Advertised to open at 8:30 on Monday morning. Waiting until 9:15 and no one is there. Came back later and my belt was not ready. It was supposed to have been ready on Friday. She did the alteration for me while I waited but used the completely wrong color of thread. So I will come back again later today to pick it up. Not impressed.
Quick job and fast. I needed it done right away and they made it happen. Exactly what I wanted. Will give 5 stars as soon as I can pay with a card instead of cash only.
I am not one to ever leave a bad review, but Im just extremely disappointed. I brought me and my daughters dresses in to be altered for a wedding we are in, as Ive used Sunnys before a few years ago for something a little more simpler. All I needed done for both of the dresses was for them to be hemmed, and my daughters dress to be taken in on the waist an inch. Not only did she argue with me about what needed done for the dress to fit (which she refused to adjust the strap like i asked and insisted that itd be fine, which it completely was not!), she charged me out the A** for both of them. I paid more for the alteration than what I paid for just the dresses alone. Also, after speaking with another reputable seamstress in town, she explained to me that the owner of this shop charges by looking and guessing what you paid for the dress/suit/etc. and bases her price off that. Which is complete BS.
I was out of town and needed a pair of pants hem. She gave me the price and told me it would be done by the next day. I got a call from her a couple hours later and she said they was done. She told me, since it was my first time there and was out of town she put me first. I thought that was very nice of her to do that for me.
Super nice and detailed worker. Been around for a long time. Live her.
I do not recommend this place. I went to wear a short suit that the zipper broke, I brought him a new one to fix it, it happened almost two weeks one that I could not find my suit and now they returned the suit to my sister because they could not do anything because one had been sewn part of the suit in my house and they did not know how to fix it definitely I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
Don’t get me wrong! I appreciate her helping me out. But very pricey. I furnished the buckles. And had her to put on 2 buckles and do one stitch above each leg of my overalls to stop them from freying anymore. She charged me $27.00 wow! Wasn’t expecting that. I paid 35.for them brand new ... very high. For me furnishing the buckles.
They did a great expedient job. Just a little pricey.
Will never go back. Was WAY overcharged for her to hem a dress add straps and take straps up on another. Was not worth $224 I learned my lesson and will find a more reasonable place!
Very friendly and fast reasonable prices.
I was able to pick up altered clothing the very next day. Please support family owned businesses.
I have taken many pairs of uniform pants to get repaired here over the past several years. Shes very fast and usually has stuff done the same day you drop it off. Her pricing is also more than fair.
Great work and extremely helpful when it came to a quick turn around. Sunnys help was greatly appreciated in a pinch. Will certainly make her our regular tailor.
Very expensive, and didnt do the job right on my patrol cap. Very fast, but not worth the money spent.
Clean. Very kind. Good work
Replaced a 34 zipper on a sweatshirt coat and did a wonderful job. Got it back earlier than expected.
Sunny is a very meticulous tailor who alters clothing to exact measurement and detail. Plus you get from her a smile that lights up the day.
Very nice people; however, I’m not satisfied what so ever with my alterations.1st issue: My dress cost $150 I was charged $182 for alterations2nd issue: when I went to get my dress the first time, the straps were falling off because they were to long so my dress would not stay up. When I asked her to fix them she said “remember you said no touch to straps”. I explained to her that how she initially pinned/sized my dress to fit the straps were staying on my shoulders; so there was no reason to. Once she took the dress in the straps weren’t staying on my shoulders so apparently she didn’t take it in the same way she had it pinned. So, since I was paying $182 to have my dress taken in and to hem the bottom I wanted my dress to fit perfectly.3rd issue: I received my dress the next day in which my husband had to pick it up because I had to work out of town. When I tried it on only one strap was touched and it was still to long. So, needless to say, I paid $182 for me to STILL have to safety pin my dress that was nearly impossible to do/maintain throughout the night of the ball.
Loved it
