Mostly went without any drama.Couple of issues when transporter went to collect my car from mechanic, Rinkens warehouse sent photos of wrong car which was just a rusty hulk !!!!Resolved pretty quickly however, and car shipped, and received with no damage.Good communication all reound.

We just shipped multiple cars to Europe. I researched different companies before committing and it paid off: Everything went beyond expectations!! Every interaction that I had with CFR Rinkens staff was outstanding. I would use them again in heart beat.

Dropped off my vehicle on 13 February 2020 in Paramount, CA then it was shipped out on 04 March 2020. Arrived in Bremerhaven, Germany on 06 April 2020 with delivery to the Customs Office (Zollamt) in Wiesbaden, Germany. Overall better than I expected with only the following issues:1. My vehicle did not ship out almost 3 weeks after I dropped it off when I was told at drop off that my vehicle would ship out 7-10 days. Maybe it was due to the emerging pandemic but I would have liked it shipped out sooner or told I could drop it off later to make a 04 March ship date.2. I provided an inventory with my shipment that was inaccurately listed on the bill of lading, caused a delay at the customs office to reconcile the discrepancies of my inventory and the bill of lading. If the bill of lading matched the total number of items in my inventory, there would have been no delays.3. Paperwork and information from CA to Germany did not seem to transfer well because of two issues; I was asked by the Germany office to provide provide a detailed inventory of my shipment and they quoted me a different price for delivery fees. I forwarded them a copy of the inventory I submitted in CA and then presented them the delivery fee I was quoted in CA. Thankfully they honored the delivery fee quoted in CA.4. Only two items from my vehicle went missing during this shipment; my navigation micro SD card and a lightning charging cable for my phone. I reported those losses to both the CA and Germany offices to see if they may have been removed and placed elsewhere in my vehicle. I received no response from either offices even after I offered to provide my comments to a survey.These were issues that I can now avoid in the future and could have been avoided if only I knew better. I am overall satisfied with the shipment and am currently using CFR Rinkens for another shipment that will be scheduled this month in June 2020.

It was a delay between the arrival date and releasing the car. In fact it took almost a month before I went to pick my car that I have shipped from Miami. I was utterly surprised about the condition of my car. Clean and in full running engine. I can see that someone was taking probably a daily care. Great job

We moved our vehicle from Colorado Springs to Guam....but it didnt start out that way. When we initially called to inquire about the possibility, we werent sure of our timeline, werent positive which city we would ship from and couldnt determine for sure if we (or someone else) would send or receive the vehicle. In spite of the myriad of possibilites, every interaction with CFR Rinkens was helpful and professional. They ( I spoke with the same person/had a point of contact each time) detailed how each possibility would be played out...call after call and email after email, he patiently walked through the process with me. From the pickup to the people who handed our van off on Island...100% fantastic. We couldnt be more pleased. AND... Once the vehicle was in transit, we received updates (by email). This was helpful to know we hadnt been forgotten in the 6-8 week sail time. Additionally, I want to mention that I almost didnt call for a quote because I assumed it would be too expensive to send an oversized vehicle. Not so. We are SO pleased we shipped our vehicle and would do so again with CFR Rinkens.

I used the company to arrange shipping for a 1950s sports car from Ohio to the UK...all arrangements were carried out very professionally, collecting and transporting the vehicle to the port, container shipping and also collection notification in the UK. Had a great experience shipping a non-running classic car from the United Kingdom to Minnesota USA. CFR Rinkens provided door-to-door service and took care of all logistics, paperwork and customs filings. Super-easy. And since they stack up to four cars into a shipping container, they cost less than other carriers (I compared five).

Great experience, and the best price! I shipped our car from San Diego, CA to Germany they promised 6 weeks and it was here in six weeks. Without an additional scratch or dent. There was a slight problem with communication as I wasnt notified when the car arrived but when I checked it was there and they had been trying to find us.

I scheduled my vehicle to be shipped via container from Germany to the US. Scheduling, paperwork, and pick-up coordination was all competed by email and very easy. Connie Chan (who assisted me) was especially helpful and responsive, even as I changed plans a couple times.Vehicle was picked up at my residence in Germany with no issues. Picking up the car in Miami on the other end was easy. I noticed at the time that the car was dirty and the vehicle was stored with windows slightly open (in a warehouse). No apparent issues other than the dirtiness so I took the car home. After washing it the next morning, I noticed several scratches and paint blemishes that were not there when it was last in my possession, and were not noted on the inspection sheet when the car was picked up in Germany. I also noticed that my car, despite having left the warehouse, still smelled like the warehouse...probably a result of them leaving my windows down. I contacted CFR Rinkens with photos and descriptions. It was explained to me that because I hadnt paid for the extra insurance offered by CFR Rinkens, they couldnt help me.I chose CFR Rinkens because they place the cars in containers for shipment. I thought that in a container, my vehicle would be protected from the elements and would arrive in pristine condition. This was not the case, unfortunately. Some of the scratches were in locations (rocker panel, rear quarter panel, roof, etc) that leads me to believe that the car was damaged as a driver was squeezing out of my car during the container loading/unloading process and fluids dripped from other vehicles onto my car. I have no way of knowing that of course, but my impression of shipping a car via container is now negative. In shipping my car to Germany three years prior, I selected another company that shipped the vehicle via RORO (roll on-roll off). I had no issues with that method and would choose that in the future.Despite phenomenal customer service on the front end, I would not choose CFR Rinkens again based off the condition my vehicle was in after getting it back. Additionally, I was disappointed that - despite the fact that the damage was not noted on the inspection form at pick-up in Germany (meaning the damage was definitely caused while in the possession of CFR Rinkens) - they would not take responsibility for the damage because I had not purchased their insurance.

I really wish I could give less than a star. My experience with this company and its people has been less than acceptable. They drained my liquids without telling me. Told me the car ran and it did not run when I received it. Failed to give me my paperwork. Failed to communicate properly. Became extremely verbally aggressive in person. FORGED my signature on liability paperwork! RUN. Do yourself a favor. You do not want to be one of the few that gets screwed over. I hope they aren’t expecting me to give up this easily on getting recompasated for the damages they are responsible for. Despicable company.

I will say though I went to buy a car in Seattle in January and only had a small window of time to get the car bought, packaged up and trucked to CFR Rinkens. Your customer service in Los Angeles was very good. Dropping off the bike was easy and everyone involved was very helpful.However when I pick up my bike in England I was very upset that you used paint to write the shipping information on the windscreen of the motorcycle. I had to buy cleanser and it took me over an hour of rubbing to partially remove the writing. Thankfully it only ruined an after market windscreen, if this had ruined the oringinal I would have been extremly upset. You put a sticker on the seat that would not come completely off.

Ive shipped same vehicle three times same ports with CFR. Ist time was the best. 30 day arrival as promised to Breman. Return from Breman to Paramount no so good. It took almost four months and while in the middle of the Atlantic, I am notified shipping costs have doubled due to additional customs inspection. I was uneasy being offered only one form of payment to a foreign bank that I had to give all my banking information to. Then after the transfer, I was left uneasy in waiting for confirmation of payment an additional 10 days. Third time from Paramount to Breman I allowed 45 days for arrival. When I landed in Europe, no vehicle that I was depending on. It took almost 60 days. When the vehicle did arrive I was not offed any compensation for the late delivery.
