My previous employer uses Milliman as their benefits admin. I called in several times and could not figure out how much admin is going to be charged for my account. The answer I got was, you would be charged by prorata per your account balance and most is covered by the employer. It was found out that the plan document is non existent under the Deferred Comp plan account and the Supplemental retirement plan document also governs the DCP. The supervisor finally finds out that there is no admin charged to exparty employee in the Supplemental retirement plan. How would a employee know if the title of the plan is not consistent and if the plan is not provided in the right account. Considering how much inconsistency/errors this admin has on providing information to an employee, Id strongly suggest not to use this company for any of your plan administration. Their employee does not care and does not know how to read the plan document and is not well trained for the purpose of administering the plan.
