The office/front desk/check out staff offer calloused responses, charge you the full reasonable and customary amount of your visit, and speak so loudly that any form of private confidential communication is non-existant. I arrived early and on-time for my appointment to be called back to a room 20 minutes later than my appointment; only then to wait an additional 15 minutes to be seen by the physician. If I hadnt been over charged $250 for my initial visit, then to be told that my follow up appointment that was considered included as part of the initial visit only to be told by the check out staff that because I had been seen that it is a chargeable visit, left me with bitter disappointment with this provider.

Steve is the best!! I recommend him to everyone that asks me about a dermatologist. He is thorough, explains everything he is doing and makes your appointment fun too! Steve can never leave!! Everyone in the office is so professional and efficient. This is how every doctors office should be run. I truly appreciate the timely appointments and caring manner.

Went to Advanced Dermatology for the first time. Everyone was pleasant. Did not feel overly rushed. The PA (Tara) was very thorough, informative, and professional.

Dr. Moon is very personable and listens to you unlike Dr Chavda who just pushed me out the door saying I had acne when I really had a staph infection. If you go to Bay Dermotology make an appt with Dr Moon.

This was a great experience. I was seen by Tara Duquette PA. She was very nice and knowledgeable. The procedure was seamless and comfortable. The check in staff was also courteous and prompt. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere.

Clean facility and super friendly staff. The doctor I would love to give 5 stars but due to the fact the entrance is very inaccessible for wheel chairs, it was a struggle getting my grandfather through the door. Otherwise I would recommend this facility.

Earlier today I called asking for a later appointment if possible, to which they told me they were booked. This was understandable.What is not understandable is going to my prescheduled appointment and WAITING AN HOUR.50MIN after my appt I went up to the desk to ask how much longer it might be. Not only did I find out that my provider was running way behind schedule (a heads up would have been nice) but also, that the patients I had watched walk in after me and be taken back before me (who I had hoped we’re just seeing a different provider in the office) had appts after mine and were wrongfully taken back before me.Even this would have been understandable, but unfortunately this was not the first time I experienced this with this office. I will be finding a different provider, hopefully with more personable office staff.

Spent little time awaiting to be called in for my appointment. The PA took his time to assess my needs and answer questions as usual. I have been going to Advanced Dermatology by personal reference for several years. Quality of service has remained consistently high.

The hour wait was unexpected, but luckily I was able to remain to see Dr. Tara that day. I think that this was unusual but will try to avoid too many appointments in the future.

My son had scheduled and paid for a Derm visit with another Dr. elsewhere. I knew something wasnt right from that appt and scheduled to see Dr Duquette. NIGHT AND DAY experience! She was incredibly thorough, touched, inspected with magnifying glass and yes that area of concern was squamous cell that other Dr denied!

Ever since Dr. Albergo joined a big dermatology group, the service has been impersonal and today very disappointing! Someone called according to my caller ID. I also received an email and a text message confirming my appointment. When I arrived, after cancelling my morning for this, I was told that Tara was not there and we called. No apology. Nothing. My time is valuable and I dont deserve this treatment. I am transferring my business, after 20 YEARS here, to another doctor.

This is the 2nd office location Ive been to of Advanced Dermatology. And believe me----the difference betwixt Palm Harbor and Tampa is night and day! Trust me----ALWAYS GO TO PALM HARBOR.....and be seen by Dr Robert Albergo. I was seen by a PA in Tampa office last year. Suffice it to say that appointment started shaky and rapidly declined.My only issue with Palm Harbor office was the extra long wait I had to endure. Over 45 minutes. Not acceptable. So office staff gets a 3 STAR rating at best. Dr. Albergo gets this 5 STAR rating on his merit, experience, decorum, and attitude.Wow!Great cred hanging on office walls---Notre Dame grad....University of Rochester School of Medicine....and best of all---member of MENSA.Seldom do I see prestigious diplomas...but these schools have much higher respect level than many foreign schools. And you can google Mensa if need be. Safe to say Dr. A knows a thing or two about a thing or two!Very humble, timely (was in my room mere minutes after nurse took vitals) and friendly. He asked me questions----listened and answered....all the while examining me thoroughly for any skin areas affected by that mean ole Mr. Sol. (The sun.....)He found a few spots he froze off.....and the deftly removed a skin tag off my eyelid....which entailed a pain shot and a hot laser. Not the finest aroma....Dr. Roberts attitudes and professional treatment would be enough to ensure my annual return....ADD in Notre Dame and Mensa and Bobs your uncle!MAKE CERTAIN you get there CORRECT office when dealing with Advanced Derm....gotta be Dr. Albergo. Anyone else have nerve damage issues after a biopsy here ? Was later told I didn’t need the biopsy from another dermatologist, and now ever since I’ve had the biopsy on my back my nerves have been out of wack, muscles aches, pains and needles, etc.
