Easiest company ever to work with !!

After going online to view sites regarding air conditioning and speaking to some of the people at these sites, I came across one that really stuck with me. I am a 63 year old man whose experiences in life have really helped in reading people. I called Alexander Air Conditioning in Panama City, Florida and spoke to Patti who is business manager of the operations there and told her what I was looking for and wanting to do. Later that afternoon, the very same day, Glen Alexander, the owner, was at my doorstep to assess my wants/needs. As afiable a man as you could meet, I was more impressed with his honesty and integrity. We were able to make a great deal on a great product that same day. As I needed some other things done before the installation, I found myself without any air conditioning in late July heat and humidity. Patti took it upon herself to send one of their technicians, Paul, who was great, to get my archaic air conditioner running till my new one could be installed so that I could be comfortable. My new heat pump was installed in a very timely and professional manner by Steve and Timothy. This is a great example of how all businesses should conduct themselves. Friendly and fast service. Suncoast Diagnostic Imaging requires a reliable air conditioning company to respond quickly to service calls at anytime due to our heat sensitive equipment. Alexander Air has proven to be the best company for our business needs. The day after an A/C installation the owner came by to check that the new unit was adequately working and that all previous issues were resolved. They have gone above and beyond my expectations with their timeliness on service calls.

My neighbor bought a new York A.C. unit from Glenn Alexander about six months ago. He has been very happy with the system. I recently bought two units from Glenn Alexander. They replaced the old systems in a quick and professional manner. They are the nicest people to deal with. I would rated them higher than 5 stars. The office coordinator Patty was exceptionally nice and helpful getting my appointment set up. The service technician Paul was also great and answered all my questions about how to take care of my system, what to look for when troubleshooting things I could do myself and how to tell it was time to call for help. Their maintenance program seemed very reasonable to me also.

This is an exceptional company. From the first call we made to them, to them installing a new outside a/c unit, a new fan to the inside a/c unit, everyone has been so helpful and very nice. A huge thank you to both Steve and Timmy, for their services on our new unit. Also, for taking the time and being so knowledgeable on the questions I was asking. Paul was very nice, respectful, and knew what he was doing. He also gave me his cell in case I had any problems and scheduled a followup in a month to make sure everything was o.k.! Highly recommended.

Did not complete the job, only half finished. Tore out wires in the attic and didnt bother to tell anyone. Stepped thru the ceiling and wanted to trade service calls on my two units, needless to say I havent heard from them since. I trusted them but as soon as they were paid they were gone. Considering hiring an attorney to recover my damages. My advice is to avoid them, if you have to use them pay with a credit card so you can dispute the charges if necessary and only after they are finished and you are satisfied with the job. (Also after having consulted other Techs, the grossly overcharged for the job)

We called Alexander Air Conditioning.Glenn came out the same day. They replaced our irreparable A/C unit damaged from the Hurricane. We now have a new unit with a10 year warranty. I needed a complete replacement of my 4 ton HVAC system. I called Alexander Air Conditioning upon the recommendation of a neighbor. I spoke to the helpful and efficient Patti on Sunday afternoon, who promptly send owner Glenn Alexander at 10:00 am Monday morning, who arrived exactly on time, looked things over, and gave me a written firm price for a quality York system with a ten year warranty. I checked a couple of other companies, and soon called Patti and asked her to book the change out. Steve and Timmy arrived at exactly 9:30 am the following day as promised, went quietly to work, and were completely done and gone by 3:00 pm. All in all, an excellent, no BS transaction, these folks do everything right with good communication ahead of time and throughout the process. Glenn runs his business the way I run mine, which is I simply do what I say Ill do, when I say Ill do it, and at the price stated. You just cant ask for any more than that. Highly recommended.

We were in need of replacing our old air conditioning unit and had called several companies before settling on Alexander Air Conditioning. They were very professional and courteous. Their expertise was evident by the way they installed our unit. Highly recommend this company.

Called on Feb 25th and spoke to Glenn who was supposed to check out a facility having issues. Its March 13th and after several attempts to reach him, I am moving on to another HVAC contractor. Not professional at all and no help from their office on getting answers.

I have a vacation rental condo on the beach and my system blower motor broke. Gave Alexander air a call and Paul came out to take a look, explained to me with the age of my system on the beach and it being a rental it made more sense to replace vs fix. He gave me a good price. Patti at the office scheduled it and they did it same day so I would not lose any rental income from having people out of the unit. Thanks Alexander air!

I had to replace a heat strip and circuit board from a burnout. Glenn and Paul were very nice and got my heat back up and running. I would use them again.

It took a couple tries to get it right (due to equipment, not lack of trying) but they were nice, helpful and prompt. In the end, we have functional AC!! And that is all that matters.

We were very impressed with the professionalism of Steve and his work. They came by after they finished, explained what they had done and also what they would do once the power was turned on. Overall, I would highly recommend Alexander Air Conditioning to everyone.

I love my new York heatpump. I needed a new heatpump and had researched myself crazy trying to decide on which brand to go with. I had received many estimates and after a friend suggested Alexander Air,I never looked back.I received an estimate on a new unit and service package that no other company came close to offering. It was not a bare bones estimate. They didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need and they included as part of their estimate things that other companies either did not offer or would charge extra for.I am comfortable recommending Alexander Air to anyone needing a new system.

SEARCH NO MORE!!! I bought my house two months ago. Knowing that the A/C units were old and outdated, I told myself I would be fine. Long story short I wasnt. After fighting with the home warranty company who would rather pay for the repairs on my 13+ year old systems, or only replace one system, I decided to go with the cheaper alternative which was buying new units. I called a large company who arrived on slight delay, and didnt really make a connection. They offered a ridiculous price on some cheap units. I felt pressured into the decision as a 90 degree house for 2 days had put me in a rush. Luckily my fiances father is a HVAC consultant and salesman. He gave me some advice. I called a few other companies. Unfortunately for me, Alexander Air Conditioning was last. I only wish I called them first as it would have saved me so much time! I was instantly greeted on the phone by the lovely Patty. She was clearly a very honest woman who took pride in her work. She knows the client base as when I named my street address she said they have a few customers on our street. That meant a lot to me. There were a few follow up calls and I felt like I had a good relationship with her. Glen Alexander showed up to the house only an hour after the phone calls with Patty. He was very quick and thorough. He was straight to the point and very personable. Im no expert on HVAC. But even I knew that he gave us a fantastic deal. I called my soon to be father in law to ask how he felt about the deal and mainly the brand of the unit. He was impressed by the brand and the included warranties and coverage. When I said the price, the phone went silent. And he told me that its a great deal, and to take it now. That was just the icing on the cake. Alexander Air Conditioning gave me the lowest price out of the 6 places I talked to. And they by far gave me the best products. Before my fiancee could ask when it could be installed, he said Tomorrow morning as soon as she said I do have one question though. Glenn was another person I I was very impressed and felt had a good business relationship with. Steve and Timmy showed up the next day exactly on time. And got straight to work. They were both very professional and quick. Only took them about 3 to 3.5 hours! Alexander Air Conditioning was nothing but a pleasure to work with. From Owner, to the hard working staff. I am very pleased with my service and can promise you, you will be too. By far the best in Panama City! Thank you Alexander.
