I am a customer from last year, I get a rental for $20 a day; was an special deal, but the service with Liz is always excellent, I have to call when I need a luxury rental, but she prepared everything for me, and gets always something better, I rent a Land Rover, a Jeep Wrangler, an equinox, a Nissan rouge, a Chevy Malibu, a Jaguar. I am so happy and my friends too

My experience was wonderful and painless. Liz and the other lady were knowledgeable and friendly. My rental was beautiful. They even brought me back home as I had no one to drive me back. My only complaint is that they close at 1pm on Saturdays and off on Sundays but I would definitely recommend them and/or use them again for my next rental need.

Why all the bad reviews? I had an awesome rental experience at this location! Liz and Meghan were accommodating, cordial, and made me want to come back for more. The vehicle was prepared for my arrival as scheduled, and ready to roll. If I need to get a rental for any reason again, I will surely be back.

I was in an accident and had a car reserved for me through Insurance. I was approved for a car to be dropped off, we had correspondence and then they never showed and stopped answering my messaged.

HORRIFIC customer service. I suggest you use anyone but them. Their staff was rude and unhelpful.

Thank you to Stephanie and the Hertz team for a truly stellar experience yesterday: we were running late back in time to make our ferry. Stephanie not only quickly helped fix an error Id made when refilling the car with gas, but also had someone standing by ready to drive us to the ferry. We made it just in time after some incredible driving, and the Hertz team really went above and beyond to ensure that our great experience didnt just begin and end with the car, but making sure our entire trip went smoothly. The location at JFK was nice. The Patchogue, NY lollpnp location looked pretty getto. Both locations had good staff.The only problem was Hertz closed its airport location at Macarthur Airport. I had to return my car a day early and rent one that had an airport return. Hertz cooperative and drove me to pick the new carol

Staff were curtious. Rental vehicle had an inoperable radio.

They NEVER answer the phone and when they do Desiree is the rudest person I have ever spoken to. They over charged me my deposit by $150 and then said there was no way of refunding it mid rental. Im sorry Desiree easy solution un rent it and then re rent it or is that asking you to do too much. You Have A Blessed Day as well....we ALL know what that really means. I have filed a complaint with Corporate as well. The car they gave me was.filthy and needs brakes as well...🤦‍♀️

Very patient and the young guy was cool and helpful short vanilla guy. Your alright man. Thanks for your help. My foot was hurting that day.

Am not sure how this place stay on business, very hard to get someone on the line.I had an issue when they charged me rental instead of getting from my car dealer (when car was in shop). Myself and car dealer trying to contact them to get a response, very hard to get a person on line, finally got someone who said will look into but no response after. This is crazy

Upgraded me no extra charge!

My car was being fixed at the dealership so the dealership arraigned for me to pick up a rent-a-car at this location. I got the car no problem. A week later I started getting automated calls from corporate that my car is overdue I must call immediately. I call this location and talk to someone they tell me they are with a customer but as soon as they are done they will extend my contract. The next day I start getting calls from corporate again. I call Patchogue again and I am told I’m with a customer call me back in 20-30 minutes, I call back and am told I’m in the lot moving cars call me back, I call back and am told I’m getting a car an oil change call me back.I finally pick my car up at the dealership and leave my car at the dealership November 27. Now on December 2 I’m getting automated calls that my car is overdue and has to be returned immediately. I call the Patchogue branch and am told oh I’m sorry I have a customer I can’t look into it right now. I have never had such poor customer service. I will never use this branch ever again. Stick with enterprise.

Worst car rental place. They are all rude and they never answer the phone. I called every 10 mines for 4 hours and not once did someone pick up. You make a reservation online to come in to be told we have no cars. Or they give you a car that is falling apart. At least with enterprises they call you to Confirm Your online reservation. I will never use hertz again. And Wil never suggestion Them to a friend. As I read all the reviews idk how this place is still in busy. It’s a joke I’m mad I had to even give then one start to make this review.

The manager desire martyn was the rudest and unhelpful person. She was obviously withdrawing from heroin. She had scabs on her face and looked like she hadnt showered in a week.I cant believe Hertz doesnt drug test drug test. She actually started crying that she has to go.I lost my reservation and had to go to enterprise

Desire is rude unprofessional wont let customers request other staff to deal with.. she never renews rental over phone when you call and she says she will.. snobby

Stephanie is amazing she went above and beyond to get me in car that I requested at a different branch of Hertz not only did she make it happen she was enthusiastic and made my whole day after being on the phone all day trying to find me my requested vehicle thank you again stephanie I would give 10 stars if I could !

I dont have many words to share about this Hertz location because, luckily, I barely had to interact with anyone! I dont mean that in a mean way, but as a praise to their convenient and useful services.After a car accident, I was set up by the perpetrators insurance with a rental while I had my own vehicle repaired. I chose this Hertz location because of its close proximity to the shop I chose, Bayport Auto Body.After booking the time and date, I dropped off my car at the shop and a Hertz employee picked me up and took me to the store. After taking down some information and making an initial deposit from my card, I was out before 30 minutes had passed — that includes the drive.Once my car was repaired, I returned the car with a half tank by dropping it off at the auto shop and calling the Hertz location to pick it up, as per their instructions. I didnt hear from anyone again; it was that simple.
