I was told by others that there are lots of amazing donors and great organizations that could help with my crisis situation [being recently displaced from my rv home with my five children and five dogs] but when i revealed to the saint vincent de paul worker that i had five dogs i was treated like i was crazy for asking for help. that is an absurd judgement to make and then to deny a single mom and five children assistance. leaving us to sleep outside.
