After repeated calls to get my prescription corrected that was written incorrectly, I finally got a person In the office that told me I had to come in and see a doctor first. This was not a controlled substance, and once again, THEY had made an error in the number of doses. When I tried to tell the office manager this, she said “I ain’t got time for this” and hung up on me. I drove to the office and confronted her. She was rude, unprofessional, and dismissive of the fact I was a patient. When I told her I didn’t have any sympathy for her and her excuses after over a week of my calls not being returned, she responded, “Well, I ain’t got no sympathy for you either”. The nurse practitioner has the office referring to her as “doctor” and she represented herself to me that way. During my last visit the manager and nurse where literally having a huge argument in front of patients. This place is going to cause people to get hurt through gross patient negligence. I encourage anyone who writes a one star review to contact the Florida Department of Health and report their experience.

I went here when new to FL looking for medication management and therapy. The nurses were abrupt and I felt I spent more time with them then my provider. I did have one good & thorough appointment, but after that I felt disregarded, wasnt given refills without constant appointments, never was followed up with, and left numerous messages with the nurses that were never answered. I also once waited 45 minutes for an appointment that lasted 10, and another time 30 minutes. They also kept saying they would connect me with a therapist when I requested a referral and even after my 3rd appointment, no one contacted me to connect me to a therapist. Very disappointed. Go elsewhere!

I love my lady that I come to see but am not fond of the front desk people. For a therapy place, they aren’t very kind. And why are we still required to wear masks?! I’m close to changing places but again, I love Cecilia so I will stay with her. Please address the bad attitudes. It’s not good for business. We come in for traumas. Bad attitudes aren’t necessary. They are no better than the people who walk in the door. This is the medical field. If you don’t have compassion, find another job.

After months of convincing, I was able to get a loved one to agree to speak to a therapist. I called around for weeks and made an appointment before even telling her.It was difficult for her but she agreed and went to her first appointment. She explained to the Dr about her depression, how she sleeps all day and feels overwhelmed. This Dr immediately came to the conclusion that she was there for, as he put it sellable drugs. He told her this conclusion and let her know he wouldnt be prescribing anything she could sell. This is disgusted and mostly heart breaking. I am truly concerned about this persons wellbeing and it took so much convincing to get her to see a therapist. Now that on her very first visit, she was accused of seeking out mental health services in order to be a drug dealer, not only will she not go back but I doubt I will ever be successful at getting her to try again. I dont know how to help her and the medical professional that I reached out to just completely let her and I down.If this Dr has become so jaded and skeptical of the patients who come into his office seeking help, then perhaps it is time for him to find another career path. I say with as much sincerity as possible that if you have someone you love who needs help, be ware of this office and look somewhere else.

Thoroughly disappointed. This is the only place besides life management (and thats a story for another day) that takes my insurance...So... Ummm... Where to start. Im probably going to go in to more depth at a later date but#1 no in house doctors... They put you in a room with a lagging computer on zoom.#2 no doctors, period. Everyone i interacted with was a PA. In my experience, your first visit is supposed to be with a psychiatrist.#3 no therapists... Which is probably for the best because the person that did my entrance interview that was supposed to a therapist was just... Not good.#4 dont try to help. Pretty much ask what meds you want. Didnt ask probing questions, didnt make any suggestions.#5 My meds from prior doctor are almost out and over a month ago I was supposed to get a prescription from here...But I checked online and my pharmacy never got it... So... I guess Ill update my review when I call them tomorrow and see if I can figure how to get in touch with shrink-in-a-box.

This is a great place if you are going for therapy, or just to get your prescriptions filled out. My Doctor is excellent! Dr. Gray. I talk to him about my personal problems, and he listens. He is always going to find the best medications for each patient, and try to give his advices. Thats so important to me...The front desk ladies are awesome and so the Nurses!!Elizabeth Raiborn

Ive witnessed a loved one suffer from severe depression for years. It took alot of convinsing due to her being in denial since shes always tried to appear strong infront of those around her but finally after months she agreed to get help as she was tired of always feeling overwhelmed and beaten down. She was actually excited about her appointment; she cleaned her house the days leading up the appointment and even woke up at 8 in the morning for the first time in years to make it to her appointment on time. She walked in happy and left sobbing due to the doctor accusing her of just wanting drugs. She was, for the first time in her life, trying to open up to someone about her past and instead of helping he shut her down with the worst accusations. I would not send my loved one here as thanks to this doctor we will probably never get her to seek help again. Its truly heartbreaking and frustrating seeing a loved one suffer from depression and to be treated in such a foul, unprofessional way.

Florida Therapys use of Telemed made working with students in need very convenient, they had a speedy referral process, and their communication was top notch.

I would have given a 5 star review if the front desk lady wasnt so ride.Absolutely love Celia and Alexis. They are both very knowledgeable and caring. I have PTSD and it is hard for me to open up to anyone. They made it super easy for me. However, the front desk girl name Keyana was extremely rude. I understand that things are different with covid now but that is no excuse to treat people with disrespect. The other front desk is very helpful on explaining the rules for check in. I hope management will address the behavior of the front desk lady since people are coming here to receive help not to be degraded.

Showed up 5 mins late, called and texted to let them know we were outside, sat on hold for 10 mins and when she answered she said your appointment was at 2. Ok well I have been trying to get ahold of you and didn’t know which number to push since none of them say press a number if you are outside for your appointment. Only one person on the phones ? Was her excuse, if you are going to have a system where you have to call in when you arrive then you probably need more people to answer phones. Won’t be back. I worked at Life Management and I know they don’t work this poorly.

After a month of phone calls and finally requesting a supervisor did I ever get a call back while I was on the phone with that supervisor for my fifteen-year-old son. then I was told that they would not make the appointment without his insurance information at which time within a couple hours I called with that information I made the appointment. Yesterday the only phone call I got from them was confirming my sons appointment for today. we show up at the appointment which is an hour from my home just to be rudely told that they dont take Blue Cross Blue shield for another six months and that someone had tried to call me all day yesterday which was a flat out lie. Not to mention that the supervisor that I talked could not understand English and could not speak English very well at all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Florida Therapy Services for ANYONE!!!!

This place is absolutely ridiculous. I took someone here who needed to speak with someone to work through some personal issues and they were greeted by the rudest individual one could meet. They were made to feel inferior by the person working at the front desk and the person, already fragile, fled in tears. Do NOT go here. They will talk down to you, snap at you, and make you feel as though you are a problem. No one deserves this form of treatment. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Also, be aware that even if you do not feel comfortable with a particular therapist, they will force you to keep seeing that same therapist. You should never be forced to be around someone you do not feel comfortable with. Therapy is a personal decision and it is ok to ask for a different therapist or seek another out if necessary. Do not be bullied!

Terrible service, terrible communication. Waited two months to see a psychiatrist after being told it would be two weeks when I called. Even then, I couldnt get a therapist so I finally went to a private practice. Office staff is rude and incompetent, including office manager named Kim. I can only assume they are in business because of the lack of mental health treatment in this county. Is there zero stars available?
