I called looking for a good refrigerator repair company. I was given their name by another shop that couldnt do the work. I was transferred to aphone bank. I explained what I need and was meet with a rude we dont have anything until next week. No questions about the type of fridge, the problem Im having, no discussion about how much they charge for a service call, nothing. Just a quick follow up of What day do you want.I called All Valley Appliance right after and was meet with a much more pleasant person on the phone. She freely offered all the information that I need about service charges, parts, and tax. They were much nicer to work with and much less expensive.Dont bother with Sun Appliance

The service person they sent Chris,Was very knowledgeable and professional and courteous. He reassured us our machine would be repaired in due time. He was very fast and efficient and reliable.Definitely a quality service orientated repair Man. Good to know there’s another reliable service out there that does their job well. Thank you very much. Okay so Dave had the Service tech right back to my home with in 5 minutes like he said.So thank you for that. But the appointments to be made on the day of service with a phone call between 8:30 and 9 am to tell us when our appointment is for that day is not good.Not the friendliest person that answers the phone either but the work is good.

Scheduled my service through MAYTAG. The process was very quick. Sun Appliance responded and scheduled the work. They arrived on time, called before arriving. The service technician was professional and had the right tools to find a screw within the drum of the dryer. Thank you and will recommend and use this company again.

Use All Valley AppliancesThis service Sun Appliances wants to call you at 930 am for you appointment that day.They will not schedule you prior to so you have to wait at home and then be there when they come.I waited 2 weeks for this appointment and they called me while I was on a run and said we arw rescheduling you cause I wasnt home. Well they didnt call till 9:30 and expected me to be there.Horrible way to run the business..

I purchased a new dryer from Lowes and within 40 days the dryer was making a horrible noise. I went on line to Maytag and they sent this problem to Sun Appliance. This was very easy and Sun Appliance was quick to respond and the problem was fixed with-in 5 minutes of them arriving. Great work!!!

$98 sevuce call. $70 for filter housing part. $262.00 to come out again andfix. Wow about 430.00 for an part replacement. Too expensive here only 15 minutes to access situation. Seems unreadonable...Ill need to figure out how to do myself.im sorry I tried to work with sun appluance.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. We had a new dryer that went out called for service they were here twice before they thought they fixed it. We called them back for the same problem and we were told that they would not schedule another appointment until we had the power checked.we did $ 85.00 later they have had to come out several other times and have still not fixed it. They wont reimburse for the electrician that they requested before they would schedule an appointment even though it was under warranty. They said that the owner would contact me and still waiting.

Our just over 1 yr old Whirlpool side by side fridge stopped making ice and was not cooling. Charles came out today and within an hour diagnosed the problem, explained how it probably happened and guided us on how to make sure it hopefully wont happen again. Desert temps can get very HOT, and we did not realize that if you leave in the summer and temps in the house get over 80 degrees, you will compromise its cooling ability. Unplug and remove food, if you are gone for extended periods in warm weather. And putting bottles of water in both the fridge and the freezer will help maximize efficiency too! Thanks Charles! Excellent customer service! My appliance malfunctioned and luckily I bought a warranty. Sun appliance was contracted to come troubleshoot and I was very pleased. A representative called the morning of the appointment to give me a 3 hour window and called again to let me know the technician was arriving. I had the pleasure of meeting Felipe Campos and he was so knowlegable about what was happening to my applicance and was able to replace the broken piece right then and there. Felipe is a great asset to this company!

Chris is a great service tech. Hes fast, knowledgeable, and personable as well... a rare combination. When a bad combination of wiring shorts created a situation which was going to cost me as much as I had paid for my washing machine, the manager gave me honest, sensible advice and saved me from throwing good money after bad. I am disgusted with Maytag, but very satisfied with the service I received from Sun Appliance.

Do not use this company. You make an appointment 2 days later they want to reschedule to a week later. Do not waste your time. Wasted time thinking they were going to show up while I could have been getting a different company.

I scheduled an appointment two weeks ago because this company only comes to 29 Palms (we live on base) on Thursday. My appointment was from 9:00-10:30 arrival time, so I have been sitting and waiting and no one has arrived. The company called to tell me that Jose checked in on base, yet the base wouldnt give him access for over an hour, which isnt true. So, I called the front gate and they told me that Jose has not checked in at all, they even confirmed with the gate sentries that no one named Jose with Sun Appliance tried to access base. This company straight out lied to me. After reading some of the reviews listed here, I can see why. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME with this company, they are liars. Wasted my morning and the last two weeks waiting for them.

Had a little problem with my stinkin Microwave. Sun Appliance Service Guy Knew exactly what happened & had seen before. To make a long story short, ordered 2 new parts and fixed in a flash! Works like NEW! Not only did this Gentleman fix he also pointed out another quick fix with a part to my Dishwasher. Boom! Fixed! I would Highly Recommend Sun Appliance for any work you may need with appliances you have at Home. They know what theyre doing & are very familiar with Most All Brand names! Thanks Sun Appliance!

Just called to make an appt., WOW the service call quote was a astronomical $95 just to get a diagnoses with an extra charge for the use of their tools. And none (0) of the $95.00 service call fee is put towards the repair. I got 3 other quotes by phone and your repair service fee is $25.00 higher than the others on average and they also applied and deducted the initial fee to the final amount after taxes! Your way to expensive for your competition. Now, I understand the bad reviews Ive read about your company. Not good!!!

We bought a Whirlpool Dryer from Home Depot. The latch broke. Home Depot scheduled a service call for today to fix it. Sun Appliances took it upon themselves to reschedule the appointment until 7/25 at the last minute. We had already made arrangements for someone to be at the house between 8 am and 4 pm to wait for the service person. Not good service at all. I am calling Home Depot to find another service center.

While they appear to be competent and are backed by Maytag their scheduling needs a lot of improvement. We requested a repair for Tuesday. On Tuesday they told us that we had requested Wed. which was not true. Now we have to wait until Thursday as we cannot have the repair on Wed.

I have had them to my house three times over 10 years...each time they have been able to fix the appliance problem (on 3 separate Kitchen Aid appliances). They have been great to work with, and have charged reasonable rates.

Sun Appliances did not show up for appointment I was told I had. The tech came 4 days ago and shut off my icemaker due to leaking somewhere which was freezing in the ice bin. He said he needed to thaw the icemaker to work on it. I understand that. Sooo, he tells me hes coming back today, Mon, 4 days later. So Im waiting and waiting. No tech. I call. Apparently I have no appointment. The tech failed to inform them he needed to come back. Clearly no communication between tech and main office. Very disappointed, I really needed to be somewhere else but postponed it for my appointment

I have a brand new Maytag washer machine from Lows and so I have a warranty for 5 years on it. I will say that Lows gave me Sun appliance services number to call and me was this a mess they found a hole in the bottom of the tube waited until the part came in and then they said my washroom was to small to work in so they took my washer for a week then get it back and some idiot Brooke the wire box on it so now I have to wait again for it to get fixed the right way . Would never use these people ever again they are rude and disrespectful to me so you need to think twice about using these rip off people.

They quoted me a price to convert my dryer from propane to natural gas. Once the work was completed, they charged me more money! Bad customer service. Owner refused to listen to me! Said his Technician told him I authorized additional services. I did not!! They charged my credit card an additional $65.00 for their lies.
