Expecting a lot more from a resort course. Loved the elevation changes. Greens were good. The layout is a more problem. Where youre trying to hit 200 to 250 yard tee shots and only have 15 yard wide landing area, thats not fund for the average golfer. Cart paths either dont exist or are broken pavement. Pro shop looks like it hasnt been updated in 40 years. Staff was super. Its just the course really needs maintenance and figure out a way make it more enjoyable versus such tight fairways. No way would I play again just because of the layout.

The landscaping throughout is beautiful! Cute and clean lodging but does not qualify for a resort!Beware there are NO ELEVATORS & they charge 20% gratuity for every food/drink purchase on top of their already overpriced items. Quality of food and drinks were very good though. Hallways do smell old and musty but room was really clean. Staff was friendly but reservation ladies have poor communication amongst themselves. They definitely need to make notes of conversations they have had with there customers about pricing, amenities etc. Diana had no clue about information that Joy had given me about our room since there werent any notes. Due to so MUCH back and forth Judy gave me and my girls and upgrade at no cost. However at check out we were being charged. Again because there werent any notes!

Was there for a night and it was a great experienceMore than enough parking space for both visitors and residents, room had a living room, bathroom/toilet, bedroom with balcony and a kitchenette, (refrigerator, cooking utensils, coffee maker, oven, dishwasher etc)First of all, no room service available, but there are restaurants around and quite easy to locate. They could do better with demarcation and signs to help new customers find their way around the premisesFinally, it’s a big function golf course with nice views.

Packards Steakhouse presented an excellent Filet Mignon. The staff at Salamander front desk were pleasant, courteous and helpful. Jake in the pro shop was also a pleasure to interact with and golf knowledgeable! The Copperhead pro shop was far less cordial. We were refused the opportunity to drive the cart paths as is customary even at Pebble Beach. A lame excuse of “too much play” on a rainy Friday late afternoon. I stood down by the entrance to the Snake Pit for 20 min and saw no golfers! I golf and understand golf etiquette while visiting. He could use some customer service refresher courses.

Our family stayed at Innisbrook for a reunion that was planned a year in advance. Upon check-in, two rooms booked out of the dozen, and one of them ADA necessary, was at a completely other end from the rest of the family. The villas are in a rental pool so things change but at no time did I get correspondence from a representative from Innisbrook telling me they had to change the room configuration. During the year of correspondence with group booking I dealt with four different representatives. I assume there is turnover but even so, it should be seamless to the consumer. The room our family stayed was infested with little german cockroaches in the kitchen and would come out mostly at night or when you opened a drawer. This is not resort style rooms. We told Innisbrook when checking out and even sent an email to people with the last name of Williams and McKay, but they never responded. Some of our family were members of Innisbrook in the very beginning and since hosted several reunions; this is the first time to be disappointed. This use to be a nice place to stay, but they need to reevaluate the customer service and quality of Innisbrook and rekindle that experience from the past.

Love the atmosphere, food is amazing always. I wish theyd get their colossal fish sandwich back the way it once was. It was always impressive. I go there once a month with friends sometimes twice we have a regular bartender who we thoroughly enjoy and find very friendly. However the bartender that was there was younger and not as friendly and the service was considerably slower as she seem to cater to a younger crowd. But overall its a very good experience almost always!

Unfortunately, at checking we were given a dirty room. Not just dirty, but as if the person jest checked out dirty. The front desk made right by the situation by giving us a room upgrade and free pass for apps and drinks in the restaurant. That was fine except the nightstands in our room were disgusting. Circle cup marks AND another circle mark and marks around it. It was clearly the landing spot for a used condom.I will say our dining experience was excellent! Unfortunately, the restaurant will suffer if the resort does not do its part.

Just spent the weekend at Innisbrook with my whole family and we really had a great time. Lots of swimming pools to chose from and slides for the grandkids. Dinner and entertainment plus the staff were extra courteous and gave us all the help we needed. Also, I brought a bicycle with me and its great riding around the miles of roads with light or no traffic. Great community.

My family has stayed on this property twice. Our initial stay 2017 was amazing. Our second, Memorial weekend 2021 was alright. Many of the family activities were non-existent this stay, and our cleaning service was horrible. The linens were dirty, along with two towels, which were insufficient. The property is beautiful, but our dinner service was also horrible initially. Our waitress literally threw straws and paper coasters at us. I had to request a different waiter.

First Night at Innisbrook -- the day started out great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food and atmosphere at the Bar restaurant was excellent and I enjoyed playing the island course today. However, we were laying day for the night, it went from 5 star to 1. I drew the short straw and ended up with the pullout couch. When I pulled out the mattress it was covered in rat feces! Now we waited over a hour for someone to find us a new room.

We loved this resort and the overall experience, aside from this one safety issues, which I hope they address before someone gets hurt.Pros:1- Clean comfortable rooms.2- Nice gym.3- Nice pool with 2 pretty nice slides. Other smaller pools as well.4- Staff were very polite and had high level of customer service.Cons:1- No refregerators. I got 2 little kids so i had to have one for their milk. Luckily I brought my own cooler.2- No elevator. We were in the 3rd floor.3- life guards at the pool are likely not well trained. No supervision over them either. It THUNDERED a few times and they did NOT get people out of the pool. That is a huge safety issue!4- No black out curtains in our room. We were in 3359 (St Andrewa building) so you can not really sleep in if you wanted to. Also blinds were not working to were you tilt or make it go up and down. So that was a bit annoying.

OH BOY... I have so many different experiences about this place. Many good and bad. I actually worked here at the Lochness pool. After knowing how they treat their workers my level of respect for the company tanked. I grew up just across the street from Innisbrook so it was always really cool to see the PGA tour come to town. The golf courses are definitely overrated and your money is better spent at some other courses in the Tampa area or Orlando if youre willing to make the drive. I have 0 respect for the owner of the establishment. I know way too many things than i should about them and about some of the ways theyve treated other businesses theyve worked for. Unless youre a millionaire that wants to spend money at a VERY average hotel room, dont go here.

We were charged $3000 more than my confirmed reservation a day after check in. On the second day, The Reservation Manager Ashley came out and told me she was fixing my reservation so I didnt have to come get a new key every few days because of the way I was booked. Instead she added on $3000 to my stay. When I asked her why she did this.. she told me it was a surcharge fee for golf. I also was told at check in my 2 room suite was not available that I reserved and they wanted to give me a suite with 2 twin beds instead of double /queen bed. I tried to speak with and meet with the Managing director Mike Williams with no success. During my time at the front desk on 3 different days, it was a common occurance to hear the front desk state, sorry we do not have that room available but we have this...... Bait and switch comes to mind. As far as the golf goes. The North course was in horrible shape. The Island and Copperhead were in excellent condition. However, they neglected to share the Copperhead course would be cart path only. Also, areas would be blocked off in the fairways, you would have to move your ball and not play if you landed in these areas. Still paid full rate to play the course. I did email and give proof of my confirmed reservation and rate to the managing director/gm whom has done nothing to date of this review. I was told he took personal day off after I sent him this information and he would not call me back. Huge disappointment in the response from management when reservation fraud was made.

I was part of a large womens event there this past weekend. We played the South Course for several days. It was in terrible condition. The staff are very nice and helpful, and the golf resort itself was great. However, our room had a laundry list of issues:- after waiting 3 hours, our room still took 30 mins later than the stated check in time- despite mask required signs everywhere, the staff had no issues with allowing 30 maskless idiots crowd the lobby while we waiting to check-in. Apparently we are busy was a passable excuse for not enforcing masks here in Florida. Color me shocked.- Our room wasnt vacuumed and had toenail clippings and hair all over the floor- There was a rat trap in the room- There was something missing from the bathroom wall- The entrance to our building had a sign on it stating that there was a sex offender in the building, but was quickly taken down within a few hours- The room keys stopped working

Four golf course with excellent layouts at over $300 per round each. I realize its February, but 3 of the 4 shouldnt be over $75 tops. Too expensive for their condition. North and South are in goat ranch description category. Too bad. Could be nice.

Review №55

Both Copperhead nd Island are outstanding courses and must be played. Its currently cart paths only on Copperhead ahead of the late April PGA a tour event the Valspar Championship. The course is in pristine condition and is probably the best conditioned golf course I have played. Because of the virus the resort is not booking its usual conference and convention business so the courses were uncrowded and we played for 3 days with almost no one in front or behind us. Their platinum package is outstanding. For about $1,000 each with double occupancy you get 2 nights and 3 days, 4 rounds of golf on whatever courses you wish (we played Island and Copperhead 2X each). Breakfast, Lunch, unlimited range balls, our hotel room and $30 each merchandise credits in the pro shop. How do you beat that given the quality of the courses. For my money I wouldnt bother with their North and South courses. They are OK but nothing nearly as nice and Copperhead and Island. The rooms frankly need updating but were adequate but its the golf thats the big draw. Food by the way was excellent. Enjoy!

We had a nice view from our room that was the highlight. The service at the clubhouse was great food good..however the rest was disappointing. We paid for our stay foyr days up front in full before we arrived. Secind day being there they had a hold on my card for 1100 dollars so i called and was told typically they hild 100 a night for incidentals..however we were only staying 2 nights. They could not exolain the hild was told a manager would get in touch and never did. Called back in the evening and was told it was booking.com holding the miney so i called them and they said it was not and boiking.cim called the resort and explained it was nit them...however still no call from the manager at the resort for explanation of the enormous hold. In short they were trying to double charge. Miney was finally replaced 2 days after check out. I spent a couple hours trying to sort it out and they could not even give a courtesy call to me..terrible mngt. Then someone from maintenance came in our room without or knowledge to repair a leak that we were unaware of and left us without hot water fir a whole day. Rooms outdated. So needless to say for the money paid to go here it was definately NOT worth it..would NEVER go back

Based on the existing reviews, this could have been bad luck, COVID related, or just our expectations, but excluding golfing at Copperhead, this was a forgettable trip. My buddy and I also golfed Island and South, both were forgettable. Courses were in rough shape, carts were ancient, perks were scarce and we were rushed off the Island course because of a member tournament that was scheduled the same day. The food across the property was decent, customer service was average, check-in/out process was a cluster, golf staff was average. Ive had friendlier and more welcoming staff at a local muni course, which is crazy based on how much the trip cost us. Copperhead was the highlight and one of the best courses Ive ever played, so as stated, it was the only exception. Just meh.

We only played the Copperhead Course and were not guests at the resort. The Copperhead was tough but playable for a 20 handicapper like myself. Greens were in great shape, fast and true. Fairways also in good shape. Tee boxes could use a little work and some of the bunkers had been washed out by the previous days rain. All in all, a great day of golf. My only disappointment was finding out that the copperhead snake statue at the beginning of the Snake Pit was made of heavy plastic rather than bronze or some other similar metal.

The guys in the bagroom and working the carts had us loaded up and ready to go each day. Claire was assigned to our group and helped get everything set up with rooms, meals, tee times and pairings. Each day she met us at the course and checked in on everything. She was great! Our last day we got held up with some rain for our morning round.
