Honestly if I need any kind of pet advice whatsoever, I go to the Palm Springs Petsmart. James the manager is AMAZING!! He knows animals best and he truly cares ❤️ he’s not trying to make a buck or up sell you at all! Sometimes I go in there and I don’t even need any products he just gives me the proper advice because he’s super knowledgeable about pretty much any kind of pet you can think of!! He’s helped me with all of my pets and saved me so much grief 😍 I’m super grateful for James and he always has a really nice staff working for him. If they’re not sure they always ask James instead of trying to guess or give you the wrong information. I recommend this store and I highly recommend James he’s an expert ❤️

Bought over $500 stuff for my BRUNOAdopted BRUNO Sat May 29th from Palm Springs Animal Shelter. Love at first sight. He was born 5/30/19.

My daughter works here........I love pets smart brought our cat to shop here lucky íwe did too the cat dodger harness was way too small got to wait for bigger ones to come in dodger loves his cat fountain and buy the crystals for cat litter dont even know theres a cat they are a little pricy but if you want better quality food or product than I recommend pet smart in palm springs

I found the small animal formula and bottles that I needed. The staff there are friendly and helpful. The prices were a bit on the high side. But they have well stocked shelves. I will definitely return.

Please dont bring dogs in that are not fully vaccinated. I always see puppies way younger than 16 weeks in these stores but that is just asking for a virus (parvo) that is 90 % lethal to the young ones. It can be tracked into your home via shoes, returned toys etc.

I really like this particular store. The staff is so friendly and always helpful. I will say though that the lines at the registers can be painstakingly slow, even when theres more than one person working them. That is a little frustrating to be honest. I took my two rescues to be groomed there today. First time Ive ever used the grooming service at PetSmart. Im very particular about who I let groom my dogs and they were fantastic! Not only did they do a wonderful job on both of them but they offer options other groomers dont. You pay extra for those options of course but even with the extra services I ordered, I still came out a hundred dollars cheaper than any of the other groomers Ive used. Needless to say, Ill be a return customer.

Bought a beautiful bird, a powder blue parakeet to accompany my loneliest little parakeet. And they dont call them lovebirds for nothing. The duo are perfect.My lonely parakeet was a screaming Mimi before I brought him into the picture.Bought a mirror perch for them and some nutritious seed.

Some of the employees don’t have much knowledge about some animal species but they try to help you to the best of their ability. Also here is where I bought my two beautiful budgies .

My experience was in grooming! Brought my 5 month yorki puppy in and the girl working on him was very rude and my dog came out traumatized, I talk to the manager whom copt my next visit so I took my 10 yr old long haired dauchound in for grooming, I went over everything with Rachel that i wanted done witch did at any time include cutting her ears. So guess what she did cut them. I have never had her ears cut ever, they were all natural and her response was opps. So they dont follow what the customer is asking or not asking to have done and the same with the yorki, she did a different cut then what I asked for. I will not be going back

Love pet smart!!! They sell our brand dog food, Eukanuba, and the XL puppy pads we like, they have a wide variety of food, toys, treats and training supplies as well. They offer training classes, I have not used them for training, but have witnessed a training session while shopping. The trainer sounded knowledgeable and was doing this particular class out in the store isles, as she was training the pets to listen and focus on the owner with distractions around... They have a special area for training too. They also have the Petsmart Grooming Salon (havent used yet, have an appt the 31st Ill update then) and Banfield pet hospital inside, separately ran from Pet Smart, but inside the store. I love Banfield as well, not only is it conveniently located inside my favorite pet store they have an annual health plan thats affordable and includes unlimited office Visits, you have to pay for meds, extra procedures/test or labs, but if youre a paranoid pet parent or a cautious one like my husband, he says better safe then sorry with our babies... Unfortunately I feel like the employees arent as helpful or as knowledgeable as the other pet store is...

Be carful, i bought albino and cory catfish from this branch and they have ick and it spread in whole my tank, ends up with 2 of my old fancy goldfish died i have them for almost 6years ☹️, and now i am treating my tank with ick treatment to save my other fishes

Accidents do happen, but dropping my fish bag, none of my fish lived. This has happened twice in two years. So it was a accident. If it happens again i wont take the fish.

Employees were pretty cool, only went to walk around my dog since its cold outside, and even offered me advice and treats, I think we were there an hour legit walking aimlessly and it was nice of them for letting me do that

Horrible. Waited forever for someone in fish. Only for that someone to tell me they pushed a button and someone will be here. Well no one showed so went to check out. Store manager opened a register for us and we told her and she could care less. At the end she said well goodbye. We will never go to petsmart again. #petcoisbetter

I groom my two dogs here three to four times a year I also by all my pet food here when I took my dog in today he had a little limp and shes telling me that hes injured he is not injured hes got arthritis hes an older dog and they refuse to groom him Im pretty much done with the attitude she had towards me and Im finding another groomer Im also going to buy my pet food somewhere else too very disappointed and the way she treated me telling me my dog was injured its got arthritis

I am so impressed with the grooming dept!! I have a standard poodle so not the easiest to cut. Being a growing puppy her hair matted easily. Not only did they give her a beautiful cut every time we have gone but they also showed me how to brushed her properly to make the hair cuts easier. She’s had 2 different groomers and both were just wonderful!! Great price, great service, and the store is not the prettiest but all the staff is knowledgeable. I had dietary questions and got a great answer with a great product recommendation. On the outside Petsmart may not be as glitzy as the other place... but the staff, the products, the veterinarian, the groomers are ALL top notch❣️

Took fur baby in for grooming for the first time. My only issue was that the grooming dept is at the back of the store & I have copd so the walk was rough for me. Next time I will see if they can come get him at the car.

They are selling Aquarium combos that are missing items. I returned a 55 gallon combo because it was missing the LED lights. The manager on duty was rude. I watched her tape up the 55 gallon combo I returned, and put it back on the shelf for sale. She did this knowing it was missing items. I wont be going back. Pet CO is better anyways.

We were traveling in our RV with out dog Nugget and he needed a bath. We normally bath him at home but it is hard to do in our motor home so we made an appointment for him. Apparantly our groomer had not showed up so there was a little delay until they squared the issue away but then took him and did a great job. Have always been happy with their service and have been to multiple locations.
