I walked into the shop with my MacBook Pro not charging. Rich was able to diagnose my issue and give me a solution to my problem within minutes. He went above and beyond my expectations. Even recovering my files for work on a flash drive minutes before my computer screen shut off for the last time. Came in to Tech Boys in Patchogue, looking for a pretty complicated RGB build. I spoke to Rich on the phone and we set up a game plan.. of which I completely deviated from and went overboard. Regardless, once I brought in all of the parts, they went right to work. You absolutely get what you pay for. I went to them because building with RGB is way over my head and they absolutely exceeded my expectations.Jessie was who I spent a lot of time talking to and going over stuff with during the building process. This guy is the absolute best. Awesome person and the work he did was incredible. He listened to and accommodated all of my ideas and everything. These guys are great and will really take care of you.If you need something done with a computer, particularly a computer build, then absolutely go here. I have found Tech boys in Patchogue to be competent, honest and reasonable. Back in November my computer acquired a serious virus so Rich wiped and reinstalled my HP software. Since that time I have returned with a variety of smaller often unrelated questions. Because of my advanced age I have a lot of questions. He always patiently takes the time and has not charged me anything since the original problem. Very generous I would say.

The owner of the shop pointed to Rich in Tech Boys Patchoque that he recommended may do the work. Rich said it was something new to try and gave it a go. Rich is Awesome!! The Bell rotary phone rings, takes and receives calls. I appreciate the experience and the outcome of something that was special to me it was well worth the journey.

Went down here to get my CPU fan installed after having a lot of trouble getting it on. They got it installed in no time and did an excellent job.Everyone was nice and they had a good selection of parts to buy! Would come again.

I have received a negative attitude from the workers multiple times and I know others who have gone here and have had a similar experience. They lied about the damage on my screen and tried to convince and up sell me over $100. Overall, poor attitude and poor service. I have been meaning to leave this review for a while. These guys are actually amazing - they are real, genuine people who genuinely care about your satisfaction as a customer. I damaged the screen on my Macbook Pro and waited ages to get it fixed, knowing it was going to cost a pretty penny. When I brought it into to Tech Boys, Rich confirmed the high price tag on the part. His repair fee was incredibly reasonable for a pretty in depth job. He was very professional and communicative and had my computer back to me in record time. I feel really good about recommending them. Super experience.

Not worth the money. Spent $160 dollars fixing the screen on my iPhoneX just for it to turn fully black & stop working 3 weeks later. Then when I go back to the store & ask if the “guarantee”, they claim they have, covers this; they insist that I must of sat on it or dropped it without knowing. So the guarantee is therefore not valid. Do yourself a favor and go to an ifixscreen instead at least their work will last you a while.

Shattered my glass on my iphone. They repaired it, but it still wasnt working right. They guarantee there work for 60 days, so after 3 weeks I stopped in and explained the issue. The owner is professional and I have to say, after being in customer service all my life, I work for the # 1 customer service airline, he went far and above which is hard to find these days!!! I HIGHLY recommend this business, workmanship and service!

I was in a jam with online college, my current mac book couldnt support what I needed for online classes. When I went to the corporate stores for an all in one PC, the prices were very high in my opinion for what I was going to get out of the all in one PCs specifications. I found Tech Boys online, and so glad I did. He was able to build me a PC capable of school and gaming ( I am a gamer and had a long talk about that aspect of my PC ) for an agreeable price. I have had my PC for about 4 months now and I am still above and beyond happy with what he was able to build me for the price. I will always go back here to upgrade my PC. The owner is very knowledgeable and experienced, and told me he personally preferers building great PCs for people, and he proves it.

Worked with me, put 60 down they called me back 2 days later and said your screen is here? Was amazing to see it was half the phone, half an hour later my phone was brand new again except for my charging problem which they overnight my charging part and said its going to be 20$ Next day my phone was Better than when I bought it 2yrs ago! Had to fix a laptop computer screen (non touch). The price was very reasonable. The service was extremely fast. The part had to be ordered but even that only took a day. And the techs were friendly and patient. Before you replace a tech item, consider an upgrade or repair.

I was pretty sure my phone was ready for the trash but these guys had all the parts in stock to get it back going for a very fair price. 10/10 service and great people.

Theyre way too expensive. I went there last year to find out if there was a way to transfer my info from one phone to another. My old phone couldnt charge because the phone USB pin was broken. When I went in they were rude & didnt really want to help me. I got very angry & told them if they didnt want to help me to just tell me, dont walk away & ignore me. The attitude changed & one of them came back to the desk & asked the other 2 guys if they had any ideas. They figured out how I could charge the battery, put it back in the phone, & transfer my stuff from one phone to the other. They sold me this battery charger, for $25+. Afterwards I found out I couldve gotten it for less then $10 on Amazon. The place is dreary, messy, & the first time I went there, their prices were so outrageous I just said thanks & left. I really needed to get the info from my phone this last time, & I can tell you it was absolutely the last time Ill go there. Theyre rude, I wouldnt want to leave my phone with them, not helpful, ripoff artists.

Rich and his staff are miracle workers! I own a small prop rental company and took Rich several remote control Rose Props for Beauty and the Beast that I built 10 years ago. We rent them quite often and they werent working well any more. Rich searched and located some old parts to fix them, so I could get out some immediate rentals. However, he wizely suggested we rebuild them with new technology. Now, they work amazingly well! My clients are really happy and so am I. I bring all my tech repairs to him. I was @ Tech Boys in Patchogue on Tuesday 11/21/17 and I thought I was going to cry when I arrived with my phone which had reset by itself, froze and was very hot. I use my phone for my self employed work and has very important information on it and cant live without whats on it like so many others out there. The technicians where amazing! These guys are the BEST! I mean that, my dell xps desktop, i use for work...one day it booted up with only a black screen and white cursor. I went to geek squad, they couldnt help me out and another company, they couldnt help either. Built a custom PC and it wouldnt boot so I brought it to these guys and they were able to fix it for me very quickly. Rich the owner walked me through what I did wrong and installed Windows 10 as well.When I went to go pick it up (dropped it off Saturday and was able to pick it up in the afternoon on Monday cause they are closed on Sundays) Jesse and Noel walked me through what they installed and everything. When I brought it back to my house I had 0 troubles starting it up. Works like a charm.Excellent customer service and overall everyone who works here is very knowledgeable. These guys are the absolute best!!!!! I had cracked my screen just before leaving for my honeymoon. I couldnt see the screen at all and my volume suddenly stopped working as well. Not only did the fix my phone, they fixed it after the store had been closed. They really went that extra mile, were being courteous and very fast while giving me more than I had went in for. If i could give 10 stars i would! I had a problem and Rich had the solution, fast and at a great price! I had a broken laptop screen for my HP Elite x2 and RIch stated it was going to be difficult to find the part and get it repaired fast. However, after he did a little digging he found the part and it arrived faster than we botrh anticipated. When i came in to have the work done he stated that it could be a few hours. I ran to Staples to grab some other items i needed and within 45 minutes Rich called me to advise thast the computer was repaired and for me to come back in. AMAZING !! I dropped off my laptop 8 days ago having paid over $300 for a service that the guys said they could easily perform. After looking at my laptop the guys said they could wipe out everything and install Windows 10. I received a call yesterday (one week from the day I dropped it off) from Anthony who now tells me he cannot get windows 10 on the laptop and my only options are windows 7 or 8.1, I reluctantly agree to windows 7. I was told I would be refunded for the Windows 10 software and my laptop would be done today. I will update this review after I get my laptop back. So far.....extremely unhappy.

Rich was very accommodating and professional. They managed to pull all the data off of my very dead, salt water logged, iPhone 6. On top of that, once I had a replacement, they restored it to have all my data and I walked out of there with a carbon copy (data wise) of my pre-damaged phone. Highly recommend these magicians!
