Worst company ever, employees are incompetent.Was told I was not a customer because I used Groupon.I was also told the tech that messed up on a simple oil change was fired so you don’t have to worry about that. (Which is very tacky to come from Melissa from “corporates” mouth)WORST COMPANY AND SERVICE EVER! Not even worth the Groupon deal. Save the hassle and find better!

My brother took his car in for a tune up. It took them two days to replace plugs and plug wires, and a sensor. They wanted $1400. When he got the car quite literally, every last warning light was on. He took it back. Two more days (how long does it take to reset a computer chip) and he got his car and went to Moses Lake less than a week later he had to call AAA because the engine wouldnt stay running. They told him that the spark plugs hadnt been tight end. $1400 and these professionals cant remember to tighten new plugs when they are installed. Imagine if they forgot to tighten something on a brake job. People, you are warned, take your vehicle here at your own peril.

Friendly service. Next to parts store so that’s a plus. Just needed a brake bleed. Glad I did it. Saved me immediately from certain destruction on the Puyalup slow down.

Had my oil pick up in my Silverado replace, it was done in a day, the price was fair and I now have good oil pressure!

The technician said that the car needed approximately $1,200 worth of work. I took the car to two different places afterward to get second and third opinions and both places confirmed that Precisions diagnosis was not correct. I got my car fixed at Emerald Car Care in Yelm for about $600 and the car runs better than it has in years. Do your homework and get second opinions.

So the people here are nice enough but I feel they arent consistent. For example in three different times Ive gotten an oil change one time I was turned away because they were busy and was told make an appointment even though when I called earlier I was told they dont take appointments. Fair to say a bit of miscommunication so I make an appointment show up on time they do my oil change but dont update the mileage stick on the windshield. So again no big deal I can make due. Third time we make appointment we show up for appointment do the oil change for our road trip and midway through the trip the oil light turns on saying we need change. Concerned we stop to get it checked to find out they never reset the oil status in the car.I feel there is always something that falls through with them but it has never been major hence the current rating. If youre in the area and need work they can do but maybe somewhere else would be better.

We needed a new alternator. They fit us in, were friendly and professional. My car is running great.

Just called this location and the lady that answered asked “what package would you like” I continued with I already have the brakes I would like to know how much to get them installed and if they would have time today, she proceed with “go to the Lakewood location and good luck” really couldn’t give me a price and just sent me to another location. Word of advice don’t answer the phone if you don’t have the time.

I took the day off from work to get my vehicles fixed. I called them first thing this morning. Lady on the phone said they were not busy at all today. I asked for a quote to get my truck and car worked on and she said she would get right back to me. Called an hour later still hadnt put in my quotes together. Called 40 minutes later she said she was halfway through with the quotes. I asked if we were still going to be able to get in today and she said no way they were really busy. Totally wasted my time and lost my business as a customer.

Did a diagnostic and were 100% honest and transparent and filled me in on possible causes and solutions for my vehicles issues

My husband brought his truck here twice already and its still having the same issue. After spending over 2500.00 this is unbelievably disappointing. Not sure what to rate an establishment that doesnt get to the root of an issue. However, they were respectful, just didnt completely fix the issue. In addition to that problem. Got an oil change and was told fluids were topped off, only to find oil is a quart low and other fluids were empty! Being a service member, its imperative that you get to your prospective destination on time. We will hopefully resolve this problem and pray we werent overcharged for invisible problems. We really dont have time to keep leaving the car for days at a time, for this to happen again. Just had to buy a 57.00 part that will hopefully fix this AGAIN. Guess it has to be added to the 2700.00!

Precision has great customer service, prices are reasonable, a large menu of services for all vehicle types and trained techs that has always completed jobs for me. No problem.Precision get 5 stars!!!! Highly recommended!

They gave me free wiper blades AND upgraded to full synthetic oil for FREE! The family car can only take 0 synthetic...but I purchased a lesser groupon not being very car savvy... instead of making me pay to upgrade they gave me a free 50 upgrade as a one time courtesy!!You guys rock. Tomieka was there for me every step and she even had Keurig coffee fully stocked. When it came time to tell me the bad news about my groupon she had already authorized the free upgrade making it super easy and so very refreshing as far as customer support is concerned.I wont go anywhere else now.

I took my truck to them in August to diagnose no start They found part of the problem was a melted line on the gas tank which they repaired for 1500$.She still didnt run right so I brought it back.Then she went to 4 other shops where I spent hundreds more.The 3rd time I brought it to them they took the tank back off and finally found the problem. The muffler rusted through and melted the line on the tank. They offered to fix it for 400$So dont take your car here unless you want a long and expensive headache.

I bought a battery here 2 years ago with a 5 year warranty. I called to tell them I needed a replacement because it was not working properly. They told me it would be 10 days before they could get me an appointment to test the battery or replace it. I know it takes less than 2 min to connect to the test cable and run the test. Horrible service and receptionist has a bad attitude. I took my business elsewhere.

Staff is super friendly, personable, and helpful. Most mechanic places are not known for being trustworthy, but I totally trust these dudes. Employees seem happy and manager Richie is the nicest!

I was overcharged, it took over a week to get a cash refund, and I purchased an alignment with them on Groupon, which included free windshield wipers. They did not install the wipers, I actually had to go back and ask for them. Im not happy with the alignment. As for the tuneup, that seems fine.

Great auto repair shop. Genuine mom and pop operation. Pull in for an oil change... No appointment necesaary, faster and cheaper than jiffy lube with an actual mechanic recommending any additional work. The best around!

Alignment was well done. vehicle steering and wheels were much better.got vehicle in right away and office had wifi. excellent work done by technician.

I have read all the other reviews and trusted that the new management would do me right. I was beyond pleased with the service and professionalism. I brought my 2013 Honda in for an oil change and explained there may be some filters needed to be changed as well but I was not sure because I am no car expert. Danny at the front desk took great care of me and my car. Ended up I did not need any new filters at all. Car runs like a dream. Very honest and respectful business as of late in my experience. Give them a shot.

They listen, they do good work at a fair price, and theyve never up-sold me. As long as they continue to treat me fairly, I will continue to trust them to work on my car.

Would not answer when I called multiple times so I ended up driving there and the guy was lazy unprofessional sitting by his phone without a care. Will never come here ever and I would recommend everyone to shop around because obviously these people do not care

They are fast and great. Definitely a bit cheaper then your regular chains. And they have a coffee stand next to them. So its like a 2 in 1 type deal lol 😆

Danny was the kindest most helpful person I met today. I drove five different places in the rain without functioning windshield wipers and called three others including two other Precision Tune Auto locations and the Subaru dealership and no one else was available or offered to even look at the problem. A couple places even refused to work on my car because it’s 20 years old. I pulled up, walk in saying I’m the person who called with the broken windshield wipers.. “i think my new puppy chewed the wrong thing..” with shredded wires in my hand. No questions asked except “is the puppy with you? Bring her in!” After fawning over my 4-month old pup he took my keys and he and his technician Tommy spent an hour diagnosing and fixing not just my windshield wipers, but also my power locks which had simultaneously stopped working and topped off my oil that I didn’t know was dangerously low. On a Saturday. Free of charge. I will go nowhere else for my car but here, unless they refer me somewhere else because they cant fix it themselves. I am so grateful. Sometimes small things can feel big and this was one of those days. They turned my entire afternoon around. Thank you guys!

My experience at Precision Tune was a pleasant one. All who worked there were always making sure that I was comfortable and that I had enough coffee while waiting. The mechanic was just as courteous and pleasant and explained his work that was done and if anything else was needed later on down the road. His name is Tom. He is a fantastic mechanic.

Danny is the reason I come here. There are closer Precision Tunes but Danny is honest and very knowledgeable. Weve gotten great service on both our cars. I HIGHLY recommend this shop.

This is not my regular auto repair shop, but I was driving home after work when my oil pressure gauge came on and nearly all the oil in my van spewed out on my engine while driving on Mountain Highway near Military Road. By the time I was able to get off the road I was overheating and in risk of locking up my engine. Oil was everywhere except where it should have been!I was now stranded 25 miles from home with no idea what was happening to my van, after work when most businesses were closing or already closed for the day. I saw Precision Tune Auto across the parking lot and walked over to see if I could leave my car there overnight in case they could maybe help me in the morning. I knew they closed in 10 minutes, so I wasnt expecting much help. Instead, Richie walked back to my van with me, identified the problem, and fixed it on the spot! Apparently during my recent oil change (NOT done by Precision!) the oil filter cap wasnt reinstalled properly, so it came off while I was driving. If I hadnt been able to pull off right away, this would of locked up my engine and destroyed my van. Richie found me a new sealing ring, made sure my filter cap wasnt damaged, and reinstalled it correctly. THEN... he waited while I went and purchased new oil next door at the OReillys (I use a specialty oil) and stayed to put the oil in so I didnt mess up my work clothes. He didnt leave until after he made sure my van started and sounded right.I cant say enough about how surprised I was by the service. As a woman alone after work at closing time, with no idea what was happening to my van, I am well aware that I was at a disadvantage. That Richie took the time to understand what was happening to my car, showed me what he saw as the problem, then stayed an extra 45 minutes after the end of his work day to make sure I was OK, all the while treating me with respect, was above and beyond my expectations. PLUS, when he found it was something that could be fixed to get me home, he took the extra time to do that instead of making me leave my car and charging me for god knows what in the morning.To top it off, when I tried to pay for the service, he brushed it off and told me to come back when my van needed real service!Finding a shop you can trust that treats you with respect can be a challenge. I know the next time I need service with either of my two vehicles, I will be calling this shop. Thank you Richie for turning a potentially devastating experience into such a pleasant surprise.

I came here for an oil change with a Groupon voucher. TIP: When you call to set an appointment, make sure to ask them if the specific oil for your car is available or not. I had to come back a few days later (after calling for an appointment and telling them what car I was bringing AND arriving at the shop) because they did not have the oil that was needed. Other than this, the experience was not so terrible. They finished the oil change in 30 minutes. Staff were pleasant enough.

The customer service at this location was AMAZING!! Shane and his crew went above and beyond what was asked of them. Shane thoroughly went over everything with me and what needed to be fixed on my car and walked me through what was needed immediately and what could wait. Shane also was able to fit me into their schedule and fixed my car while I waited. Unlike the other location on 72nd Ave in Tacoma who refused to even answer any of my questions and also told me he just didnt have the time, Shane didnt hesitate to take care of my needs. I will be HIGHLY recommending this locations to others that I know and will continue to take my car to this location.

I called and set up an appointment because of a groupon deal I saw. After reading the reviews I was confident in the service I would get. Reviews posted a year or two back are negative so I’m not sure if it’s new management or owners!? I was treated wonderfully and my car was taken care of in the time frame they gave me. If there is negative reviews here it’s not because of the shop! They are AMAZING!

Tomieka provided excellent customer service and description of progress while our car was in service. After some routine maintenance items we will gladly return for future visits. The price quoted up front was honored (no significant issues found with the car to increase parts or hours) and a couple phone calls informed us when the service technician encountered an issue. For the price, quality of information up front, and able to schedule a week out this Precision Tune location is a hidden vehicle maintenance gem.

Came in due to smoke coming out from under my hood. They were quickly able to find the problem. They didn’t have the part needed so immediately started to look for it. Unfortunately we found out the part needed was no longer made. Still didn’t stop them and they were able to find a solution to get my vehicle back up and running. Will definitely come back again if I need to.

I bought a Groupon oil change. Wasnt able to use it as a walk in but told I could walk in the next day. We were not able to get in after showing up, fine scheduled an appointment, get there and was told there were going to be additional fees not shown on the Groupon or the Groupon add but on the stores website. So been there 3 times and still not able to use my Groupon for the price I paid.

I could do most things myself. But knowing that the used oil is safely recycled makes it a No-Brainer to use this competently run Local Business.

I went in because my rear differential was leaking. I went first thing in the morning and they managed to squeeze me in. The guy at the front was very kind, told me they would look at it to see if it was going to be a little fix or something bigger. When they put my vehicle up in the air they figured out that the dealership overfilled it, they let the fluid level out and checked the front for extra measure, brought my Jeep back down and told me to have a good day! These guys are very professional and kind. As a woman (who doesn’t know much about cars) it can suck going to buy/repair your car. These guys took the stress out of it. I’d recommend these guys every time. Thank you!

These people are scam artists! I got a coupon for a maintenance tune up (which I have done before on my own for under 100$, not a big job) the same guy who said it was good weeks prior, tells me bc of my model the price is 4x more than the coupon price and forgot to mention that on the phone. Can someone please tell the point of a COUPON if it only applies to certain vehicles. Who are you really servicing then? Lazy, over priced and really inconvenienced. What was Precise about this place? The fact ill never consider them for business. Thats it thats all.

This place advertised an oil change special for less than $20.00 oil and filter included. I brought in my car, HAD MY OWN OIL AND FILTER, and asked for the special. The guy behind the counter, whom I believe to be the owner gave me a written price of 45.00!!!! I pointed out that I brought my own supplies, and his comment was Well, Its a BMW. I fully believe he was trying to take advantage of the fact that I am a woman, therefore I dont know any better.Shop around and know your prices before doing business with them. I will never go back.

Ive recently started taking my corolla to this precision tune, Tamakea and Kyle, Danny have been incredible. Not only do they do amazing work but they are upfront and honest about what is needed and not needed. I went to meinike in parkland and was told i need a diagnostic for the oil leak when i took it to here they told me right away where it was coming from, after that i started to take my car back because of the honesty from them. I normally dont do reviews but they deserve it. I really appreciate the honesty and being up front that means everything to me.

I like that you use quality parts. And the service manager was friendly and helpful and explained the work in a way that made it easy to understand. I had my car towed to the wrong shop yours and didnt realize it until I went to pick up the car and it wasnt there. So l called the number on my phone and then realized what had happened but to my relief after meeting with the manager l was put at ease thanks a customer from now on. The shop is located in Parkland Wa. Danny was the person l delt with.

I just got my car diagnosed for 85 bucks and was quoted over 700 hundred dollars in repairs. I was a little shocked considering i only needed a O2 sensor replaced anyways and politely declined and did some compering on the quotes of replacement parts and found a 150% markup on all parts. which i can understand their needs to be a mark up after all, it is a business. But please 150% plus labor. I dont Think so!!!

Great coupon, but they are really booked out for appointments

Took my car in to get my car diagnosed for wandering while driving. They diagnosed it and said it was out of alignment. I paid and left. Three weeks later I get a clicking noise while accelerating/slowing down. It sounded like my drive axle/cv joint was bad. When I lifted my car up to look at it I see 3 of 5 lug nuts were loose. I checked the front drivers side with my torque wrench. All of the lug nugs were under torqued. I will not be going back again.

Im not big on writing reviews because I figure most places are either doing their job or not. However, in this case I felt compelled to write something because it is not easy to find a good and trustworthy mechanic. In most cases the mechanics are required to find more work to be done in order to increase the amount charged. I experienced this recently at a Mazda dealer where the mechanic kept claiming one thing or another would fix the problem even though Id already had a diagnosis done. Unfortunately, they took me for quite a bit.At Precision Auto in Parkland, I found something very different. I had an urgent repair needed for my front end and at the same time I was fully aware of many other issues that should be fixed (in time) since my SUV is an older model. Here, they encouraged me to get the right part when their system showed the price way out of range (over $700 for a $60 part). In most cases, theyd push to sell you their part instead of using common sense to find the best price for the customer. They were never aggressive about any needed repairs and in fact didnt bring up the non-essential ones.After watching them interact with customers while I waited on repairs it became very clear to me that they place customer needs and safety above all else. Many in this business dont realize that taking care of a customer so they return is the best way to make money. Customers who leave angry never return. Customers who feel theyve been treated honestly, fair, and well are likely to return for every repair need.Personally, I want to thank Kyle (mechanic who worked on my truck) and Danny (head mechanic) for doing a great and fast job finding and fixing the problem. Tamieka was great in the office. Shes not just an office junky. She has mechanic knowledge and experience as well and uses it to help the customer figure out what they need.Great job and Ill definitely be back for future work!

I had brakes put on the front of my wifes car and were very happy with the work performed and the techs are very willing to make sure that the customers are informed in a way they understand

Two and a half hours my car was the only one in the bay for a simple oil change. Ask them to check the brakes they told me it will cost more money. $99 for a brake diagnostic fee. Then when they give me the bill for a $15.90 oil change ended up costing me over $35 for some bullshit shop fees. Then when theyre guy pulled my car out of the bay and give me my key he told me my brakes are not safe to drive. He went from the shop bay to the parking lot and already knew that the brake lines needed bled. But that was a $99 diagnostic??? Stay away.

Called them in and set an appointment for the oil change. Had to skip work to come here to find out that if i dont have old oil level measuring thing, they cant do it! On the phone they asked me my model and they could ask if i had that thing....so i dont have to lose time and money.... very disappointed!

Sooo impressed with the service here! I will always take my truck here from now on! Danny was soo nice! I called several other places trying to get help with the battery on my truck (previous owner REALLY did a number on it) & no one would help. I walked in and he took the time to stop and take a look. There were several cars that had appointments and were ahead of me but they fit me in and got my truck back to me.Very thorough, honest & fair.I highly reccomend you give then a shot since they have been under new management!!Very, very nice & trustworthy guys!

Very disappointing!!! Called first and sounded really positive then went in at 11am and was told they couldnt get to me today and there was one car in a stall... definitely wouldnt recommend wasting your time.

If I could give them 0 stars I would but they fixed my car about a year ago and Replaced the CV axle and other parts along with that. Today as we were driving the car the CV axle and other parts litterally FELL OFF THE CAR. From what we can see they were not properly installed. We had just gotten off the freeway luckily otherwise we could have died. We tried to take it back but when we got the work done they had us sign some no warranty papers so they said they wouldnt fix the issues they caused in my car. We paid over 7000$ for them to replace these to begin with and now have to go somewhere else and pay more just because of their mistake they will not own up to. After having this work done I have heard so much negativity regarding this place and will never reccomend them to anyone. They are horrible people and a horrible business.
