I agree with Bruces review. This business makes promises and agrees on a design needed You wait weeks to get a return appointment and they cancel the appointment the same day and you have to wait another month for an appointment. When you finally get the brace it is not the design agreed upon. The brace is haphazardly put together or plain broken and hurts the patient, and puts them at further risk for injury or fall. The staff blame eachother. There is 0 accountability. They refuse to make repairs to the broken brace. You leave several messages they lie and say they never got any of them. You send emails to the brace makers and owner and they dont respond. They lie and say they left messages when there are cell phone records those calls were never were made. They have you see unlicensed workers in the back and do this for months until the warranty runs out. They make you get another refferal to get paid for a whole other brace when the first brace was never wearable due to the errrors their office made. They make customers walk in painful faulty devices causing more medical issues. Causing the disabled customers to go back and forth to their office and to their doctors because of the medical issues the faulty broken braces caused The owner yells at his staff where patients can hear. The owner yells at customers calling them picky. Patients arent merely looking for a device they like. Their medical insurance is paying for a USABLE device that helps their already hindered bodies. I have left that office in tears twice! I am a government employee for LA county Medi-Cal programs for over 25 years and heard from my Medi--cal clients of places like this who bulk insurances with costs while giving patients the runaround but NEVER did i think we would be treated so unprofessionally This type of treatments should be illegal. The owner is aggressive and unprofessional. I hope no other patient goes through what me and my family went through
Sadly for our community this business is a Medicare and Medi-Cal billing factory. Customer support and product support is nonexistent. Evidently the entire purpose of this business is Medicare Medi-Cal billing NOT wellness and well-being of the patient. Remember, Medicare and Medi-Cal are receptive to our feedback. Businesses established for the single purpose of billing will be exposed and short-lived. Please help our community by reporting illegitimacy and supporting a proper legitimate patient focused business.Example. For a cervical collar that can be purchased on Amazon for $75 and 15 minutes with a “practitioner“ this business billed Medicare $533. Naturally I have reported this abuse to Medicare and my Medicare supplemental insurance policy carrier. The medical device is entirely inappropriate for my needs and has broken two times. After the second event the device was returned. Does anyone believe essential orthotics will return the money to Medicare?Why are antelope valley consumers treated as second rate? Why do we tolerate this? This business is here to make a quick buck while providing little to no service. These are nothing short of carpet baggers.
My husband is an amputee due to diabetes. He went over a year without walking due to not having a leg. Through our old insurance carrier we were sent somewhere else to get him a leg. He got one but it belonged on a dinosaur!! SMH.Then we switched ins companies and found Essential Orthotics and Prosthetics. What a blessing!! 🙏🙏🙏EVERYONE has been so supportive, kind, understanding and beyond words wonderful to both of us AND his emotional support dog!!If at all possible PLEASE make this your first place to go!! If not your first place, I will promise you it will be the last place!!

You have a choice in where you get your orthotics so I would insist your doctor chooses Essential Orthotics & Prosthetics for your device!Essential Orthotics resolved a problem with my brace that no one else had been able to fix for weeks and it improved my comfort and healing 100%.After an equestrian accident that resulted in a broken back and double surgery, a DIFFERENT company provided a back brace. I struggled with its fit during rehab and told the doctors and therapists about the pain and sores it caused. After four weeks, they arranged for me to see the provider who did nothing to resolve the fit and suggested I (with no orthotic training) try adjusting the straps. I was in constant pain and was making ZERO progress.A week later, a doctor suggested I try to see if a different orthotist would be willing to assist and he recommended Essential. They were not only willing to assist but refit the brace and made all of the required adjustments, eliminating the pain and ensuring the brace worked to my benefit. They did this with such kindness, skill, and professionalism.
The braces they delivered to me were not what was promised and hurt like hell! Also, over the course of four appointments I spent over 2 1/2 sitting in a room waiting to be seen . NOT a professionally run busines .

Trying to get a brace for a person who had a stroke. Took 3 months to get the brace due to the office never returning calls and the manufacturing of the brace messing up. Take appointments that show up late before appointments that are on time or early.
Braces took longer to arrive than to usual. Lack of communication from them. I still got a foot drop and waiting for the brace.
