They changed my watch battery and set the time and date for ten bucks, didnt take long while I waited. They have an awesome selection of clocks. For any and all watch or clock repair these are definitely your guys.

Norm at this clock shop is so rude!! If you’re lucky enough you can get some professionalism from George who is kind and does a great job on repair. I do not recommend this place, not worth the way you are treated by Norm.

The jewelers at Certified clock and watch repair are amazing! I stopped by just to see if my watch was even worth repairing as it was stopping and not keeping time properly after just having the battery replaced at another popular battery and repair store. The jeweler went into the back to take a quick look and no more than 10 minutes later came out and explained to me what had happened when the battery was replaced. He didnt charge me a dime and said check it out for a day or so and let me know how it works. My watch hasnt lost one minute since I left the store. Thank you so very much gentlemen for your wonderful customer service!

I brought a watch In to have some links taken out. They did it right there in 5 10 mins. Only charged me $5 bucks. I only had my charge card and she said she couldnt run it for that small an amount and to just bring it to her later. I thought that was really nice and extraordinary so I wanted to share. I will go back. And I was able to find $5 in quarters to pay though 😁

I brought 2 watches in for repair, the guy said it would take a couple of weeks for repair. I was advised he would call me when he got pricing on the parts before any repairs were done. I called a week later and was told someone would call me back, still no response. I went in a week later and was advised he has not had time to get to it yet. A week later I went in again. He called for pricing when I was in the shop, which pricing sounded reasonable, but stated it would take another 2-3 weeks for repairs. I got my watches back with intent to take them somewhere else for repair.

We just got back our beehive Seth Thomas clock today. George once again did excellent work. I met Norm today when I picked up the time piece. He was friendly, had a masterful knowledge of clocks and is full of anecdotes on the clock trade. Ive brought my grandfathers coo coo clock to this shop twice in the last twenty years for repair. Theyre one of the few clock shops in the area that will work on coo coos anymore. George did marvelous work in the repair. If you have an heirloom clock youre trying to revive this is the place. No exaggeration in saying this is the only place I go to for this type of work. The only place I trust. You cant do better than bringing that time piece here!

Took my victorinox watch to get the battery replaced. They quickly changed it and it was a very fair price. Trust me, this shop has been here for many years and can fix & clean all kinds of clocks & watches. Highly recommended.

Old School clock store...really know what they are talking about...I grew up in a jewelry store and my father was a clock and watch repair man...If you have older clocks or watches these are the gentlemen you need to see.

For the past several years, this business has been my go-to shop for watch repair and cleaning. They have always been prompt, courteous, informative and moderately priced while delivering excellent work. Just picked up my husbands watch that he recieved when her retired. The battery leaked acid inside. Certified was able to order new parts and fixed the watch, which I had thought was gone forever. Thank you so much.

Took my real natural pearls and replaced them with smaller light weight Pearls., took forever to get the necklace back. My real natural pearls were never returned., the weight was different than my pearls I left there to get re-strung. They are crooks. The whole family. A person can tell by the weight of pearls the ones I received were not the ones I left there. VERY DISAPPOINTED THEY WII NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN. I BET HIS WIFE ARE WEARING MY BEAUTIFUL PEARLS. THE HUES ON MY PEARLS WERE SO BEAUTIFUL THE ONES I GOT BACK DO NOT HAVE A HUE AT ALL. SHAME ON NORMAN. I KNOW IM NOT THE ONLY ONE HE RIPPED OFF. As I have said once before, this is a privately owned spot and the owners are awesome!

I love clocks and we have many. My favs are ones that are key wound and I have been neglectful with their care, primarily because I wasnt sure who I could trust with them. I got a recommendation for The Clock Shop in Palm Harbor and Im so happy I did.We made the trip up from South Pinellas County and dropped of several clocks, some key-wind, some battery operated. Must to my surprise and delight, I learned that they also service Grandfather clocks and one of their employees, Jorge Acosta, also lives in Pinellas County. He agreed to come to my home and remove the Grandfather clock face (and attached works) and do the repair/replacement of necessary parts.Since that time, Jorge has returned all the clocks I originally dropped off, saving me the trip back to Palm Harbor. I have also tasked him with taking additional clocks with various issues (all need cleaning, oiling on a regular basis - shame on me); some were very much overdue for maintenance.Soon, all of the clocks I enjoy will be back home with us, in fine shape for years to come. Now that I have The Clock and Watch Shop to help me with their care, I can regularly schedule cleaning and maintenance for them and keep up with this important step. Rotating them every few years will make it more affordable.Replacement parts and cleaning key-wind clocks can be expensive, but I feel we have paid a fair price. Repairs have cost from between $20 to as high as $375 for another. All combined, it was a bit much, but again, this was more my fault for neglecting the clocks. Had they been serviced regularly, they would not have needed parts replaced.I have also been educated about regularly replacing batteries in the more modern clocks. Batteries, over time, leak acid, whether you can see it or not. Battery operated clocks need to have batteries replaced once a year, even if the battery still works.Thanks to this information from Jorge, Ive made calendar reminders to swap batteries along with the time change - and our smoke detectors get new batteries once a year, regardless of the predicted battery life.Changing the batteries regularly will save on additional repair because it will keep the battery-operated clocks from failing and then requiring new parts, due to the acid damage.Yes, it takes time to repair clocks, and sometimes 2-3 weeks is required. Perhaps longer, depending on your situation. Still, I highly recommend The Clock & Watch Shop (and have!) if for any clock or watch. They do a regular business and constantly have clocks cycling in and out of their shop (which means they are busy, so please have patience!).Give them a call, and dont be put off if youre not physically nearby. Honestly these guys are crooks. There business isnt even active anymore on Sunbiz. They probably not paying their taxes. They are the most rude people in town. Norman T Nailos will hijack your jewelry and will not release it to you until you pay an absurd amount of money for work not even done. Norman lives with his Wife Jennifer at 351 Florida Ave in Crystal Beach if you are ripped off and want to go try and get your money back. Crooks!

Brought 2 watches to Norman Nailos to be fixed. 4 weeks later we go to check on them and he denies we ever brought them to him. He stole our watches and yelled at us to get out of his store!. We are filing a lawsuit in Pinellas against him now. Do not go here.

These guys are my go to place for maintaining my vintage watch collection. They have been for 10 years now and not one they serviced has ever failed.

Must have changed hands, this guy would not give me the time of day, had a customer he was assisting, one customer he could not get me out of the store fast enough . I wanted to get value two watches that were left to me, my father went to this shop for years and was never treated the way I was, I drove up from clearwater to see if I could use watches toward a trade to a coo coo clock, guess not, anyone know any good clock and watch shop other then this one, please let me know .

Went for a battery in my Calibri watch. They took my watch apart inserted battery, but couldnt get the watch back together..They told me a special gig was needed to put the back on. Two months later still no watch. I went to pick up my watch to take it to Sears watch.shop who put it back together. Ruby the owner tried to charge me for a battery .Ruby was very nasty when i asked for my watch and refused to pay. I ltook my watch away in a bag full of pieces

The place is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. because when i asked him to fix my watch, he broke my watch. i asked him to fix my watch again for free. Well he did but he refused to fix the watch for free.he said either we paid $15 or get out of here. he even yelled at us and said bad words to us.ive never seen anybody with unrespectable service and i DEFINITELY WONT BE COMING BACK EVER AGAIN. mark my words. the service is bad and the owner was stupid and MEAN!!!!!!!!!!!!DONT TRY TO GO THERE!
