I wouldn’t even give this place 1 star. My brother was sent to life management by the police and he has a medical record of psychosis and is legally disabled. He is supposed to be on medicine for psychosis but has been off of it. Because he told the place he just wanted to live his life and was calm the 2 days he was there, they released him without no medicine, no money, no phone. He doesn’t even know Panama City area. And we can not find him. Also they didn’t even let us know he was being released, having our mothers phone number on file and even called our mother on Friday to let her know what was going on. He is legally disabled and can not survive on the streets. If you have any mentally ill family I highly suggest you take them somewhere else and if it is the police that backer act them please please have them take them to a different place. This place is a joke and don’t care about the well being of your loved ones.

Big shout out to Dr. Amiri, Ms. Kandi and all other clinical staff at life management!!! I recently moved back to Florida and re started mental health services and Im not sure what caused the change, but the difference is amazing from my previous experiences with Life Management. Im actually leveled out and feel amazing for the first time in 10 years!!! I actuallyenjoy my appointments now. Thanks to all of you! I have hope again.

I only go here because I have awful insurance and cant afford a real psychiatrist. I need to see a legitimate doctor but theyve only given me people who dont even have degrees. My last one was a really judgmental and my new one doesnt even listen to me. He also seems to have no idea what hes talking about when it comes to medication. When I let him know I was having more panic attacks than usual, he suggested I cut back on my anti-anxiety medication. He also told me that I didnt need to take my antidepressants everyday, but only when Im feeling extra sad. Anyone who has even taken psych 101 knows thats not how antidepressants work. Do they just hire these people off the street?

I went to Life Management Center for help with depression. The counselor I was assigned to suggested that I might feel better about myself if I dyed my grey hair ( which I hadnt previously even noticed ) and lost the 10 extra pounds Id gained due to over-eating during periods of stress & anxiety. He went on to explain that he kept his own weight down though self- induced vomiting. Finally, I was told that my so-called depression was just me having a pity party and not wanting to grow up and accept my responsibility for my life. At least the so-called treatment I received at Life Management Center gave me a much-needed reason to laugh.

There are no good therapists there at all and to see a doctor took longer than needed! ran out of meds before I could even see a doctor there because the rescheduled me. So I ended up going through withdraws that made me physically sick to where I was puking my guts out. The therapist just wanted me to do worthless projects when I was completely depressed.

I didnt have a good experience while at life management. For starters, I was experiencing a medical emergency. The counselor took his sweet time calling 911. Then, this idiot took my drivers license and social security card from me. Anyway both ended up getting lost. When I called life management to inquire about my drivers license and SSN card, no one knew what I was talking about. I had to go through all the ass pain and expense in replacing those cards. Its up to you, but in the future I would go to Emerald Coast.

They have been great with our family! The have locums currently and each one has been very thorough and kind with our daughter.

In march of 2018 I was seeing a Dr Lewis for a year and he got personally irritated with my complaining about his poor treatment of my insomnia and adhd.I complained to life managements administration and was completely ignored, so i complained to the state representative in Panama city,still no reaction from corporate or political authorities.I asked the receptionist after the March 2018 session with Dr Lewis if I could start seeing another doctor and she told me to reschedule with Dr Lewis or she was calling the local Police to have me trespassed from life managements property.I calmly went to my car and drove home.During May 2018 I carried a boycott Life Management sign in front of their office on 15th street in Panama City.

The people are nice BUT they dont have any real psychiatrists there!!! Dr Bergman was the only one they had and they always over worked him. Dr. Bergman was/is a wonderful Dr and I will go back to him if he decides to practice here again or anywhere else. I have been seeing Dr. Bergman for 3 yrs now. He is the only one that listens to the words coming out of your mouth and prescribes accordingly. I have seen 3 or 4 other therapists there. Either NONE of them listen to what is coming out of your mouth or they are too restricted with what they are allowed to prescribe. My bf went there as well and he seen 3-4 different people none of which would help him. NONE OF THEM LISTEN!!! They basically hear what they want and prescribe u whatever they want. Dr. Bergman was the first pysctrist to ever have me stabilized on my meds in 24yrs of seeing Drs. And now they say he is retired. Which is great for him, very happy for him on that. But now the new Dr hasnt even seen me yet and is already saying he wants to change my meds or dosage....just ridiculous!!!!!! I WANT MY DR BACK!!!!! U SHOULD GET HIM BACK AND NOT WORK HIM AS HARD!!!! I would definitely sign up for virtual visits if Dr. Bergman would sign up with a virtual office. I just want my Dr. back!!!!

So glad i found a healthier and more effective alternative to prescription pills! If all youre wanting is pills and to not actually get better, this is the place for you. knock yourselves out. I had Dr. Swaminathan, she was extremely brief with me every time i seen her, she didnt actually show a concern or care for my issues. And just didnt seem like she wanted to be there. Also! I could never get ahold of ANYONE when i called, that goes for the front desk, adult services and my own doctor! Now thats professional... If you really want to get better try CBD oil.

Loving caring place to talk to someone that will listen to me and help with problems that Im dealing with in my everyday life and I thank god for all they will do to help me in life

They claim to want to help but when youre in a crisis and need an appointment but dont have insurance they tell you theyre full for a month and a half and cant make an appointment for you and to call back on Dec. 1. Clearly they dont care about helping people. Hope I make it that long.
