand new and even, at my request, fixed a hood notch shave that was previously done poorly by a different shop. If I could give this shop negative stars I would. My Lexus sat there for 4 months and when I had it dropped off, there were more issues than before they touched it. Their new manager Dave dropped the ball, and caused me more headaches than you can imagine. I just got the car back today for the 2nd time and there are MORE issues. Now my car will not lock via door controls or remote. None of my windows work from the drivers side control, and somehow my windows roll down when folding in the driver side mirror. Dave told me they had nothing to do with why my windows and sunroof open and close randomly. This car was pristine before they took it in and did insurance work for a driver side collision. Dave spent more time explaining how he owns a body shop in Florida, and how many Show Cars they have built that have won first place. I cannot and would not recommend Dans Auto Body to ANYONE. Now I am left to fix these electrical issues one my own dime. I wouldnt let these guys work on a bicycle let alone a motor vehicle. Theyre suppose to be a one stop shop for insurance claims and custom work. Now theyre going to hearing from my lawyer. Good job Dans Auto Body, I will never Trust the process or recommend you to anyone in the future. Make sure you think twice before using these guys, they play by shady rules and clearly do not care about the customer. Thanks again Dans Auto Body, you are not the shop you think you are.

I came in with cracked carbon fiber fender and unfortunately took too long to be able to get it taken care of by the manufacturer. Called them here and they took a look at the fenders and told me the had the experience and knowledge to make these look brand new!After having it for a week, the fender came out flawless. Dans Auto Body came through for me on several occasions with both my current and previously owned car. Dan and his team provided excellent service with a window tinting and a repair on both vehicles. I’ve gone to Dan’s for the big things. The latest was a new front bumper and a special film to protect my investment. Two days after I took delivery, I noticed there was a gap on one side of the headlight and bumper. I took it back and showed them. No arguing, no pressure. They took it and adjusted the headlight (which was the cause of the issue even before they got involved). No need to return at a later date, or pay for the extra work. Some could argue “they should have noticed from the installation process”. The lines on the bumper and hood where aligned perfectly. Honestly, the gap was really hard to see, but I was not happy about it. But be a good, respectful client and they will bend backwards for you. Something else worth mentioning. Prior to my delivery, I got a call saying the car was going to be ready in the next hour. I got dropped off and it wasn’t close to being ready. Dan went to find out what was going on and not shying away or coming up with some random excuse, he took responsibility and apologized. Understanding my position, he handed me his car keys so that I could go take care of business.No place is perfect and people who give five stars are usually exaggerating. We were treated professionally from the first call to Dans. Our vehicle was struck while parked, so the other party was 100% at fault. Dans helped us through the whole process dealing with the other partys insurance, car rental, estimate and claim. The repairs on our vehicle were excellent! Beautiful job! Absolutely Great experience from Dans autobody. They were extremely accommodating and were able to repair/ paint my AG wheels in 1 DAY!! I live in the south shore of Randolph but I travel the hour and some change because these guys are the BEST in the business. They also dipped my old TL and also did a great job on that. These guys are great and deserve all the praise they receive.

I was driving around with duck tape on my trunk due to latch being broken. Dan ordered the part ahead of time and i was in and out in 2 hours with a working latch and he even removed the tape and residue off my trunk. Great customer service and just friendly people.

I found Dan’s Autobody by google search and due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews decided to take my car there for repairs. It was close to home and not far off the highway. Ed took a look at my car for an estimate to see if I could pay out of pocket but when it was too much I went through insurance. The process was seamless. I dropped my car on a Wednesday and they told me it would be done the following Friday. Enterprise brought a rental right down for me. All throughout the repair work they kept in touch with text updates and as promised the car was ready the following Friday which shouldn’t be taken for granted given how estimates almost always go over. GMC parts were hard to get due to a strike however they were able to get them promptly from a dealer. The staff were all nice and pleasant to speak with. The work came out beautiful and they cleaned the inside of my car. It looks flawless and brand new upon pickup. I would not hesitate to go back to Dan’s for autobody needs and I would happily recommend them to friends and family.

These guys definitely exceeded expectations. I decided to set some money aside to make some modifications to the front end of my stock GMC Sierra. I bought a new grill, new headlights and fog lights and I wanted to see about getting much of the front end blacked out. The team was in regular progress about the job and when I arrived to pick up the truck I almost didnt recognize it. The work was AWESOME. I couldnt be happier. Im now in the process of planning some additional work at Dans. The team is super committed to a positive customer experience and the quality of their work is outstanding.

Dans Auto Body exceeded my expectations and made the process of having my car repaired extremely easy. Dan and Loraya were very friendly and professional. They kept me updated on the progress of the repairs, and always returned calls within minutes. They assisted with getting me a rental, and even handled the return of the rental when my car was ready. The repairs were done in a timely matter, and everything was finished right on schedule.The actual repair quality was excellent, it looked great. I would never be able to tell my car was rear-ended. The car was also cleaned inside and out, and Dan even cleaned a foggy headlight, and fixed a squeaky door hinge that was not part of the repair. My car is in better condition after Dans Auto Body work than it was before my accident! Dans skill and attention to detail, along with his great customer service makes this one of the best auto body shops in the North Shore.I would recommend Dans to anyone looking for professional repairs and friendly service.

The service and product combo was a two step paint correction and Opti-coat Pro. When I contacted them to redeem the service, Joana was excited to get me scheduled and see what they could do for me.Ill be the first to admit that my car really needed some paint and clear coat help. In addition to this, other services were recommended to me (clear coat on headlights and vinyl over fog lights), really great recommendations that I went ahead with.After following their work on Instagram, I was so excited to get back into my vehicle. The end result was amazing, the car looks better than it did when it was brand new. Dans did a wonderful job, and the attention to detail is obvious. My experience with Dan was awesome. I didnt just drop off my car and get forgotten like some shops. I had a full color change vinyl wrap, Dan spent some time with me to find what met my needs and budget and was receptive and reasonable when I requested some last minute changes, which I am grateful for as I know that complicates their schedule.They really came through on time and on budget. I have dealt with shops who dont follow through so Im glad I found this place and will absolutely recommend them to friends.Very professional service and awesome attention to detail. Brought my car in for some body work after it was keyed and I got T-boned. I have gone to so many body shops in the past. Dans is by far the best!!!! The best customer service and body work. My car is beautiful and in perfect condition thanks to them!! I will not go any where else anymore !!!

Id like to start off by saying that the customer service is fantastic at Dans Auto Body. Throughout the whole process of my insurance claim they were in touch with me, giving me honest assessments of the situation. While I didnt end up getting any work done (insurance totaled my car on their supplemental appraisal) I would bring my car back in a heartbeat.It felt like a place Id been going for years the way I was treated, even though it was my first time. Seeing the custom work he has done as well, I would have no hesitation getting any repairs done with them.

Its an auto body shop but what a personable bunch of employees. Did a great job on my car on two separate occasions. Second time my car needed some body work and they did a fantastic job. Had some serious hail damage from the last hail storm back in August 2015 and after getting the work done on my car looked better coming out than prior to the storm.Also repaired a part of my car around the windshield that prior to the repair had a hole on the post due to the former owner having a light installed on it. Again did the work and it came out better than when it went in.They will help set up a rental for you so when you do drop off your car a rental agent with a vehicle will pick you up and take you to the rental place to fill out the rental agreement.Extraordinarily polite and accessible.Update February 2021 and July 2021 I was rear ended on centennial drive in peabody. Sent my car back to them twice. They did a great job replacing the bumper in addition to some rear hatch work.

I got my side mirror replaced at Dans Auto Repair. The repair was done flawlessly and the customer service was good at well! The cost seemed reasonable, although I have never had auto body work done before so Im not sure about that.

Not only is this place in a great location, right off the highway, but man do they do great work! My car had some dings in it that I was putting off forever and I finally brought it here and they did not disappoint. Had my car cleaned and looked brand new not a scratch in sight.
