I use a wheelchair and the guy working opened the door for me, wore gloves and a mask. I easily returned my old modem, didnt have to touch anything. I was out of there within 5 minutes. Took longer to park than it did to take my modem back. Professional and speedy.

Check your bill people! The breakdown of your bill. I have been being overcharged for as far back as I can see (Jan 2020). I returned a cable box 3 years ago and at some point they started charging me for the box again, of which I do not have, and I don’t have the receipt for the return because it was 3 years ago. I went rounds on the phone, they told me to go to the store in which I returned it to and they don’t have record of me returning it. In 2020 I was overcharged $544.35 and so far this year $366.47, which they would refund exactly $0. They didn’t even offer to lower my internet service cost, which is outrageously priced to begin with. We are currently exploring other internet options and will be dropping Cox as soon as possible. We have been customers since 2004, and paid them thousands of dollars. They are in the market of ripping people off. They have the monopoly of internet services in the area and are completely taking advantage of their loyal customers. I am sick to my stomach that I didn’t catch this sooner, and this company is simply ok with screwing their customers.I was never rude, I just wanted them to make their mistake right. I just feel sick.

Gigablast is a waste of money. Advertised up to 940mbps in reality youll get 150-300mbps. Customer support says its due to usage traffic. Poor quality. Ok customer support. Fix your infrastructure so we get what were paying for. Waiting for Century Link Fiber!Update: currently at 60mbps down. Resetting hardware yields same results. Tried new docsis 3.1 modem same slow speeds. Need fiber to give us more bandwidth during high usage times.

Store Manager would not allow me to return a modem and claimed I had to pay the equipment rental charge even if I wasnt using it. 3 hours on the phone with Cox after that to tell me to go back a different day when he wasnt working and try to return it again.

Was told i would be charged 180 to activate 3 coaxial ports. Went to the store and they told be that it would only be 100 dollars for a technician to come out and activate 3 coaxial ports. Why werent the 3 ports activated when i first got the service. Wish i could go to a different provider but they a monopoly in my area guess Ill just have to give them 1 star and tell people to never get cox cable if able. Over the phonebtech support is a joke as they were no help what-so-over. In store was a lot bdtter and more knowledgeable ans was able tonhelp me with my issue without putting me on hold for 60+ minutes.

I’ve been to this location several times over the last 10 years and never have been treated poorly or disrespectfully. They are always a pleasure to deal with. Would highly suggest going to this location if you have a need to talk to a individual in person or pickup / drop off equipment.

Cox is worse than my credit card and insurance company combined. I was a customer for 4 days several years ago, Ive been with century link until a momth ago. I chose to try Cox again because they have stores like this. With Centurylink, theres no one to talk to when they hang up on you.

I cant even believe this is the same store and the same company as when i moved here 7 years ago. The customer service is AMAZING now. From holding the door open when i arrive (great anticipation/awareness) to a warm greeting and immediately helping with my needs, this team is on top of it. I have been there twice in the past two weeks and both experiences were equal. I was in and out quick, with amazing attention and service. Say what you want about Cox itself as a utility company, but that should not reflect on how this team performs at this store. I am just so impressed with how things are operating at this Cox store. Thanks!

Theyre very friendly but will muscle you into getting a higher package than what you actually need. Beware of the contract- theyll charge you $200 if you cancel it before its up. Read the fine print! I didnt cancel but I noticed this And it was a bit of a worry for me, since I wasnt sure if theyd provide service to the place I was moving to in the middle of my contact.

Clean store. Attractively laid out. Courteous, friendly staff. However i was disappointed that i did not receive all the necessary equipment for home phone self-installation on my first visit. When i returned to the store another day, a different store employee helpfully and gladly provided what should have been offered (given) to me the first time.

I was at the store at 10 AM as moral support for a friend that was having billing problems. I was not impressed with the person helping us, she was very matter of fact and not listening to the questions that were asked. We called billing from the store and a gentleman named Mohammad was very helpful with getting things resolved. My friend upgraded to Contour TV and the person helping us told us the old box would still work. I asked if there was a charge for the contour box and she said no. Why wasnt the upgraded box offered? We left with an upgraded box only because we asked for it. Not impressed with thiscustomer service.After getting home, the new contour box did not work and they told her it was the new remote that didnt work.. So she drove to the store again, exchanged the remote and guess what... it still doesnt work. So tomorrow she has to wait for a repairman to come and fix it. After 2 trips to the store no tv tonight.

Those folks on the phones dont want to help at all. After transferring 10x u might get lucky and run across someone who wants to work. lol. I am so happy the shadow lake location is there. We get cable threw our rent. We got internet from cox because thats where we get the cable from. We were told 3 times our cable will be $86 a month. We got our first bill and it was $197. We called and had it disconnected and got internet threw century link. Turned out not only did they not disconnect it they are still charging us. The last bill was $100. While trying to fix the bill they turned off the cable that we are still paying for threw the rent. We have been trying to get this fixed for a while now. Cox says they cant fix it the rep has to. The office says cox has to. So we have to pay the $300 that cox did wrong or move because I dont want to pay for cable I cant use.Century link bill has been exactly what they quoted us and we still have it.Most wont listen because I didnt now look where Im at.

Very Friendly people. They will try and sell you service you dont want or need. Unfortunately I had a bad experience maybe because different branches even in Papillon had different deals for the same address. They sold me a phone line I didnt want or use because they said it would be cheaper. It was a bad and stupid deal. Having just internet is ten dollars cheaper then having internet and phone and dont let them tell you otherwise.

This was one of the best and easiest times Ive had getting internet. The 3 times I called, I got overly aggressive salespeople. This store was a whole different experience. She listened to what I wanted and got me out in 10 minutes with no upselling. Great experience. WOULD RECOMMEND

I signed up for Cox TV. Everything worked for 3 days. Now you cant shut the box off or change channels. I asked for a new box and was told no I need a tech to come out. Well I work late so not happening. Now I am paying for a service I am not receiving.

Very disappointed in this store. Ive been in couple other Cox offices but this is one is the worst. Despite the clean and organized environment, employees did not obviously know what they were doing. The manager, Ashley Henson, was awful, rude, and uneducated and showed so much attitude. Well, if you do not wanna help, Ashley, you could send someone else without getting customer more frustrated. After short conversation she just left and kept doing her stuff. While being there, I saw 2 customers complaining about unauthorized charges on their accounts. Read their contract CAREFULLY, they are liers. They will hide small nuances from you and charge you so much. But when you come back to simply explain about unbelievable Bills, they will do the same that manager has done to us: showing terrible attitude and ignorance.

Absolutely horrible service with incompetent employees. I moved and cancelled service back in August. In November I start getting bills and after spending an hour on the phone am told that I still have a modem that I failed to return. Problem #1: I never had a modem from Cox, always used my own. Problem #2: if the system was showing I still had outstanding ding equipment, someone should have let me know when I physically returned my stuff to the Cox store. Problem#3: After spending hours on the phone, their incompetent staff can’t get beyond saying that “the system still shows you having the modem and you owe us the money”. Never do business with Cox, horrible experience!!!!

Lying, inconsiderate, money grubbing, rude, a$$e$!!! I was in the store with my father. He was talking to one rep about his account and I with another about mine. They were rude and condescending to my father. When he left after being talked down to and threatened the representatives starting talking $hit behind his back while I was still in there conducting business. I wont go back to that store again. Infact if there was another realistic option in Omaha for TV and internet I would have cancelled my services right then and there. Its appalling how big business and their reps treat senior citizens and veterans in this day and age. Cox knows they practically have a monopoly here and dont care about customers and milk them for everything they can.

This store is one reason I stick with Cox. Ive visited it perhaps three times over the past few years, and Ive always had a great experience. This week I purchased a new router and had to have it activated. The rep I dealt with was very pleasant and prompt, made the appropriate entires, and gave me advice on what to do when I connected the router at home. This is one thousand percent better than telephoning some remote help desk, being put on hold forever, and trying to convey to an anonymous person what I need done. I was in and out of the Papillion store in ten minutes and Im back online an hour later. I see from other reviews that the level of service seems to vary, but Ive had nothing but great experiences.

My husband and I have received the absolute worst service from DOUG CARTER, a Cox representative. He is highly unprofessional and uncommunicative and should not be employed by Cox Communications. Doug contracts with the apartment complex my husband and I currently live in. We called him to get our cable and internet set up when we moved in. Doug assured us that our internet would be up that day, or the following day. 3 days later, Doug was ignoring our calls and texts (which is a repeated pattern we have experienced with Doug), so we went to the Cox store at this location to complain. The representative who helped us, Tara Bates, apologized and promised us a $30 credit for our troubles. We have yet to receive that credit even with repeated phone calls to Cox Corporate. We have called and messaged Doug many times over the couple months we have lived here to try to resolve issues related to our Cox account. At first Doug replies, promising to take care of issues in a timely manner, and then he stops responding to texts and calls. I cannot begin to explain what an unprofessional, lazy, horrible representative DOUG CARTER is. We will be filing formal complaints with Cox Corporate, our apartment complex, etc. as Doug should not be employed by Cox Communications in the future. If you live in the greater Omaha area and your Cox representative is DOUG CARTER refuse to work with him. I promise you will save yourself a lot of hassle and stress by doing so.

Tried to go into the store to get a new modem i purchased at best buy just two stores over. Was rushed out of the store cause yes it was also close to closing time. I had to turn around and call tech line because it turns out, the store rep set me up with the wrong modem, and a service downgrade, Which i never asked for at all. Cox isnt a bad service, just the representatives at this store are absolutely terrible. If you have tech problems, do NOT go into this store, ever.

Hate this cox location. They are so unprofessional and lazy. Over the phone customer service is horrible as well. Cox in all is a horrible company but at least for good customer service. Take that drive to the cox communications inside West Roads mall. Its well worth it. The papillion location closed at 6:30pm a couple of nights ago. They had me standing outside looking stupid while im yelling its not 7 yet. And the reps in the store were standing there looking at me. I just had a question.

Be aware that some COX representatives are only about making money off of you. We were lied to on the prices and were paying over $90/mo. They stated it was cheaper to bundle when all we wanted was internet. Turns out we could have been paying $40 less a month for JUST internet. We turned in some equipment and they still were charging us. For your sake: dont stop at one representative when cancelling services. You have to babysit and call 3 different times to make sure they are doing their job in cancelling things. If you dont, youll lose money and PAY.

Stay away! I purchased from this store in September 2016. Like other people on here I was lied to by the sales person who sold me a special deal that day from this store. I was told that this great deal was going on with TV, Internet, & Security. Keep in mind I only wanted internet and tv. I was told if I agreed to a 2 year contract on the security that I would get a great bundle discount on the tv and internet. I want to be clear that I did not have a good experience with cox several years ago and had switched to DTV so I knew to ask questions. I asked if I was signing a contract on the tv and internet and was told no. I asked if I was getting that price for 2 years and was told yes. This was a big reason I chose to come back to cox as that was better then DTV.When my 1 year came around in September 2017 I received a bill that was $50 more a month. I called customer service and was told my 1 year promotion was over and there was nothing they could do. When I said I wanted to cancel they told me I was under a contract on the tv and internet. But how I dint sign anything? I decided to go into the store a few weeks ago to give them a chance to fix my issue. I was very polite and explained what happened. I informed them I was a happy customer, but was not willing to pay this rate. The rep again said I was under contract and was quick to spout off termination fees. I again clearly explained I was never advised of a contract on the tv and internet and that I didnt sign anything for a tv and internet contract. In a very smug way she told me I received something in the mail with my first bill that said I would be locked into a 2 year contract. I guess thats how they do business? funny how the employee that sold it to me never mentioned that contract. Also funny how I had to sign an electronic contract on the security system, but they mail me the tv and internet contract without telling me about it? In the end I will now be paying hundreds of dollars to cancel this contract i supposedly agreed to. To make it even more ridiculous they told me in the store I signed a 3 year contract on the security system. I have in my email a copy of the electronic document saying 24 months. I dont understand the complete disregard for existing customers. Sign you up and lock you in with lies.I want to keep the service and pay $160 a month, but thats not enough for this shady money hungry company. instead I now am being billed $210 for basic internet and cable services with a security system i didnt want and dont use. See you later cox!

I went in to trade in my old DVR box for a new one. They were out of them (what kind of a cable company runs out of cable boxes...?) and on top of that the customer service rep was very rude. All the workers in the store were watching football and apparently I was interrupting him because he couldnt wait to get me out of the store. He was a REAL jerk. I wont be going back to this location and chances are Ill be switching to a satellite provider soon.

Cox has just started to implement Data Caps. our house hold uses way over the new limit on an average month. having to limit out streaming services we pay for is ridiculous. i would not recommend and ISP that has data caps.
