I give them a 5 start rating. I was able to get a new homeowners and auto policy all online. this office is very responsive and excellent customer service. If you encounter any issues, they are more than happy to assist you.
Very unsatisfactory service during an extremely difficult time. My vehicle was stolen July 23, 2020.- Though Ive made several attempts to speak directly to my agent Jennifer Rivera, she has not responded or made any attempt to reach out to me. Ever.- My vehicle was on a police hold for 4 days. Though I made a few attempts (after cpd released the investigative hold) to have my vehicle towed to the body shop for an estimate of damage. Allstate chose to have a SECONDARY tow company pick up my vehicle. Any company regularly dealing with Chicago Pond is aware NO vehicle will be released to a secondary tow company without the approval and signature of the vehicles owner. Each attempt was made while I was at work. On the 3rd attempt - I left work EARLY to rush to the Pond to sign so my vehicle could finally be released.- After signing for the secondary tow (and after expressing my dissatisfaction to an Allstate Rep bc my Adjuster was out of town.) I sat in the yard and watched the tow driver pull my TOTAL LOSS vehicle out of the yard (hitch tow) at a speed at less than 10 mph bc none of the wheels were operable. I followed the driver from the tow yard - pulled along side the driver and asked what the heck he was doing and why was a flatbed not used the driver explained OH Im just pulling it out of the yard so there are no additional Pond fees the driver then drove about 30 ft from the Pond (in a somewhat secluded area) DROPPED MY VEHICLE and drove off! I called to alert Allstate and was treated as if I was lying. And although this story sounds unbelievable - how dare you question my integrity when Ive already explained I was right there and witnessed the entire ridiculousness.- My vehicle was in the Pond for 3 weeks. 3 weeks! Which means - the 30 day rental covered on my policy had already been almost exhausted. Additionally, the investigation on the theft was still pending. And though the investigation eventually determined there was no involvement - on my part - in the theft. Which was also offensive but I understand policy and procedure...- I contacted the District Adjuster (Dean) after getting no satisfactory response from the Adjuster handling my case. Dean assured me the tow company will be reprimanded (I was informed they were released from their contract with Alstate) AND that I would be allowed a few extra days of use of the rental bc of the excessive length of time my vehicle was left in the Pond. Well. Dean reneged on his promise! I paid more than $800 after fees were added.- Finally I paid $799 in GAP insurance (also thru Allstate) which was a total waste of money! I did not get the full value of my vehicle from purchase date as I was told I would.- Very poor service in ALL areas of service!
Wasted my time they don’t reach back
