Tom spent so much of his time and effort to resolve the issue which he did successfully saving my sister a trip to the mechanic shop. He went over and beyond in resolving the problem. Always used the Valvoline in Rochelle Park with never any problems. My oil light was flashing and extremely low on a Sunday. I took a chance on the Valvoline in Paterson Rt 20. Pulled in at 3:50 and knew this was a mistake. Was one car being serviced and looked like one employee. Waited patiently for 10 minutes outside before he pulled me in. Told me to open hood and walked away. Knew this wasn’t going to be good. Waited another 10 minutes patiently and never came back to our car. Now I’m there over 20 minutes and another car pulls in. He asked the gentlemen to open the hood. Checks his headlights, directionals, and starts to service his car. I rolled down the window and asked what’s going on. He says be patient there’s only two employees. I asked, “where’s the other employee?” Other employee comes out of nowhere and starts tending to my vehicle. A: doesn’t check tire pressure. B: doesn’t check headlights or directionals. C: doesn’t top off wiper fluid. D: we spent over an hour for absolutely no reason. This Valvoline gets 1 star for the worst experience ever on a Sunday afternoon. Makes me never want to use the Valvoline service ever again. Total ripoff and should absolutely be closed down. Buyers beware!!!!!

I was referred to valvoline by a close friend. She raved on & on how this place was so good. I went there & I can honestly say they by far surpassed any place Ive had change my oil. They were patient, explained what they were doing. They also checked my lights and fluids making sure they were filled. They were courteous professional and phenomenal and at a very reasonable price. I will always go there from now own. Im a satisfied customer for life!!!!

I am very late with this review because Im due for another oil change already. The young men that work there are incredible. Their manners are impeccable, they check EVERYTHING and speak to you explicitly explaining any problems. I like the way you sit in your car as you wait. I bring work and can keep busy as they work. TARIK was the BEST!! He was kind, thorough, and worked fast.I called to see if he still worked there and got corporate. RIC answered the phone and was VERY polite and casual. He confirmed my information and that was the end of that. He assured me if I needed any assistance to never hesitate to call.You cant help but smile when you drive up there because it will be reciprocated with smiles, information, good direction and positive energy.MANAGEMENT - Its holiday time. Buy these men lunch...and DONT forget RIC.

Valvoline always does a great job. They do a thorough check on a variety of auto aspects such as fluids and filters. They are set up to get the oil change done quickly and while the customer is sitting in the car. As with any company, they will push sales. So, often they will leave selling points for getting a better type of oil, purchasing filter replacements, or getting tires swapped. While this is understandable, it sometimes makes the experience awkward. Managers often come across sounding like if you dont do everything they recommend, your car will fall apart tomorrow. However, they are always efficient and quick for an oil change (plus, they usually leave you with a couple air fresheners, and that never hurts). This location maintained the good experiences that Im used to from other Valvolines, so they will definitely have my business again.

I usually go when my mechanic is very busy and I dont have time to wait. A couple of $$ higher, but my time is precious. When I go my oil change is done quick and efficient.

Ive been going to this location for years now, Ive brought every company and personal vehicle here. I must say up until today I had been completely satisfied. Never had an issue, until one of their employees decided to drip oil down the side of my engine and didnt let me know. So as im driving off down the road, all of a sudden my cabin begins to fill with smoke and the smell of burning oil. I immediately returned to the Valvoline location to notify the manager, He offered to hose it down but I couldnt do it, it just would have made an already bad situation worse. If you dont know, water and oil dont mix and I was already furious at the circumstance. I then proceeded to take my truck to a place where they do engine steam cleaning and spent an additional $150.00 on top of the $115.00 I reluctantly spent at Valvoline. ( they usually give me a break on the price with my coupon but not today for some reason. Something about management) Your coupon isnt welcome here today! So needless to say Im off this spot, they wont be getting anymore business from me!

Visited date was 7/28/2017The customer service was standard at best. Price for oil change service was about industry average. Time to complete service was terrible other customers arrived and left before my vehicle was even finished (They claim the delay had to do with an under vehicle shield that had to be removed to perform the service) ok fine understandable. However the workmanship (The reason I will never return to this location) After the oil change had been completed the under vehicle technician performing the oil change service failed to reinstall all fasteners on the under vehicle shield causing the shield to fall down while driving home from work. I then had to tow the vehicle back home as it was not drivable do to the shield hanging down onto the roadway and being scraped up and would have destroyed it if I continued to drive the vehicle. Upon calling the facility that performed the work. I was told they would order generic fasteners to reattach my shield with no mention of the bolts that are missing as well. I was told I would be called when they arrived. This is a 2016 vehicle with very low mileage and was only the second oil change performed on the vehicle. I performed the first one at home in my driveway which at the time all bolts and fasteners were present and accounted for. I chose Valvoline for there price and reputation of doing professional work. I also chose to bring the vehicle somewhere for the oil change as I did not wish to lay on the ground again to perform another oil change service on my vehicle. I do not want generic replacements I want the original factory clips and bolts like it was before they left them out. Not to mention who is reimbursing me for the $123.00 I had to pay the towing company just to get my vehicle home with out causing it further damage. I will be purchasing from Hyundai the factory pieces that are missing and will be submitting a bill to Valvoline for the tow parts and labor to install said parts to correctly fasten the under car shield back onto the vehicle.STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION SHOTTY WORK

I called prior to getting to this place and asked how much to get a synthetic oil change done,and I was told that it would be $35.However,upon arrival to the place,I was told that it was $75 to get a synthetic oil change done,and I said ok, and left.Never have I ever paid this much to get an oil change done.

Ive been coming here for many years with different vihicles for an oil chance never one the employees were disrespectful at all BUT until today that I got service by a new employee that was NOT supervised at all and took 38 min for my oil change. Once it was done I was not to sure if that employee did a great job so my husband got out the car and check, the store manager Albert Abraham, got super upset because he was supervising his work when he never once came over to supervise his new employee that by the way he took it very offensive because the girl is either is daughter or wife who knows BUT definitely related. I called cooperate office waiting for the branch manager to call me. This store manager dont have any education what so ever he even said he dont even care if we return for an oil change now what type of store manager will say that when you need all the customers you can to get a pay check.To the rest of the employees on that location PATERSON please show you store manager how to treat and speak to your costumers.

I went to change the oil the first thing was too long, after they changed the oil they left a loose protective cover, they just put two screws and could not drive on the highway because it was metal, I do not recommend they are unprofessional.

Do not bring your car here not even 15 minutes from leaving and my car shuts off like 4 times and check engine light turns on nothing i mean nothing was wrong with my car before this oil change none of the lights were on the dashboard. If this isn’t resolved I will be getting a lawyer involved. I need a full refund for this and more if my vehicle requires to be checked by a professional mechanic.
