I strongly recommend NOT doing business with this store. They were quick charged $130 dollar for a consultation but non-responsive when it came to fixing the lock problem. After multiple weeks of waiting and constant attempts to track down the locksmith for answers (apparently also the store manager), I decided to write this review. I would also like to mention that the receptionist just hung up the phone on me when I mentioned I was going to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I paid for the consultation because they said it would apply towards the final bill, however I still waiting for resolution and at this point I would like my money back so I can take my business somewhere else.

This was my first visit to the store and I am very impressed. 3 employees asked if I needed any help. 3!!! When going to Lowes or Home Depot I have to track down an employee for help and most of the time I never find one. I am remodeling my house and if I need any tools or paint I will now take my business here. I have never felt so welcome in a store. Yall are doing an amazing job!!! Keep it up and thank you for being so kind!!!!

Staff was friendly very professional and the locksmith is very skilled they had me in and out of there with a quickness would highly recommend this local business to anyone in the Pasadena area.

You might be able to find what you need here but I suggest you just get what you need and go if you shop here and are Hispanic. If you want to comfortably shop without being followed around the store like a criminal then you should probably go somewhere else.

I needed some custom made items. The salesman was great help and I was soon on my way.

It was the worst service ever, they couldnt even program the new key to our car. We will never be back plus the older guy had a bad attitude

They have always been helpful in finding what I need. The locksmiths there are much better than the results I get at Lowes and Home Depot, especially for those random keys we all have.

Their friendly and make great keys but.... the 3 employees I saw there where not wearing mask.

I had a very good experience at Reds True Value Store. I was greeted immediately and asked if they could help me. The staff was very friendly courteous and polite I found what I was looking for. .I have shopped at this store before and had a great experience with all their workers. I will shop here again.

This is where I go for all my rekeying and lock needs for all my rental properties. The owner David the gives great service and I’ve never had an issue that was not resolved.

The place is always clean and organized. It has almost everything you need. Staff is very helpful but they are not very knowledgeable of things I needed. They hire young men that dont have any idea of plumbing or electrical.Their items or products are pricy. Ex. A hammer for $14 when harbor freight has it for $5. You do the drive or you pay for convenience. Ill go back for the small stuff.

Nice staff little expensive but very very nice people

We are real estate investors and needed one of our rent house re-keyed, so I thought I would try this local locksmith. On the phone, I was quoted $75-$85 for re-keying 4 to 6 cylinders. Since this was in line with what we are used to paying, I accepted and they said they would be right out. Their technician arrived 30 minutes later the time they quoted. When the job was completed, I was handed a bill for $118.08! Of course some of that was tax, but thats 30% over the quoted estimate! When I questioned the amount, I was told it was for the extra cylinders. Really? I told them how many there would be before they came out. To make matters worse they charged our debit card twice!When I called about that, they said my bank did it and that one of the charges would fall off in a few days? Well that sounded fishy, so I called my bank. Sure enough, my account had been hard charged twice and the vendor would have to fix it. When I told the lady we get better pricing and service from our other locksmiths, her response was Use them next time. We will. Still waiting for the refund for the duplicate charge.

Its a good hardware store to go to they help you find what you need, every time Ive gone they always ask me if I need help. Its not a Home Depot or a Lowes but its a what I call a mom and pop hardware store with all what you need go and try it I think youll be satisfied on what they have and they do keys.

Always get prompt assistance. And the cashier treats all like family.

Reds has a locksmith in the store. he takes care of you every lock need. Its a bit of a drive from my house but the store has everything you need!

The person where you get keys made Is rude, he has never been friendly or helpful, I am guessing he dislikes his job or maybe Its just women, never even looks up just talks looking at his computer screen, play games on your time, maybe you need to be more helpful, but I guess that Is what to expect from these young kids today, he acts like everyone iIs bothering him, maybe he should be more helpful, I have made the mistake of going in there 3 (three) time but this Is the last time.

Been going here for years. A little pricier than the big box stores, but they actually greet you when you walk in the door and will help you find what you need.

These guys are 14 miles from me. I pass a ton of places that cut keys to get to Reds. Keys cut at Reds always fit.

I usually come here to get keys for my store made and other household items, well my husband went in and bought pressure switches for our compressors and the woman told him if it didnt fit that he could bring them back so i go to return them and they tell me i cant because it an electrical item and theres no way of telling if it was installed.... Are you serious? For one if it was installed i wouldnt be trying to return it and for two you sat there and lied saying that he could bring it back if it didnt fit. Never will have my service again. Lying people i dont like
