I think that instead of having a cloth, which holds more bacteria, it would be most effective if disposable alcohol wipes were provided for the members to clean the equipment. I think it would help maintain a clean environment for everyone.

I have never been to this gym but Im planning on starting a membership there soon. I have one question though. Can I pay for the monthly membership in cash? Im 15 and dont have a card.

I cant say enough good things about Payson Total Fitness. Reasonable prices. Not too crowded. Friendly staff. Even when I needed to cancel my membership they were so easy to deal with. Very different than some other gym in the area that gives you the run around. A+ cant recommend them enough.

PTF is by far the best gym I’ve ever been to! They have tons of equipment, different areas for dumbbells and free weights, I never feel like I’m waiting on someone to move off a machine, tons of treadmills and stair climbers too. Celeste is always so sweet and always has been willing to work with me and my husband on our memberships. Love love love this gym! Would recommend to all my friends and family!

No frills gym in Payson. Price is right, and place is always clean. My family has been going here for about two years.

Love this place. Friendly staff, clean and well organized equipment and facilities, TONS of classes, and free WiFi that ACTUALLY WORK. A few days after joining, I contacted them via email with a few questions and had a response in less than half an hour. GREAT!Ill be renewing my membership for years to come.

Just to start. This is a very good gym to be a member at. The employees are very friendly and personable. The owners are great. Here are the questions of the day. Did you sign a contract? I am guessing you probably did. Did you read the contract you signed? I am guessing you probably did not. I have a membership there. I know if I have to cancel it needs a 10 day notice. I also signed the contract that I would pay. You signed a contract that you would agree to pay. If you are late you still owe that money. If you did not want to go anymore you should have canceled 10 day before you were due. If you buy a car or house or even rent an apartment you sign a contract that you will pay. If you are late you still have to pay. It sounds like to me you need to put your big boy or girl pants on and be an adult. On another note. It is pretty sad you have to set up a fake Facebook account to give a bad review. Especially when you are in the wrong. Enjoy Benjamin Burgener (AKA Clark Man). 😉

GYM like a GYM it is wonderful, but need more surveillance, I used to go exercise my body, take a shower and return home. But one day some guy come out from Shower room and I come in, when I was almost ready to take a shower second guy was in side the water heater room. What they was making two men inside the bathroom? I don’t know. I make a complain but they never identifying the young men who went in the bathroom because they don’t have enough cameras and I stop coming to the GYM. Also the system to let them know you are not coming back to the GYM 10 days before your cycle finish it it is a pain in the butt. They send me a collection just for 30 dollars. Because I was too busy to go and pay one month.

Not pleased at all. Charged $60+ just to sign up and ended up not even going to the gym. Asked to cancel and no one answered the phones finally left a message and they got back with me the next day and said I needed a 10 day notice and theres nothing they can do. They had trouble with my membership card and didnt have it working when I signed up and now Ill be paying $80+ for nothing. I feel I was pretty scammed on this one. Be careful.

Payson Total Fitness is the best gym I have ever been to. It is ALWAYS clean and the equipment is never rundown or not working. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable on different workout routines. There is a class for all fitness levels. The owners are very personable and make themselves available throughout most of the day. This company has the worst customer service I have ever worked with. They apparently preach that they have to abide by strict policy, and argue over nickles and dimes just to follow policy as opposed to building relationships with customers that want to return. They are similar in their policies to Golds Gym, and you know what happened to that gym after millions of law suites. I wanted to take a leave for the winter, was planning on coming back in the spring. I didnt let them know until a week past my payment. They would not waive the month fee ($25) as to it was policy: and they need to stay in business. If they are going out of business because of my $25, it should speak miles about the type of company they are. They will nickle and dime you, turn you away and pay cheap brainless workers to work there. Stay away from this company. It is worth paying a little gas money to go up to Spanish fork to attend VASA. Yes.. even cheap old VASA is better then this place. STAY AWAY!

Its a good gym, lots of options for the machines. The treadmills dont climb to 12 mph, they stay about 10.5.

No hassle month to month membership, plenty of weights and cardio machines, clean and well maintained with both functional fitness area and traditional weight lifting space.

The older lady with long hair was busy gossiping while I was trying to pay for a day pass. The owner, sitting across them had to redirect her attention towards me and she didnt until she finished her story. Worst costumer service ever. There is a woman there with very short hair who makes me feel welcome n the reason why I would even fathom attending that gym ever again

Small gym but theyve got what you need and its not packed like Vasa so badly you cant do what you want. Some equipment needs updated like all the cardio stuff. Its very old. But the gym is clean and staff is friendly so I like it more than Vasa

This place is great! Its very clean (& coming from a clean freak I know clean). The equipment is awesome. I love the treadmills and elipticals. I also love the variety of classes they offer, the teachers are amazing and so friendly & they always have great ideas on new/ different things to try. I go 4-6 days a week and it is getting more crowded, but I still have never had to wait to do anything that I want to do! Ive tried all the gyms in the Payson, Salem, and Spanish Fork area, but have found this one to be by far the best! Guess you could say Im a P.T.Fr for life!!

I have been a member at PTF for four months .I left Vasa gym for lots of reasons. #1 all of the hidden fees .#2 After two years of going to Vasa the workers did not know who I was. Vasa employees were not personable at all. It Seemed like all the employees cared more about themselves then the members .Anytime I ever needed help they were bugged that I was interrupting the conversation between employees about their weekend hook ups .I have only been at Payson Total fitness for four months and it feels like Im family .They say good morning to me by my name andThe gym is superclean.They make me feel like Im important.Its super sad That people get upset about things like this .Obviously I dont know the people that made this comment .But The truth is thatNo matter what you do, you can never make angry people happy .You can never change someones emotions unless they want to .Someone decides to get angry over a contract that they signed is silly.Im not being rude at all but why would you get frustrated about policies that you signed a contract for.Payson total fitness is by far the best gym I have ever been to .Employees and the owners are super cool .It doesnt matter where you are on your journey to becoming healthier & better you .They treat you the same and care about your goals.

I transfered over from a commercial gym because I needed 24 hour access and less crowds! I am in LOVE.(Side note) I went to the commercial gyms for the cheaper price but for only $20 a month you get soooo much more then the commercial gyms can offer.Not only is there no one here when I come (early early morning) its actually open and there is a LOT of cross training equipment for someone wanting to dabble in crossfit style workouts. Ill be here as long as I live in payson.

Amazing Gym with friendly staff!!!

This gym is easily the BEST gym in UT county. Its month to month memberships for only around 20$ a person. Ive lifted at EVERY gym in UT county and you just cant beat it. Its open 24 hours which NO gym with reasonable equipment can compete with. Im a competitive powerlifter and they provide all the necessary equipment for ALL types of training including bodybuilding, crossfit, general fitness, etc. Why would you go anywhere else!?If your thinking of joining VASA instead think again. 6 months before the late Golds Gym went out of business they started promoting their $10/month memberships. Since their normal pricing was between $35-60 (depending on privileges) LOTS of people joined. Once VASA bought out Golds, ALL customers were trapped in the new VASA contracts. This overpopulated gym (VASA) reaks of dishonesty and Id much rather be part of a locally owned gym who I can trust with my bank account.Payson Total Fitness has been good to me and Im impressed more every day with all the hard work they have been putting into making their gym an experience youll never forget.
