Jessie and his team are absolutely outstanding! They take the time to explain everything thoroughly, have wonderful pricing and great turnaround time. I do not know how they do it because they are always extremely busy!! I’m super impressed with the quality of work and the customer service they exemplify from the start to finish. Best diesel shop around. Ask for Jessie or Nate they always know exactly what you’re trying to explain if you don’t have the precise questions!

Explained everything thoroughly when I went in to ask questions. They had a couple opportunities to add on unnecessary things just because of my lack of knowledge and they didn’t. Jesse was upfront and honest with me and saved me hundreds of dollars worth of work. I’m extremely happy with the work they did on my truck and will definitely use them for any future work needed.

After calling me stupid and wanting to assualt me, his posse had to restrain him.Went in for a delete. He claimed he plugged up my egr cooler. I took off my cooler and it wasnt plugged. I took video and photos to show Jesse and still called me a liar. He was still claiming to have plugged up the cooler.As a result of him not plugging up my egr, tons amount of soot entered my engine and destroyed it. After telling him that I had to replace my engine he laughed.He refused to flash my ecm too modify the tune he did which all he needed to do was press a few keys on his laptop.He doesnt return phone calls. The delete took a week longer then what he claimed.No amount of oil couldve repaired the damage done to the engine as a result of Jesse not plugging up my egr cooler as he claims to his death bed he did.As a believer I live by His example, If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. I took my 6.0 to them and they were very knowledgeable about the engine and explained everything to me very thoroughly. My sons truck needed a tune put on it; apparently, it is called a 5 position shifter. Moreover, the price he quoted my son was exactly what I paid. I took my sons truck up there and waited for the work to be complete. It took a little more than an hour and Jessie was very professional. He walked me through the process and test drove the truck with me. HisLobby was clean and has a tv, complete with deer hunter video game. Even the bathroom was respectable. My 99 F250 had a major loss of power and awful oil and diesel leaks. After replacing the high pressure oil pump and going through the injectors the truck is back to new again and was done at a great price

The Little Door restaurant deserves more then 4 stars. Top notch service and way better then expected. The food was absolutely delicious as well as the desert! The waiters came by every so often to make sure we were well took care of. Will definitely return very soon!!

Jessie and his mechanic “ Slim “ and the rest of his workers been doing all of custom work for 5 years or more now. I would highly recommend checking them out. We will never take our diesel trucks to anyone else. Amanda the secretary is also very knowledgeable. Check them out, you won’t be disappoint .

WARNING!!!!! Do not take your vehicle to this place!!!! My husband and I had the worse experience imaginable when we took our Ram in. Our truck was sitting in their shop for almost a month!!! Amanda kept telling us that the part that was needed was in back order and they couldn’t get it and she kept giving us the same excuse, she would tell us they should have it by the next day and the next day would come and again a lame excuse. We finally got fed up with her BS and my husband went and picked up the truck. He found that party that they supposedly couldn’t get for almost 3 weeks the very next day!!!! The worse part about it all was that Amanda never called to let us know anything, we had to be the ones hunting her down. Their customer service is terrible and I have never seen or experienced anything so awful. NEVER, EVER would I take my vehicle there again and please save yourself from the headache and look elsewhere. The Ram we took in is under my name and the credit card that was used to pay is also under my name. The owners reply just shows the lack of professionalism from this place. When your vehicle has been in a shop for almost a month and you as the customer have to be the one calling the place to get an update and at times can’t even get Amanda or anyone else on the line that is called “hunting down.” Isaac or myself never got a phone call from anyone to give us an update, we were the ones who had to reach out. Isaac got the part from a Dodge dealership that very day actually and I am the owner of this vehicle so I have every right to post a review. Just because I was not the one who initially brought the vehicle in doesn’t mean I am not the customer. We have taken our truck to this place only once prior, we are not by any means long time clients and obviously will not continue to be anymore!

Had a delete and a tune done in June. Truck ran great, I thought i was doing myself a favor by installing a adjustable tune. Shut my truck off. Lesson learned, KEEP IT TO THE PROFESSIONAL!!! They have been friendly and understanding of my ignorance. Truck is has to be towed over and tuned by the people who know what they are doing. Thank You Modern Diesel Legion.

Jessie and his team really know their stuff. They always gotten me the performance upgrades and maintenance I’ve wanted and needed. Whether it’s my Jeep or my Cummins, these are the guys I trust.

They did some suspension work for me. Incredibly fast, quality work, and friendly. If my mom had a truck I would send her to them. They earned my trust.

I want to say its great to find an honest shop. I had an issue with my truck not starting after do an injector swap, simple problem that I had overlooked, and they had me up and running in couple of days! Jesse is great to talk to, knows his stuff! I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

Its hard to find good stand up guys that will help you out when you need it. Brought my 2012 ram 2500 in barley running and they returned to me a beast of a truck. Didnt try to up sale anything great customer service. The most interesting thing I saw with the whole experience were the return customers. Everyone that came in was so pleased with what they had got that they wanted more. I highly recommend these guys.

No words to describe this place is the worst experience Ive had with a mechanic shop. They do not take care of the customer they treat you like you ask for something for free“(they fixed me my truck)” .I ask if i can keep my old part the lady on front desk told me no they have to take the part as a core so I ask to a different shops about that and they said no that’s yours we don’t need it because there is no core on those parts (not a chip part )(turbo)they do not have respect with the client I asked the guy from there when they finally called me that they received my parts after two weeks that if I could see it and I answered that if I never looked at one., They returned my truck but Is not working as It should. I never go back to that place to avoid having to face this persons...save someone time and money don’t go here!!!

I paid for my services 100% in advance schedules an appointment a week in advance. Exhaust, tuner, intake, delete, etc. I was also told by Jesse that it would be done same day. I showed up and stayed so I could speak with whoever was going to work on my truck. I waited until 1pm and no one even asked for my keys. No one could reach Jesse on the phone they were missing 2-3 of the guys that work on trucks. Anytime I went outside the guys that were there were just standing around. I asked for my money back and the girl up front said she can’t do that Jesse has to even though she was able to take my payment. Also talked to another shop I’ve done business with before and he said never should have went to that guy. Long story short save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. I think the good reviews on here were written by employees. Stay away!! I filed claims with my credit card company to ensure I get my money back. Heard stories of people having a constable having to go with them. Yes this was after the fact. Anyway stay away guys working there looked sketchy too. Not a very professional place at all not a secure place to leave your vehicle.

My truck: 2002 24valve has been there since March 15th. Do not know what or when . Communication via text suck..

Had a rear main seal replaced and a fleece coolant bypass done did a great job on the installation

Made sure I was taken care of even though they were short handed that day.****Update****Second trip to the shop. Truck got a beast transmission from BD Diesel installed. Super happy with Modern Diesel and BD.

5yrs ago i had all my injectors replaced on my duramax and i noticed a white smoke coming from under the hood.I started taking the injectors out and noticed two different type of injectors, which means they never did replace all my injectors.

Had nothing but a headache with this company I would never use them again. Ordered a 6.4 motor and they sent me a block with a used cam and bottom half of the block was from a 6.0 I had to have my mechanic swap that and also put new crack bearings in a motor they supposedly rebuilt. They also told me that my core is not rebuild able and wont refund me my core because my cam is wiped which is supposed to be replaced anyway

Sub-par employees with horrible business practices. would highly recommend taking your diesel elsewhere. Very sorry i ever did business with Modern Diesel Legion.RESPONSE TO OWNER.hmmmm...so now you care about my problems? Didnt seem to care when your company created the problems, didnt seem to care when i paid out of pocket for additional repairs at a real diesel shop. Guess you should have cared when it mattered. Not after i told the world how horrible your shop is. Modern Diesel Legion is like a Modern used car sales man. Takes your money, delivers you problems. Once again, go elsewhere people. Not worth the headaches.

I won’t go back there, engine wise they are knowledgeable, but if you purchase a trans from 3rd party and these guys install, don’t forget to have them check for a dipstick grommet cause they’ll install the trans. And you’ll be back in 5 months like I did wondering why you’re truck surges and you check the trans fluid and looks like strawberry milk . The shop said water shouldn’t get in, so I say so why does Chrysler install a dipstick grommet from factory, well I just took to trans to a trans shop, had them pull and send to company who built it (purple trans) and had to pay $2600 for a rebuild after I just paid over $5,000 5 months after the new purchase, all that money and they dont send you a grommet, but shop should of caught it, no apology just got a water cannot get in, well buddy it did

Got a performance exhaust put on my F550 and it was fast work with great customer service. Would defiantly recommend going to this shop.

So these guys talk a really good game, get your money, and then do *nothing*. It seems like when we tried to get our work done was when they really started having problems. The problems were so bad at the shop with communication and *missing trucks* that the silent partner had to get called in to straighten out all of the lies and find the trucks.You know it is bad when the only way to get answers is to sit in the ship for hours at a time, proving you arent going anywhere until you get answers. I would never recommend this place to anyone as we had to threaten legal action and had paid a retainer to a lawyer in order to have our truck mysteriously reappear in the shop suddenly and have work start. They did really shoddy work, as they didnt want to give the $10K back and just pushed out what they had to, we had to spend another $2K at a shop in Spring (highly recommend Wittyz) to fix the shoddy work that was done.

Excellent service! I dropped my super duty off to get tuned and some other performance add-ons. Very honest, they didnt try to sell me crap that I didnt need which I appreciated.

Took my truck there two weeks ago. Told me that hed look at it the next day. After 3 days from not hearing from him he finally responds and says tech is looking at it today. That was a Friday. Text him Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesday asking for an update and with no response I finally had enough and picked it up the following Monday. So all in all he had my truck for two weeks and responded to me once when all he had to do was tell me he wont be able to get to it till such a such date or when he told me that the tech was looking at it on TWO dif dates, just let me know that he didnt get a chance or something. Worst business Ive ever run into and wouldnt suggest ANYONE to take their vehicle here. Even my worst enemy. Wish I didnt even have to give this place a star

Back at Modern Diesel.. had a leveling kit and a throttle module installed.. They do what they.say they will do. Pricing is more than fair.

Fast turnaround and very reasonably priced. These guys take pride in their work.

Dont buy anything from them on the internet...they didnt send me the seals and springs that they promised in the ad and now Im waiting on the parts that arent even on the way because I cant get a hold of the guy that takes care of the internet sales, have called them everyday for bout 5 days straight now and cant get a hold of him.🤷‍♂️

If we could we would give negative stars. This place sounded good at first talking with Jessy. Work on our 6.6 was negotiated and all work to be done was talked about and agreed upon. When the 2 weeks that he told us it would take rolled around, we were told 4 to 6 weeks. At the 4 to 6 week marker we were no longer able to reach modern diesel by phone. All calls were ignored at all hours. At 14 weeks decide to check on The progress of the motor. We found the engine still not built and the work that was done was wrong. Also the block was ruined from get go and we were informed it was ok. Finally back to our first convo when he tore the motor apart he broke the oil pan and claimed it was previously cracked. The motor didnt leak a drop of oil before we took it in. Now the pan is not cracked but BROKE. Had to spend $300 dollars to replace what he broke. Finally, When given the parts to motor after a non completed job, in hundreds of pieces, know way we could account for everything until getting home to sort thru and find many missing parts.

I have had tons of work done here and not only do my trucks look great and run like a spotted ass ape, their work can stand up to any kind of abuse! From mud to rock to doing 40 through dunes on the beach, MDL CANT BE BEAT!

I went to them to get egr/dpf delete. I knew nothing about this sort of thing, but they talked me through the whole process. They didnt try to sell me more than i needed. Friendly people and they know their stuff. Definitely a hidden gem in Houston.

Just make sure you ask about your cath 2010 2013 ford diesel your cath is worth 850 dollars so don’t let them keep it he’ll tell you is for his scrap

This place is horrible.......not only did they steal my rims and tires, they also loosened my transmission bolts and oil plug.......for god sake please go somewhere else.....also they Are writing all of the positive reviews.......please go anywhere else.

They took nearly two weeks to put on aTurbo on my truck and there mechanic not only left my passenger windows down so the seats were soaking wet but more importantly left the O ring off the oil return tube and as a result he put some type of compound seal on the outside of the block trying to seal the oil leak...on my return from San Antonio refueling I noticed the vast amounts of oil on the trailer I was towing and my tailGate...I am having to sue them...totallyDishonest bunch of want to be mechanicsJohnHave pictures to back up there incompetence
