We got a great price for our new LeafFilter Gutters. They were easy to deal with, prompt installation and clean up.

I was super excited to get LeafFilter installed this morning at 9:00am as scheduled. The sales/estimate person I met with yesterday was pleasant and set up my 9:00am install appointment for me. At 11:00am I got a voicemail that they were running late. At 4:00pm I got home from work and they havent been here at all yet, and customer service is closed. I really, really wanted to be able to tell my friends how excited I was to be making an expensive improvement to my home. Instead theyre hearing about how the installer no-showed.Update: the installers eventually arrived and the job was still completed today.

Per your direction, i submitted a service request in your system. I received no response. This met my expectations as Shauny in Kansas City already informed me that their mission was to make money, not to provide a valued service, thereby making a deserved profit.

Well to start they wanted to set an appointment for an estimate and I explained it would be 6-8 months before we did anything, but they wanted to come out since the estimate was good for a year. So I said sure. The appointment came and went the I get a call after the fact to reschedule. I said no. If you cant make an appointment for this do I really want you working on my gutters? The lady talked me into letting her call me in about 6 months, I said ok Ill do that. I get a call a month later and I told him about the last time and he knew, so after talking with him I said Ill give ya one more chance. Dont be late. Its 5:26.... My appointment was at 5:00. Done!

Not sure how it works yet. We got it earlier this Winter, and it does seem to help build up a lot of icicles off the gutter, but I havent seen its functioning on letting regular raindrops drain. Service was very fast in installing the product though.

So far, I’m impressed! We had a lot of snow, which covered up everyone’s gutters. It was when the snow started to melt that I saw a difference. Everyone else had these huge icicles hanging from their gutters, most the whole length of the gutters. Ours only had one gutter, on an upper roof, that had an issue, but the main gutters didn’t have any. We had a day where the snow was rather suddenly melted with warm temperatures and rain, and I could hear water running through the gutters and down the downspouts, where it belonged, while others had water coming in a few places. It’s too soon in the season to tell if the leaf filters work as they are supposed to, but I am surprised by what we have seen! I will update when we can say something about how it handles the seeds and leaves of our sycamore, ash, and neighboring maple.

Each one a clue that the next one is coming...Clue 1- Both spouses MUST be present. Yup, they insisted on this. When they demand this before setting up a no obligation estimate, youre in for a fun time.Clue 2 - Im the manager, commercial sales etc guy. Youre SO lucky that youll get a special deal because hes not on commission.....Clue 3 - The obscenely high price that only the real suckers pay. For us, $7403...Seriously? Does that come with a trip to Tokyo?Clue 4 - The special discount No worries....well knock it down to $5900...Clue 5 - If you dont buy from me tonight I dont get paid. Sorry pal, true or not... not my fault you work for dirtbags.Clue 6 - OK...Ill knock another $500 off, because ...cant even remember... $5400..and countingClue 7 - The desperation call 90 minutes later... Ill do it for $5,000 taxes included, last chanceClue 8 - The call from a new Supervisor/Boss whatever at 9:30.... That original salesman wasnt ever supposed to even quote your or try those 7 slimy sales tricks. Your house qualifies for our special commercial rates that only he can quote.. (wait, wasnt the first guy a commercial guy?) Now its $3000and change...sorry, I forget the exact number I was laughing so hard...Can I have your credit card number? No? Ill email you a quote.Clue 9 - The call the next morning. Did you talk to your wife? No, we never email a quote...in fact we never put any quote in writing. Heck, our sales guys dont even have email or business cards....Entertaining and, sadly educational.I hope nobody bought at the first price quoted.

Had a no pressure sales call last night and the sales pitch was just the opposite. They pressured me into filling out financing forms and they came off as rude and defensive when my spouse and I said we needed to talk about it before we signed anything. The salesperson basically said that if we didnt take the offer right then that she couldnt guarantee that it would be the same price because she wouldnt be the one coming back out to do the paper work. That makes zero sense. As far as the price of the quote....way too high. Talk about sticker shock. With my garage over $4000 and with just the house it was still over $3400. 120ft of gutter tops. Thats more than $28 a foot. Insane.

Best decision we have ever made! If you need a gutter topper I would recommend LeafFilter! We looked at everything available and they stand out above and beyond every other product we saw. Stay away from the cheap knock offs, we wasted a ton of money on them when they didnt work.
