Well, this incident is from 2012. But then my brother died and the whole matter was taken care of here so well and safely. My brother came from Germany and in the end had to be sent by post (through good friends). But the preparations and everything that went with it: Great !!!

Everything was good. Vanessa did a real nice job. My mom was beautiful. She looked and smelled great. Her nails and hair were on point. She was dressed neat in her attire. My only concern was pallbearers on the day of the funeral we’re not used to escort my mom’s casket. Also the hearse was attempting to leave without a proper good bye and send off for us the mourning family. Otherwise all was well and we appreciate Joshua Memorial. Thanks for asking.Darlene

Both Vanessa DeLeon and Katherine Letterman were attentive and caring during this distressing and frustrating process. They were very responsive and helped me navigate the unfamiliar process. Having had no prior arrangements they were immensely helpful and calming to work with. I felt that my father was in excellent care and we were treated kindly with respect and patience.

Very helpful when you need it most

From the second I called Chris after my father passed, he made everything very easy for my family and I. This was a very difficult time for me since my Dad and I were so close but I honestly couldn’t of asked for better people to help me get through this. I didn’t have to do much of anything. The arrangements were made and everything went perfectly. I would highly recommend Joshua Mortuary to anyone that wants their family members to be in good hands. Thank you so much Chris Figueroa for everything you’ve done to make this process go smoothly.

The worst funeral I have ever paid for and attended. Staff and Customer Service was unprofessional and just plain out awful. The services I paid for was not rendered. Bernadette ( Bernie) M. Russo is fully responsible for the displeased services. Staff gave guest outside obituaries and did not pass out the ones that where purchased with the package until I tasked where was the original ones. Staff did not display slide show that was part of the package. There was no announcement for catering that I paid for that should be compensated by reimbursement. My loved one funeral was a disaster.I have reached out to the Lancaster location where the funeral was held and the Manager Christopher Twitchell has yet to return my call.

Lurdes was very helpful and compassionate.I felt completely satisfied that I found a place that will take good care of my mom.

We just recently had a service in Lancaster for my cousin and I want to say how thankful I am to Patty. She is the Family Service Counselor. If ever you need help on knowing what to do she is the one to start with. I came to Joshua not knowing how to go about this. She walked me thru the whole process. From setting everything up to picking the plan to breaking everything down. She made it easy for me to come in with my aunt and have everything set up for her to make this process not stressful for her. She set and helped us so much that I was able to set everything up with her and she later set us up with Elizabeth who is the Funeral Director. Both of these ladies were so amazing and helpful. They did so much for us and I am so thankful to have come here. Patty came highly recommended and I would definitely say go to her and she will walk and explain everything that goes into having your service here. Thank you ladies for everything. Its never easy to bury or cremate a loved one. However, from my initial phone call with Chris i felt at ease and believed he had my mothers best interest. I knew it wouldnt be easy organizing my mothers arrangements but Chris was very understaning, patient and empathetic to my families needs and concerns. I appreciate his honesty and special care of my mother. Thank you again for helping us through this very difficult loss.

Everything was fine until I received my fathers ashes and the box was busted open and he barely fit in the bag. And he was hanging out of his box. I tried reaching out to see if I can receive a proper urn but noone responded.

Chris was very respectful and kind. He was able to walk us through the process and was very communicative.

My experience was a professional experience with Lurdes Huizar, very friendly and informative about her work. I did ask about how the grass was so dead, and she explained, hope it will improve.

Very unfortunate circumstances. The folks at Joshua Mortuary did a superb job, twice in six months. Cannot thank them enough for their respect and support.
