STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS! You will get nothing but lies and ridicule from Roman Sobula! He will tell you that he needs one week but in truth, it’ll be one month! Took my 2018 sonata to him and it actually came out looking worse then when I brought it to him! On top of that, he left a rag in the engine bay which CAUGHT ON FIRE!Extremely unprofessional and terrible quality work!
Very incompetent and unqualified manager and staff.Owner Roman Sobula is very condescending and Has no customer service what so ever, He lies over and over again but will not take a dollar off to compensate.Took my 2021 Chevy Malibu to get fixed and they completely destroyed it. Now I have to pay $4,000 to get it repaired somewhere else because of the damaged they caused. STAY AWAY from this Business.
Walked in after calling on a Saturday and Roman treated us like friends & fixed our leaking fuel line. Got us back on the road in an hour!! Excellent!
R&S Auto Service is a Very Clean and Reputable Repair Shop to visit if/when your vehicle needs repairs or if youre a Big Dummy like me, where an Unfortunate Traffic Citation was issued, requiring a BAIID to be installed in my personal vehicle... I chose SMARTSTART for my BAIID and R&S Installed this BAIID Unit in a shorter than expected time and its NOT FREE but, I was charged way less than what thier competetors charge... SCALE OF 1 - 10, I RATE R&S 10

Next time I go to auto repair place I would do 3 things. 1. Bring your own parts if possible. 2 Ask how much they charge per hour which should be around 80 dollars an hour. 3 I would dig in how long it truly take to replace or change that thing. Some mechanic do 1.5 hour worth work and charge you for three. If one of these is not met, then it is dishonest mechanic

Horrible service!!!I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO THERE.They charge cheap but at the end will cost a lot more expensive from what you thought BECAUSE YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE YOUR CAR TO OTHER PLACE TO FIX IT.I had 1 issue on my car after I get my car from their shop my car has 5 things to fix it...I HAD TO TAKE TO ANOTHER SHOP TO FIX IT. 👿😈😡🤬
Their service is really bad. Arrived there to return U-haul, but had us waited for more than 30 mins because they were fixing car. Never going back again.
Gave 1 star because I had too. Took my car in with 1 thing that needed to be fixed and now I have more issues. After I picked up the car I noticed my abs lights were on. There was nothing wrong with my brakes when I took the car in. Snapped my abs sensor right off while I was driving with my daughter in the car. I do not trust them yes they were pretty cheap and now I know why. They want you to come back..... Thanks but no thanks I wouldnt be surprised if they dont even have a liscense.

They charge me 546.00 dollars to change two outer tie rods took one hour labor still have to get front end alignment .Parts were 65.00

I have been dealing with this shop for over a decade I have a love-hate relationship with them the hate part is just comedy the love part is I know my car will be taken care of request to speak to Roman I think they are fair and reasonable I think the more knowledge you have about automobiles the better deal youll get thats just my opinion because if you have knowledge of automobiles youll know that youre being treated fairly

Ramos is the owner. I met him when he was on 88th n 79th st. He was much humble and kind when he was starting out. Like most businesses get big headed and forget Cx are to be treated with respect and courtesy. One time your fault second time is my fault. MERRY CHRISTMAS because you will never ever get a chance to treat me this way ever.
Horrible experience I dont recommend no one to go to this shop.End up taking my car to the dealership and now its fixed. Should of did that in the first place.Out of my time and money.😔😔😢😢
The absolute WORST JOKE Ive ever dealt with!! I went in the to replace a Xenon Headlight. I specifically asked the owner, and the front desk lady (Heather) if the mechanic knew how to replace a Xenon headlight for a Volkswagen truck, they assured they did. The mechanic took 3 DAYS to replace my xenon headlight but i was patient enough to deal with it. It took exactly ONE DAY for the entire headlight to burn out! I went back immediately (Since you cannot drive without headlights) and asked them to see whats wrong. The owner, Roman told me that i needed a NEW HEADLIGHT and it was going to cost me $700! I asked him to get my truck together and i was going to check it somewhere else. I then had them write out exactly what happened. The cheap, dumbass mechanic that they paid $5/hour had installed my Xenon headlight with both wires touching. After having the other mechanic write a full review, explaining that the reason my headlight is burned out was because of the installation. I then brought that letter and my truck back to Roman. He told me hed try to fix it... okay.... NINE DAYS LATER I come back to NOTHING!!!!!!!!! Throughout the entire time it was there, either he was busy, someone was sick, weather conditions were bad... yada yada yada.. Finally he told me that i NEEDED A NEW BATTERY... WHAT?????!!! WHY???!!! He then shut me down and told me to come grab my car. So i did, and i made a dispute. The bank tells me that the mechanic (Roman) had mentioned that the charge was NOT for installment. He says its for the xenon lights. Ummmm HELLOOO I HAD TO PAY $700 FOR A NEW HEADLIGHT BECAUSE YOUR MECHANIC DID NOT KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING!!!! Romans & Heather response: He is no longer working with us I DONT CARE THAT YOUR CHEAP MECHANIC DONT WORK FOR YOU!! YOU guys SNAKED me out of $90, BURNED MY HEAD LAMP, AND KEPT MY CAR FOR A TOTAL OF ALMOST 2 WEEKS!!!This is the first time i brought this up and the incident happened in January. My sister-in-law works for South Side news paper. All i asked was for my money back, not even an apology. I cannot believe theres people still like this in business.Everyone, please.. Be smart! I trusted this guy because he was in my neighborhood and i used to deal with the old owners. These new guys are 100% scams! Do NOT take the same mistake i took. I attached the letter for the review... Take a look at it yourselves. I really hope that i at least save someone from spending another $90 with them.Roman, i hope this reaches out to 10 different $90 customers. If not, i surely hope the next South Side article does.P.S- I am the LAST person with this kind of time to write a bad review. But enough is enough! Roman, you may have got me for $90 but you will NOT last in business!
