I highly recommend Paragon Dental for anyone, and especially for people who have had bad dental experiences. I have been seeing Matt and his team for close to 17 years now. I wont see anyone else, because these guys are so awesome. Its now a 45 minute drive, but well worth it for a dental team that listens, treats you with respect, doesnt talk down to you, always works with you, and actually cares! Words cannot express how grateful I am to these guys. I suffered for a decades with dentists that didnt listen, and I was in so much pain. Literally couldnt take the pain of the drill, because no one would listen that I could still feel it. I avoided the dentist with a fear, and as an adult, had major issues with my teeth, until I went to Paragon. Matt listened, showed patience, and to this day says it take enough anesthetic in my mouth to knock out a horse.

It may seem hard to believe, but I find a visit to this office to be most relaxing and satisfying. Peaceful atmosphere, high focus on environmental safety, unified team approach to each patient makes me feel at ease. And, my teeth feel great when I leave. A very thorough exam. Paragon Dental is wonderful! I broke a couple of teeth in a fall, they saw me immediately and I had temporary crowns by the next day.They are friendly and they know me, Im not just the next patient to be seen. You can tell its a positive work environment for the employees by the way they interact with each other and the patients. I highly recommend Paragon Dental.

According to by Explanation of Benefits from Blue Cross Blue Shield, they are a participating provider. After several years of receiving dental care at this place, I guess they quit being an in network provider, but didnt disclose this to their patients. You now pay up front, no big deal when you get reimbursed from your insurance. I received my reimbursement check, and it was $182.98 less than what I expected. I called to ask why, and I was told that they quit being a participating provider.....again, this wasnt disclosed prior to treatment and upfront payment. $182.98 lesson learned....time to find a new dental provider.

I have been a patient at Paragon dental for about 14 years now and they are by far the best dentist office I have ever been to! They always took the the time to listen and get to know me on a personal level. I feel completely at ease whenever I go to the office. They listened to me about me dental goals and also my life goals. So much to the point that I got offered a position there and now I work the front desk! I couldn’t be happier and more grateful to the Carters for everything that have done for me. It’s truly a pleasure being both a patient and employee there.

I have been going to Paragon Dental for years! Dr. Carter is awesome and I highly recommend him as a dentist. Even though he loves giving me a hard time at times about my flossing enough that just proves how much he really cares about his patients! Dr. Torres-Carter & Dr. Carter have officially become my favorite Carters (sorry Beyonce & Jay-Z!). Since getting started with them, theyve been very friendly and professional but what really puts them above and beyond is their love of family and love of dentistry. Love this office. Friendly and helpful staff, amazing dentists. I have had both Dr Carter and Dr Torres-Carter ‘tolerate’ me as I am a high anxiety dental patient. Painless shots when needed and their after care follow up is amazing. Always make you feel like family. They are very thorough dentists and are always educating themselves in the latest with dentistry. My kids, my husband and myself all are patients here. Quality for sure.

I have been seeing Dr Torres and Dr Carter for over 10 years now. I could not be happier. I have been to other Papillion and Omaha dentists and have not received the level of care, compassion, and attention to detail that I have here at Paragon Dental.

Some of the other reviews mention difficult office staff & I remember those days well. There were just a couple of people who were really troublesome & both are GONE. One in particular would ruin an otherwise really good experience w/her attitude. The staff they have now are extremely professional and friendly and the dentists are wonderful, especially mine, who I wont mention by name because Ill never get in to see him/her again :). Good help, particularly customer service help, is extremely difficult to find. I would highly recommend Paragon Dental.

I have lived in this area and gone to Dr. Carer for a just a few years - but have had extensive work done in that short time. I thought Id had good dentists in the past - but realized what truly exceptional dentistry could be when I started with Dr. Carter. PAINLESS dentistry at its very best!! He and his staff get an A++ from me!

I have been going here since I moved to the Papillion area four years ago. My hygienist, Jenni, is excellent. She is very professional and friendly and always does an excellent job. I like how they have early morning appointments so I can get in before I head to work. They file my insurance for me and take care of everything.

Everyone at the office is always very friendly and helpful! Great dentists!

Great staff, always leave feeling good. They are honest when you have minor problems and help you improve over time.

While Id like to say this is an excellent office and Dr. Carter is great which they both are. I can not give it more stars or a better rating because of their hours. They are closed on Fridays. Every Friday. Yes thats a three day weekend for the staff, every weekend of the year. Great for them. Terrible for the general public looking for service.

While Dr. Carter is a great dentist, some of the office staff there ruin a good thing. Nothing but problems with a one or two office staff, everytime I was there. Even after speaking with Dr. Carter about this, he sided with his office staff, who told complete lies about what was said. Loved the dentist, but I can not and will not go back until certain lying office staff are removed!

By far the worst experience at a dentist office EVER. First, Dr. Torres puts you in a room in an interview like setting with a video camera as she talks to you like a CHILD and shows you slide shows and a binder full of how a damn mouth and tooth looks. Then during your actual exam she questions you the entire time like you are again a CHILD taking a test and have to repeat back what things mean that she is telling you.. just clean my teeth! I was so infuriated with my experience but it gets worse, then she tells me she is not going to clean my teeth she’s going to numb me and do something else but yet I paid over $300 and she wouldn’t even clean my teeth!! i hope this place gets shut down because I have never had a more rude doctor or scam experience. DO NOT COME HERE. Total Rip off and so uncomfortable.

If you are a patient like me who has been putting off dental care because of fear or a previous negative experience, I can enthusiastically recommend Dr. Carter at Paragon Dental in Papillion, NE. I had been putting off getting an extraction because of how I had been treated at another local dentist. Due to my delaying treatment, my single extraction developed into 2 and I was nearly unable to chew. I went to Dr. Carter based on some Facebook reviews and I am so happy and grateful that I did. He completed both extractions in the same day, he did them quickly and I can honestly say that, while it was not the most enjoyable afternoon Ive ever had, it was COMPLETELY painless. Sure there was some pressure, teeth were being removed after all, but I can state that I was never in any pain. Dr. Carter and his tech, Jasmine were completely professional but also really seemed to care about my comfort and peace of mind. He explained everything before hand and made sure I understood the procedure as he went along. While I cant say that I am eager for to my next appointment, I can honestly say that I am not dreading it and will go as soon as my extractions heal. I am now 24 hours post extraction and I am having no pain or discomfort except for the obvious need for the sites to heal. If you need a dentist and want to feel comfortable and relaxed, I know you will be satisfied with Dr. Carter and his staff at Paragon Dental.

Dr Carter is a piss poor dentist. The best word to describe the crowns he did for me is nightmare. He does not care about his patients and does not make time for them. I chipped my front tooth 2 days before my honeymoon and he refused to see me. I had to go a different dentist to have it fixed. Horrible horrible dentist

Worst experience at a dentist office! The dental hygienist did a poor job cleaning my teeth. She basically chose certain areas to clean and decided not do the rest. When it came to flossing, she decided to floss the convenient areas and not by my permanent retainers. When I brought this to her attention, she replied, I have never seen you as a patient. What a waste of time and money! This was the first time I have left a dentist office with the feeling inadequate service. I left a message for Dr. Carter to call me regarding this matter, and I guess he decided not to return phone call. As a result, my kids and I will have to find another dentist.

Office will not accept Medicaid on behalf of our adopted children. So, who suffers because Medicaid will not permit this dentist -and many others- to charge $200 for a filling? The children. The CHILDREN go without medical treatment -yes, dentistry is medical treatment- all for the love of money. This is pathetic.

This is all being reported to the Government and President Trump, how dare you disrespect and Defame someone Disabled and Children also. You should be a shamed of yourself.

Dr. Torres-Carter did an exceptional and impeccable job. I really liked his professionalism as I explained step by step in detail what he discovered and what he suggested was necessary to do. She also has angel hands, because she is extremely careful and at the same time manages to make you feel relaxed and comfortable while she does her work. I usually panic on the needles but she was very good at applying anesthesia with such excellence that I had no pain or discomfort.The quality of his work was instantaneous, I have not had any problems since I left his office. And also what I loved was that in his Office they seek to help people learn to take care of their teeth, and they are very patient and careful teaching one the best practices, so that they do not have to come back often.
