This post office also charges you again for postage if the mailman doesnt leave your package the first time. Recharging postage twice is total ripoff. Better make sure you are home when the mailman comes or you paying postage a second time.
If I could leave zero stars I would. I had a manager just call, told me I am the one at fault for a insufficient address when I was trying to contact them along with the sender to take care of it. I am the receiver not the sender. The sender for this package tried for hours to get it fixed for them not to fix it.The manager at this location needs to learn how to treat people over place blame especially when both myself and the sender was trying to contact them to be disconnected on multiple occasions. Even waited on extensive waits to try and get it covered. Finally I the sender was informed it would be delivered tomorrow for the manager to call 30mins later and tell me it was my fault when I was the sender. This is the first time weve ever experienced a package going back to sender immediately over them giving people time to correct it.Honestly, we need better people who can difuse frustrations NOT place blame where it wasnt needed.I will be calling again til I get a actual name on this manager. Unprofessional and never had such horrible service until today when over helping be a jerk placing blame and over giving information to report he left the phone down and on. Not okay Unprofessional.
We live in a brand new home development with wonky addresses and so I understand that they may get the address wrong here and there, that’s just the curse of new builds however I was kind of worried as read these reviews while my package was lost. It said it was delivered in my parcel locker and wasn’t. I called the post office directly and spoke to a man and but he met me at my mail box not even 5 minutes later and found my package in a box with an address almost identical to mine. It takes great service to drop what you are doing and meet someone 5 minutes later and he said they would make a note of it and make sure it doesn’t happen again, which is all I could ask for because mistakes happen and people willing to help is what matters!
So just watched this Post office have an Audit by the AP and Watchman . Philip handled them with total kindness and professionalism . This should be used as an example of how to react to filming in public . No reaction is perfect . Great job Payson Post Office and Philip the mailman !! ❤️
Even with COVID Ive never waited long in line. The service is spot on and Im always greeted with a smile.
We have lived within payson post office limits for about 6 months now and have repeatedly had mail misplaced, lost, or given to others. not only packages but letters, others in the same neighborhood have said the same thing. not sure what the problem is but its a problem for me when things cost money and seller and post office are pointing fingers at each other I end up eating the cost of the item when I got nothing in the mail.
They blamed Amazon because my order arrived in Payson and they didnt pull it out of the bin. It got shipped on to another post office and the guy at the desk was completely unwilling to contact the other post office and have them hold it for me. It would have been nice if they would have at least tried to help but instead they didnt take any responsibility for it and passed the blame on to Amazon.
Respectful and respect the constitution.
Ron, the postmaster treated us with no respect, sarcasm, and zero professionalism. He did not want to fix the mistakes him and his employees had clearly made.If I could give them 0 stars, I would. He truly undermined our situation.
One star purely for the way that Ron conducts himself. He has been very rude to me and my wife. There are two sides to every story, but in this situation he is completely belligerent and rude. Glad to see I’m not alone with this problem. I expect more from the USPS and hope they can find a better person for such an important job.
I’d give -5 stars if I could. This location has lost several of our packages. Tracking numbers will state the packages were delivered in our locked mailbox. Yet there are no packages in the mailbox. When we call to ask where our packages are, we are told it was delivered and there is nothing they will do about it.These are bought and paid for goods that are disappearing regularly. This is completely unacceptable!! I will from now on pay extra no matter the cost to not ship goods via USPS. THEY ARE A COMPLETE JOKE!Edit- I just got off the phone with the Payson Postmaster Ron, he told me there is nothing they can do about the latest lost package and eventually hung up on me because he had other customers that need attention.
Had a great experience. The supervisor was very helpful and actually cares. She met me at my neighborhood mail boxes to change my lock since my key wasnt working. She even helped w/ finding a missing package.
Had an employee demand an apology from my mother for complaining about a damaged package and call her a liar multiple times. Horrible service! However the ladies Ive dealt with inside the office have always been very helpful and pleasant!
Whoever delivers to Eversage must be drunk, we constantly get the wrong mail in our box every month and this is the 4th time a package was delivered and we got nothing.
Theres an employee there, the one in the brown beard, whos the most racist person Ive ever come into contact with. He kept yelling at a Hispanic gentleman that he cant help him so get out of here. This was after being incredibly rude to a fellow employee and insulting her. Ive never had a pleasant interaction with him. He flat out lied to my wife when she went to make a very easy transaction and he had the gall to hypocritically accuse her off all kinds of stuff despite the fact that his anger issues started the whole confrontation. He yelled first. Its amazing hes still working there as hes been in training for over a year now. He is always unprofessional and condescending to every customer that is unfortunate enough to walk in when hes on shift. I expect obvious racism like this in the South, but apparently it abounds at the Payson post office.Luckily, the Salem post office isnt far.
It seems this Post Office has forgotten their age old unofficial motto:Neither rain, nor snow, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed roundsThen again, it doesnt say ANYTHING about their ATTITUDE while doing this labor.I must admit, tis not The Dedicated Carriers of whom this review is posted. But their master and chief, Ron. Ron, the postmaster, has an air of condescension that left my jaw on the ground. I hope to never have to speak with this human again. And I use the term human loosely.Fortunately I was able to conduct most of my business with the more amicable employees. This ONE STAR is no reflection on them. Solely Ron.
Always nice and friendly. Not nearly as busy as our last post office so that’s nice. And the clerks are much nicer here too.
Ron, the postmaster is undeniably a racist! That has been my experience Ron. After seeing the previous reviews, this is confirmed. Someone should look into his actions against law abiding citizens.
We moved here last November. Ive noticed we get skipped with mail delivery frequently. I do like to get the local store ads and coupons, but our mail carrier doesnt think it is important enough to deliver them to us on a routine as they should be. One week mail was only delivered three times. I conducted a mail check by mailing myself post cards every day for six days. Of course the mail was delivered then, because I wrote on the post cards that I was doing a mail carrier check. Youd think that was the end of the problem. Then the carrier left me a note telling me to keep the area around the mailbox clear. Our business neighbor had placed palettes in front of the box, causing the mail carrier to have to get out of the vehicle to delver the mail. It was a big deal to get him to move the palettes, even though he should not have put them there in the first place. But he moved them, and now the mail carrier is still skipping our service. We watch our other business neighbor get their mail, and then the carrier doesnt bother to come to the end of our street to deliver ours on a day that we know we should be getting mail. As Veterans, we appreciate when tax payer money is paid for government employee salaries who do their job. A mail carrier who frequently skips mail delivery is NOT honoring the job they hold, and NOT making proper use of the American tax payers money. I will be filing a formal complaint with USPS if the situation does not change IMMEDIATELY. We have put up with bad service long enough.
I wish I could give them no stars but this will have to do. Lack people skills and are easy to shut a person down while they are talking. Very rude it’s disappointing that every time I’m in the post office the workers are just extremely rude. One man I spoke to today was treating me like an idiot and didn’t even want to help me find my package. He made every excuse he could to avoid helping me. I’ve had better customer at Walmart which is saying something.
If Only i could give negative stars, please google give me that option!! They are the very definition of rude. This is our version of Californias DMV. They spoke to me us as if we where begging for scraps please learn customer service!
When I go in person the workers are great. BUT! No one picks up the phone! I have a package stuck in a box designated to a key they gave me and it is jammed. Ive been calling all morning to report this but no one is answering and I do not want my package stolen.
I have had to wait a while sometimes to get stamps, send off packages, etc. Otherwise, Ive had nothing but professional and courteous service from everyone at this location, including Ron, the general manager. Seems to be a lot of hate thrown his way in these reviews, but I havent personally witnessed ANY explanation for that. Perhaps Im mistaken, but thats my two cents.
Very friendly, hard working people AND are always willing to help their customers in need🥀😢
Witnessed the PM verbally assault an elderly widow woman that was telling another employee that it looked like someone had taken a screwdriver to the box she was trying to get into, to retrieve a package, so that they could fix it for the next person, as she was walking away Ngoc R Mendell yelled at her to stop Damaging their equipment and he didnt even know what the whole story was about, embarrassing the poor woman to tears and then yells for the next person in line to come forward....he never did say he was sorry to her, hes got the personality of a Cactus, I would say even a bit of the Little Man Syndrome, they should keep him in the back room and only let him out to shovel snow or take out the garbage, Ive seen nothing but ignorance and hostilities from this person, as have others, why is he still there?
Its pretty sad when someone else has to do the United States Post Offices job for them in finding where they put MY package. It only took me a week past its delivery date to find it. Based on phone calls throughout the week, I personally do not believe anyone put forth any effort to look (outside of looking up the tracking number).
Needed help with a change of address. Called and called and finally someone answered and had me talk to the manger I was treated so veryrudely with no answers to my questions. Decided to go to the post office and talk to the manger in person because I needed to figure out my problem and he was even more rude in person with no guidance or help, so very unprofessional and horrible customer service. He should be fired!!!!!!
Ron the postmaster was rude when i called about not being able to get into my mailbox, then told me I would need to come into the post office and hung up on me via phone. Ron was so ignorant and has no people skills! I hope i never have to speak with him again.
Made me send letters with 2 pages in them as packages.
They mark package as delivered but then don’t deliver them. Either a bunch of idiots or they’re stealing my packages.
Very helpful, friendly, and efficient.
Well Ill agree with the previous review...they never answer their phone. All I get was a busy signal...until I posted this review (thus the edit).Trish picked up and helped find my package and it should be on its way.
They do not answer their phone at all and when you go in there is no one to help at all. They do not have near enough help. There are no more machines to buy stamps. It is a mess in there. You wait in line no matter what time of day.
I just move here ELK RIDGE two month in new house, deliver mail man already compain two time .too many snow by mail box . now no snow they dont want get out the car put the mail in the mail box .if anyone dont want to work just go home .if you work dont forgot who you are.....
Man who “helped” me this morning was a complete jerk. Poor customer service.
Just built a house here in Payson, really need to figure out our mail situation and our mailbox but no one answers the phone!!!
Learn how to ring a doorbell.
This place is horrible I hate getting my mail there the older gentleman is rude and lies no one answers the phone not even worth rating one star.
