Worked last year for a dear friend last year workmanship poor which explains why the porch roof fell in after one year would not allow them to touch my worst friends roof for repair now I know why they don’t advertise to be a member of the better business association they take advantage of the elderly and will not correct the work they did, don’t let their false positive reviews sway u they took advantage of a double amputee and will not come and fix it!

Had them come out on three rental propertys with leaks told they could be patched then the guys come out to do there repair work after paying a large deposit to be told they will not patch the roofs they need new roofs had estimated done the were 30 grand more than the other guys.i would not recommend them peroid

Make certain to get everything in writing.I was misled. I specifically asked about transferring the warranty now come to find out you need to pay to do so, even after paying an additional 340.00 to get the warranty. Very sad they should have been honest!

To say the least my experience with Done Rite Roofing was exceptional! I’ve had my roof for 14 years and decided it was time to replace it. I seen a billboard for DoneRite and was Immediately impressed! I seen that they’ve been in business for over 20 years so I was sold. I got a free estimate the same week I called which was awesome. I was nervous about such a big project but I was reassured that everything would flow smoothly & that I would be more than satisfied and that everything would progress on schedule. I had Done Rite install my roof a few years ago. I recently sold the house and during the buyers home inspection, the inspector came up with a minor issue on the roof (from my standpoint an inspector just coming up with items to justify their bill). Called Done Rites warranty department with my fingers crossed they could have someone come out quickly so as tor not delay the closing. Wow! Spoke to Carolyn Diaz in the warranty department and she was outstanding. Had someone there two hours later and everything was addressed in a single call. Thanks Carolyn for being so responsive!

We contracted these guys to replace two roofs on our property about 8 years ago. Now every outside corner of our house is rotting. Rather than correctly forming the drip rail to be watertight they merely snipped the outside edge of the rail and folded it. That left a large, obvious hole open for rain to get in. They had to see this as they did the work but didnt care. Several areas of the roof the shingles are cut too short to even make the edge of the roof. The drop rail serves as part of the roof surface. Now EVERY outside corner of my house is rotten.There are too many other roofing contractors for you to risk using these guys. Theyll low ball the job then screw you for paying them too little even though they set the price. I wish I could post pictures here. Youd be shocked !!

Tom was rude, didnt return my calls and after quoting a price, then doubled that number in an email. I tried calling the office and the secretary was snippy.. Very poor customer service, I was disappointed to say the least.

This company should be very proud of both Greg R. who did our repair estimate, and Colleen who handled the office relationship. Another popular roofing company told me I needed to do the entire roof. Greg was honest with me, answered all my questions and said I could get more years out of the roof and explained why. For someone like me, it’s important to hear those things because it helps me feel good about making a decision. What I also liked was how Greg stayed in touch with me even after the initial estimate when I had a question even though I doubt that’s part of his normal role after the initial survey. That’s the kind of person you want working for your company... one who truly buys in to the concept of trying to build a strong relationship with the customer. That type of treatment drives customers to tell other potential customers!Colleen in the Repair office couldn’t possibly have been any nicer or more responsive. I had some questions about why the underlying plywood was not replaced, and she and Greg both sought to make me comfortable that the job was done right. I plan to use Done Rite in a few years when it’s time to replace them full roof... and if I do it’s because of these two people. Thanks again for working with me the way you did. :-)

These folks know what theyre doing. They showed me step-by-step photos of the work theyd done, and it was brilliant. You cant even tell which part of my roof was repaired! How awesome is that?! (And I thought the price was absolutely fair.)

Everything went smoothly with Done Rite from start to finish. It rained daily during installation but the guys worked diligently before mother nature started throwing it down. They arrived by 8am and worked until the sky opened up so they had to be conscientious about leaving the roof in a bare state that could withstand the pouring rain.Waiting on inspection but all seems well.Looked this morning and everything was cleaned up nicely and completely spotless around the perimeter and entire yard and driveway work areas.

We used them in the summer as we had two leaks in our roof. Unfortunately they did not fix either one of them and we had to get another company in who did fix both leaks. Done Rite initially sent us a roofer who sat in his van the 4 hours he was here apart from 20 mins when he was on the roof, unfortunately they sent him to us the second time where he proceeded to stay outside for 2 hours until we called the company to ask them to remove him. They sent another roofer who did work really hard but said he had fixed one leak and couldnt fix the other. However both leaks were not fixed so we had to go with someone else who did fix them first time. The ladies on the phone were really helpful and friendly. I would not use Done Rite again.

I had 4-5 roofing companies come out to give me an estimate on a relatively small job. The team at Done Rite were able to get out and give me an estimate quickly and subsequently schedule the work in a timely manner.They arrived as scheduled, quickly completed the work and cleaned up everything and made sure not to damage any of the plants. Wow what a great roofing company! A roofing company that actually answers the phone and call to remind you of your appointment, gave you some great ideas on design of roof and materials to use that suited around your budget. Very Professional throughout the planning process of the roof project. It’s very rare nowadays to find a company like them. They were also very responsive, prompt, quick & the workmanship was very good, and their follow through to make sure I was happy. Ill definitely recommend them if there is someone looking for a professional roof contractor that will install a roof for them.

When our patio flat roof started to leak I called several roofers and because of their reviews we asked Done Rite Roofing to give us an estimate. The estimator came out, looked at the job and told me, all their work comes with a 10 year guarantee. The estimate they gave us was about the same as others, and on the estimate it said, “All labor guaranteed for 10 years.” Based on the 10 year guarantee we went with Done Rite, BIG MISTAKE. Peter came out to do the flat roof on our patio. After the job, I was surprised at the poor quality of work done at the tie-end. (see photo) I sent the photo to the Done Rite Office and they agreed that it was below their standards. They sent Peter back out, and Peter asked what I wanted him to do? I told Peter, I am no roofer, but that is not going to keep water out. Peter said I know it looks bad, but it’ll work and will still be covered by the warranty. I asked Peter if he was proud of the job he did, he said, “I know it looks bad, but it will work.” The picture is exactly as Peter left it.Three months later we start having a water leak inside the house in the dining room right below the tie-end. I called Done Rite on Friday, Saturday, and Monday with no call back. I sent an email and on Tuesday and got a call back. The message from Caroline said the existing shingles are too old and they can’t cover the tie-end under warranty. I was shocked. Why did everyone who came to my house, who looked at the roof, the estimator, and the roofer all tell me I’d have a 10 guarantee? Peter specifically said the tie-end would be covered and now Caroline says I have no warranty.Bottom line, we paid Done Rite $1700 to move the water leak from our outside patio into our dining room. Done Rite may have been a good roofing company in the past but now I question their integrity.UPDATE: The response from the owner is a joke. It was not last year, it was this year, May 2019. They said ALL their work had a 10 year warranty. When the estimator came out the first time we talked about my old roof, he did recommend a replacement, as any good estimator would, but he agreed with me that I had a few more years left in it and said nothing about not warranting the tie-end to my existing roof. He said the only thing I will notice is a difference in color between the new shingles and the existing shingles. He said nothing about a possible water leak inside my house. The owner lied when they say they honor and back their warranties they have done nothing to correct the water leak they caused but gave me an estimate to replace my entire roof.They did the flat roof correctly but the tie-end to my existing roof was part of the job and was poorly done. When you lift up old shingle you break the tar seal and must re-tar the shingles to create a new seal, they didnt do that.

I own a rental property in the Palm Harbor area. It had an aging roof, something that my tenants told me about on several occasions. I always want to do right by my tenants, so I did the research to find a good company that could replace my roof for a reasonable price. I called several and didnt get the best impression. Then I called Done Rite and took the bait.The initial consultation was telephonic. I found them to be professional and interested in hearing as much as I could tell them about what was going on. They asked targeted questions to make sure that they would be speaking to the right issue. Afterward, they told me that it was likely that my roof would need replacing but that an onsite inspection would be necessary to confirm it. We scheduled the appointment.They came out a few days later at the time that we agreed and started the inspection process. The specialist was professional, well-groomed, and very respectful of our house. If he made a mess, he promptly cleaned it. After he was done, he confirmed that the roof needed replacing. He then quoted me a price that was, shockingly, $500 lower than another company I was considering going with. I agreed, and a few days later, they started the process.The actual roof replacement went off without a hitch. What I liked is that they did it as respectfully as they could of my tenants. There was obviously going to be some noise, but they minimized it--at least, thats what my tenants said.Its been several months now, and the roof is still looking good. My tenants are happy, which means I am happy. I got a great deal and got to work with a professional company that seemed like they cared. Id definitely recommend them if youre wanting a great price and professional employees.

So we needed to replace our 30 year old roof because our insurance company was not going to renew us. Ill deal with them later. We called 4 companys that all came out to provide us written estimates. All were very close and reasonable in price. We ended up going with Done Rite Roofing because we had seen them on our street before. They completed the job in 2 days and from what I can see, they did a fantastic job. Clean up was great and they provide us with a wind mitigation report that will end up lowering our insurance cost, now i can play hard ball with them too. They better lower my rates or we will shop for insurance will another carrier! So in the end, our roofing company did exactly what they said they would do, do it done rite!

The overall experience was excellent, would refer the company to anyone. Their product of adding insulation to attic while the roof is exposed, excellent idea and product. Used only top quality material both on roof and attic.

Probably one of the rudest responses Ive had when wanting to give business to someone. Called for an estimate yesterday around noon and left message, no call back, called again around 4:30 but they close at 4pm. Got a call back next morning but they apparently wont come to Lutz which is only about 40 minutes away from Palm Harbor. Mentioned that Ive seen their trucks around but Nina basically said must have been when we werent that busy and hung up. Pretty disappointed considering the good reviews they have. So I guess if you dont live in Palm Harbor then dont call this company.

Done Rite roofing does it RIGHT. We not only have their roof that they did along with the chimney work they did, but they also guarantee their work. They were very responsive when we called them after the hurricane after we found that there was a slight leak coming from the roof/chimney. They had their people come out several times to assess the issue and to fix it QUICKLY. We definitely appreciate their work and their warranty is best in the industry. This is a family run business and we definitely would use them again in the future. Done Rite has always been my personal best at fixing roofing and insulation. They do a wonderful job and they do it exactly right just as the company says. I recommend this to everyone, especially for insulation. The workers are professional contractors who are all experienced and polite, they also know what they are doing. Done Rite Roofing has performed multiple roofing jobs for us - shingle, metal and torch down. Each job has been completed in a timely manner, the workmanship has been excellent and the job site has been left clean. I had a roof leak at my skylight. I called Done Rite Roofing and they came out right away. They explained to me that my my plastic skylight was very old and needded replacing. They quoted me a great price for a new glass skylight., they came back on schedule and my new skylight looks great. I had this work done about 6 months ago and it never really rained again until now. THERE ARE NO LEAKS!!! Great job guys!!!
