Absolutely wonderful. They were so fast, friendly, courteous and professional, and really knew what they were doing. Our move was quoted to take 4 hours and it took them exactly two hours, and they offered to come a few hours earlier than scheduled because they finished early with another move, which was better for us. They handled our things with care and did a great job. If I ever move again I will be giving One Move movers a call. My experience with the administrative office staff was also great. So helpful and excellent communication. Our whole move couldn’t have gone more smoothly. 10/10 fantastic. Very highly recommend.

Sergio and his team were fantastic from beginning to end. When they arrived, I had barely packed one box and was feeling overwhelmed by the task ahead, but they were completely unfazed and very pleasant to work with. They showed up on time, were methodical and efficient in their approach and seamlessly moved us from our second-story apartment into a house in one day. This is my second move with this company (the first move was East Bay to Peninsula; this time the move was within the same town). Fantastic job. Uhaul shorted me half the furniture pads I needed, and I have some pretty odd shaped furniture. Apparently not an issue for the trio that packed my apartment. Everything well secured and taken care of, and my truck had no business fitting as much as these guys were able to pack. Would use again, were I not leaving the Bay Area! Certainly would recommend to others.

Moving can be stressful, especially, when moving mid-week across town in the middle of a pandemic. I was SO pleased with the team of movers that graciously moved us on 3/2 to our new home. They did a great job disassembling, packing and assembling all our furniture without damage.The truck was sufficiently large to be able to take all our items in one trip.There is a discount for full cash payment vs. credit card. If onsite survey and quoting is not possible, I would recommend you have a video call or send pictures of furniture and details in an email to your move coordinator to get a more accurate quote. Our final cost was considerably higher than the initial estimate. This an area for the company to focus in on and improve. This also helps customers keep sufficient cash on hand to properly tip your good employees.For the hours they put in and specifically with all three of them on task I feel they earned the final cost of move + tips.The move crew were customer service focused and went the extra mile to make our move a success and truly pain free.Based on our experience I would certainly recommend you consider this company for your move.

One Move did a GREAT job with our recent move. They were efficient and fast, while also very carefully wrapping all our furniture and other belongings. They moved everything into the proper rooms in our new place, and even moved a few things back and forth, as we were trying to decide were furniture should go. They also put down carpet runners to protect the new carpet. The guys were really friendly as well.The COVID safety stuff was great as well. Wow! Where do I even start? First of all I’m pregnant, so my partner needed a lot of help moving from Palo Alto to San Leandro. One move movers quickly booked us an appointment! Suddenly, last Tuesday, I needed to find a moving service for the same week (I knew it would be impossible for the time window). After a quick web search, I put together a list of 5 companies. Luckily, two of them had one day available, and I ended up selecting this company focus on the service I got from the phone call (I thought if thats how they treat me on the phone, theyll probably treat the same way my furniture).Pablo, Cesar, and Hector showed-up on time Wednesday morning. From the beginning, they were very attentive/friendly, listened to, and understood my needs, and to be honest, I was surprised with the speed and professionalism with which they packed everything, and hands down for how they took off all my belongings and accommodated them in my new place. Definitely, highly recommended!P.s. I paid just what I was told I was going to pay, no surprises

The One Move helped us immensely. They were careful, efficient and hard working. We had a variety of things to move from many small breakable glasses to large bulky items such as beds and couches. They wrapped everything carefully and nothing was broken or even scratched during the move. One of the more impressive feats was their ability to move a 15 foot tall potted lime tree that had grown too big on our deck. Its not normally something they would do, but they figured out how to wrap it properly, guide it through the house, haul it up the stairs, and then fit it into the truck. There was no way we could have moved it ourselves. Overall, they did a great job and we would definitely hire them again.

One Move was consistently professional, on time, neat, communicative, helpful ... they really did a great job on all of our moves. We just finished our Long Distance move with One Move. They were amazing! We contacted them just a few weeks before and they were extremely responsive. They gave a completely reasonable quote and then confirmed a few days before move day.The pick up went so smoothly! Armando and his team showed up early, got right to work, and packed everything extremely well. They were efficient and friendly. We had 3 guys which made it go even faster and while we went a little longer than their estimate, there were no hidden fees and it was a very fair price at the end compared to what we had been quoted elsewhere. They delivery everything today and I was so impressed with their ability and how cautiously they handled all my furniture. I never thought moving from Bay Area to LA would be so easy, I’m very thankful for this guys.We will absolutely recommend and use them again if needed in the future!

Great team, led by Alex, who was fantastic all around.Jacob was terrific setting things up. Fran was professional, though contradicted Jacob on a few things related to timing and payment, which made me feel slightly uncomfortable.When the crew arrived, the owner came off as very sneaky and underhanded, saying it doesnt matter what they said, Im the owner, and I think this job will cost a lot more.If I hadnt scheduled so many things around moving day, I would have fired them on the spot, and taken significant action. That was completely rediculous, and Im glad he backed down. Whether that was a game the company played or just the owners personality, I would have given this company two stars if the rest of the move hadnt gone so well.The team was efficient and professional. Of the 3 movers, Alex was the only one who seemed fluent in English, which was totally fine. Everyone was in sync, very acommodating, kind, efficient, and took excellent direction.Unfortunately, the quote had a materials CAP of $500. I was told by both Jacob and Fran that there would be an inventory of materials, with anything less than the maximum used, credited ie refunded. At the end of the move, I heard an inventory wasnt taken and this discussion wasnt possible. I didnt want to keep the team out late, but could have counted boxes if I wanted to - and I bought and contributed 14 boxes, and packed 6 of them myself independently.All in all, it was a good experience. The charades with the owner and other blips werent too difficult to navigate, but I caution anyone who isnt comfortable negotiating to get a strongly worded contract in advance so there is no last minute haggling. The total time the team needed was exactly what was predicted - 5 hours with 3 men - and that was including a 15 minute delay while the owner was unconvinced of his attempts to gouge me.Alex and his team labeled everything, were very careful and super nice, wore masks the whole time, and did a great job moving things into storage.All in all, Id hire this company again if Alex was the team lead. As a long time business owner and advisor, I strongly think Alex, Fran, Jacob and the owner should sit down and all get on the exact same page, so there is one unified voice between team lead, dispatch, sales and management. That could help communications streamline and customer relations be happier all around.I tipped the team generously and felt they deserved it.Thanks everyone!

I had the opportunity to work with Armando, Pablo and Paul for my move. They were fast and professional. The called ahead more than 15 minutes in advanced to give me time to get to the packing location. They had equipment to make unloading fast (a collapsible ramp to go up the curb, tape to make the correct apartment). Price was fair. Response time was quick: every time I called to talk to dispatch, I did not have to wait on hold for too long.

This made the day far less stressful than it could have been with other movers. They were able to wrap up the few things we hadn’t so that saved us time. Did a move last weekend between bay area towns about 10 miles apart. Sara was very prompt via phone and email to give an estimate and setup move date/time. Movers called me an hour in advance before coming over. Did an excellent job packing, loading. At the destination, they carried it upstairs two stories as there is no elevator. They charge by the hour and did everything possible to finish it quickly. I have another move planned later this year and will definitely hire them.

Awesome move! All our stuff made it safely to the new place. It took them longer than estimated, but to be fair, they did not see either place beforehand. Plus there were longer distances to cover between the door and the van in both places.

I had never used movers before and was a little apprehensive about doing so, but the guys from The One Move were great. They were easy to book; I got an appointment with only a couple of days notice. They showed up early and had all of the necessary equipment. They got my entire apartment moved in a fraction of the time that it took 4 of us to move previously. They took apart all of the furniture, wrapped it all, and then reassembled it at the new location. They even brought wardrobe boxes for the hanging clothing! Mely moved my things this morning and they were awesome. They called to confirm when they would show up, arrived on time, and were very professional the entire time. All of my furniture was padded with blankets, wrapped in plastic, and fully protected during the move. Super smooth and quick experience with these guys...highly recommended!! Thanks The One Move!!!

Great service by One Move! Their online communication and estimate was easy and courteous. The movers Mely, Jose, Maya, and Martin worked carefully and efficiently all day - in the pouring rain and with a two story house, no less! All of our things arrived perfectly! I recommend them highly!

Amazing experience using these guys. Ive worked with a lot of movers, and Tony and his guys were definitely some of the best ones Ive worked with. They moved everything in, and unwrapped and assembled everything about twice as fast as I was expecting. The team was all very kind, friendly and patient with a complicated move. Kobi and his team been very amazing and helpful, its not easy moving a house while your wife is full time worker and 2 kids under the age of 10, i called them they came for an estimate, after reading reviews about other companies and how they trick clients, i was waiting for the hidden fees and it never came... i can recommend the one move and tell youll relax till the last second
