Hal was excellent and put us right on the sea trout. We caught our limit and threw back several more. This was our first i shore fishing trip and we will definitely be doing it again. He was friendly and very knowledgeable about the waters and made for a fantastic trip. Thanks Inshore Charters! Can’t wait to come back and do it again.

If you want to catch fish, book Captain Hal. Solid equipment, light gear and no live bait, best way to catch specs. Hal was great with my 8 year old, who really wanted to get on the ocean for the first time and get the rod bent. The little guy still talks about the 26 incher he caught. And seeing how excited the Captain was as well was pretty cool....would of placed in a tournament. Hal teaches you what to look for and how the trout set up, giving you the confidence that each cast might produce a fish to smack your lure. This guy knows his stuff. I appreciate the old school booking as well, simply call him and get it set up. Highly recommend, next time going a full day. We ended up with around 19 for a 1/2 day trip....in February.....including a 26 and several up to 24 inches.

Very limited tackle, despite putting us on a small school first thing in the morning.Was unprepared from the start of the trip. My advice is do your research before booking a trip.

I did a 4 hr trip over Thanksgiving weekend. Despite horrible conditions (low tides) Captain Hal still knew all the good spots and we caught a ton of speckled trout. He even risked damage to his boat in order to get us to some hot spots. We didnt catch many keepers because of the low tide, but we got enough for dinner, we then took the fillets to Bayou on the Beach to have them cooked for us, delicious!!! Captain Hal was a great guide and a a lot of fun, he had a lot of good stories. I highly recommend him for your inshore fishing needs.

My father and I did a half day trip. Zero headaches. We caught our limit of speckled trout (spotted sea trout) all longer than legal. We mostly drifted and casted lures. We also saw baby dolphins (calves) on the grass flats. It was an awesome day and well worth the money.

Captain Hal put me on all the fish. We limited out in our first two hours and kept slamming Dem slobs until we called it a day!! Will definitely be coming back soon to clean up the rest big the fish we missed today. Hal is A must call for any fishing trip in the PCB area and at a fraction of the cost compared to the other guys!!

I have known Hal most of his life.....always have fun fishing with the Tarpley boys.....recent trip out of Panama City was action packed....limited half day....used Curley Tails.....light tackle.....OUT OF SIGHT !!!!!
