Even with a reservation...there was no car available. No one bothered to call and let us know. After an hour drive to pick up car....their resolution was non existent.

Made a call for a day rental, talked about a price for a car at $192. Agree to a $200 deposit.Get a call back moments later, told there was a mistake and the rental jumps $28. They cant do anything about it. The computer wont let them make any adjustments. They cant honor the price we discussed on the phone. Ask to speak with a manager. They send us to the website instead to see that the price is fixed. Of course the price is fixed. We as customers cant bypass the system to get the price we discussed. Im just upset that they would not honor the price we discussed on the phone. They wont own the mistake, be it man or machine. So if you do business you may have to pay for errors on their end.

I don’t want to even give them a one star. Worst customer service!! Sarah reserved me a Nissan Roque and gave a quote of $192 with our AAA discount. 2 minutes later she calls me back and said there was a glitch in the computer and the price is $30 more. I asked her to honor the quote that she gave us and she said no it was not her fault. I asked to speak to the manager and she keeps me on hold for five minutes and when she gets back on the manager told her to tell us to go on the website to look at the prices. Are you kidding me?? BAD MANAGER AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Great job todayThanks to the woman who helped my wife with the car rental. I booked online and the online car was not available when my wife showed up. The lady went above and beyond to do the best she could. She found a acceptable car for her. My wife said it reminded her of what a small town is all about. Thanks!!

The young lady at the desk was not trained in how to provide any customer service. When she told me she had a car for me (a Toyota 4Runner) and i corrected her and said that was an SUV she stated that she would no longer help me and that i was being rude. The fact is, her reaction was more about her and not about me at all. She needs to find a non-custmer service job that she is able to be a snowflake.

We had amazing support and care from the staff here on getting us a replacement vehicle after discovering the car we rented from Thrifty in Phoenix had not only a nail in the tires, but treadwear below safety levels, and bent rims. Unlike the Thrifty phone rep who wanted us to drive the car back to Phoenix, the Hertz staff in Payson assured us in no way would they want to be liable for being in an unsafe car. We are not sure how they managed to find a vehicle as they were out, but they did. I doubt I will rent from any other company from now on.

This place is unreal I reserved a car, when I went to pick it up I was told we dont have a car for you the car you were suppose to get was in a fender bender, well I already had rooms reserved so I lost the money on my room for 2 nights . I was very upset . Maybe they should keep a back up car or maybe they could of called me,I did have to bum a ride.just saying very poor service with a additude problem
