Called because I had a handy man make a repair to my toilet which turned out to still have the issue. I called at 5 pm to schedule service for Monday and they said they could have someone out within 2 hours. Awesome, the tech Myles came out and listened to my issues and concerns, and then got straight to work. He was done in record time as the handy man took 2 hours for 1 toilet. Miles was done quicker and got two taken care of. Also tightened up a loose bolt on my faucet. Great customer service, great attitude, and stellar work.Being in the service industry if my technicians work the way Myles does I’d be one happy boss!Thanks Myles!

Fast response after making my call in the morning and I was informed of how the process works in regards to the estimate and the start of work if I accepted the job estimate. My main cleanup pipeline got broke due to roots. I called Roto Rooter they came to my house within an hour of calling them.. they diagnosed the problem using the camera. Very professional, very experienced

My sinks were backing up and I was in a panic! They began to overflow and to top it off I have family visiting from out of town! I spoke with a very a nice woman on the phone and let her know what was going on, she said she would put in as a priority and was very kind, courteous and professional. Within the hour Dan came and assessed the situation, very calm, quiet and knowledgeable. I never felt like I was being “bamboozled” as I have in the past. Being that I am a woman and the home owner I tend to feel like people will try to take advantage of the situation but this was not the case with Don. He was great!!Only thing that irked me a little which had nothing to do with Don or his work is the fact that I have had Roto Rooter come to my home on different occasions within the last 5 years and every time is the first time. They can’t ever seem to find my information from prior visits. I am a retired Air Force veteran and receive military discounts from this company and is much appreciated.... however why is it that the employees are not aware of this ?? They have to verify this at every visit, a little continuity would be great as it is uncomfortable for me to have to explain this every time they come out (not the fault of the employee) Again, great work Don! Nice to see there is still some honest people out there!!

I had a bit of trouble getting someone to come to my place: they were unable to make it in the 4 hour window they quoted, ended up coming the next day instead. This is why I am not giving 5 stars.But once they did arrive, the technician, Hector, was great. He spent a good deal of time making sure the blockage was resolved, was friendly and helpful in explaining what may have caused the issue and how to mitigate it in the future. He also spoke with building management to alert them of any issues they may have in other nearby units.

The company was very good about being in communication so I knew when the technician would show up. When he did he was very pleasant and cleared the drain in no time. The $249 price tag seemed a bit high, but I’ve no quarrel with their professionalism.

Ronnie was the best. Thank you for sending him to us this morning. My Aunt is 91 and the owner of the house. At 91 everything can be very difficult including the plumbing. Of course the amount of work that needed to be gone grew as we got deeper into the condition of the house. Along with it the price also had no where to go but up. But Ronnie very calmly explained there were several leaks in the vintage pipe work and we ended up getting the whole job done. His manner was the best. Thank you!!!

I’ve had many plumbing issues in the past several months and I’ve always requested the same plumber. It’s an old house and there are very few parts available so the plumber has had to improvise to make the repairs. Called Roto-Rooter to unclog a toilet, and received a 2-4 hour window of time to expect the plumber (when other companies said they could come out after New Year’s Day). The two gentlemen that came were extremely polite and professional. They completed the work very quickly and efficiently, and let me know that there is a 90-day guarantee.

No quote by phone asked to estimate said around 100.00 . Guy arrived and wants 260 for simple hair clog ..really ..come on... prob wont use again. Not transparent .guy who did the work was good . No complaint.. finally agreed in $150. With a coupon on there site for 5minute job 🤔

The plumber came to service both my neighbor and me. Had me run water and never came back to tell us he was done, nor that we had to clean the toxic materials left in sink. I noticed my water had been running for a while so I called, only to find he had left the location... with faucet water running and toxic residue in both sides of the sink. Not okay, at 2am, since it had been about 12:30am when we spoke with him in our kitchen. The operators were helpful though.

The technician arrived promptly. Went to work right away. And took care of the problem. He really knew what he was doing and was highly professional. Highly recommended.

Worst plumbing experience. We just needed a simple shower cartridge change. We live in a condo so the HOA required a plumber to perform the work. We set the appt so that they could finish the work by 2 pm (and made them aware that the building was planning on turning the water back on at 2 pm). We called them several times because by ten last noon they still weren’t here. We live on te bottom floor so there was a lot of water built up in the line, so they decided to take the cartridge out of the shower and let it drain. During that time they left to go get a replacement part. In that time, gallons of water leaked into the wall behind the shower and soaked our brand new bedroom carpet, which shares a wall with the shower. We called the company, because the plumber was still gone getting the the replacement cartridge (mind you if he had let it drain, or instructed us to let the shower drain with the cartridge still in place, that water would not have drained into the wall behind the shower) and they told us they would send a restoration team, which they never did. All they did was vacuum our carpet (which did nothing, it’s 7 hours later and our carpet is still soaked). To top it all off, they charged us $321!!! We have a home warranty, and the warranty company had sent a previous company to do the job, but that company didn’t like having to work with an HOA (I’ll admit the water shut off process is annoying); that company quoted our home warranty $109 to perform the job, so that was all we got from our home warranty. I don’t understand why they charged us 3x what an other company had charged us. If they had been upfront w the cost, instead of telling us after they flooded our bedroom, we would have chosen another company, but instead I have a soggy bedroom and am out 200 bucks.

The technician was polite but we were told over the phone that there is no charge for an estimate. To our dismay we were instantly charged $50 and it didn’t even take any labor to determine that we needed to change the cartridge for our shower...we had the flange and knob off already so the tech had a easy time seeing what needed to be done and what the problem was. Don’t believe the free estimate thing they will reel you in and go for the checkbook when the tech gets there. They call it a “courtesy” charge but they’ll never mention it to you before they come ....it’s a total crock

When our toilet needed to be reset because it had shifted; they were able to send someone out AND before the estimated time frame. Ben worked diligently to not only fix the problem; but stay within the quoted estimate. He did a thorough job to make sure the everything was done right the first time so he would not need to come out again for the original problem or any future issues at this time.7/18/19Our Shower was acting up and the hot water wouldn’t stop running. Jose not only fixed the problem without having to go to the worst case problem but discovered a few problems we were unaware. With estimates we now know what needs to be done and how we will tackle them.

We feel completely taken advantage of by Roto-Rooter. First, they charged us $273 for parts, but they only installed maybe $50 worth of parts; anyone can go to Home Depot and see that the plastic pipe they installed is pretty inexpensive. Then they charged us $500 for labor for doing about 2 to 3 hours of work. Then they broke the glass door on the bathroom vanity and refused to compensate us for the door, with will cost a couple hundred dollars to replace.So in the end we feel like we let a snake into our home when we let Roto-Rooter come in.
