Would not recommend this shop. The owner is very unprofessional. There are many other shop owners that would be thankful to have your business. Just look at the reviews for this shop compared to other shops. Definately do your research.

Jeff Hoots has been our boat mechanic for several years now and has always done a great job and communicated throughout the process. They do great work and even clean up after they are through. I wont be taking my boat anywhere else and will refer anyone who asks to Hoots marine.

Jeff is honest and a great boat mechanic! He gives you peace of mind that your boat is fixed properly. I wouldnt trust my boat to anyone else. He is a gentleman and easy to talk to. He will always have my business.

We have a 2006 Renegade with a mercury motor on it!! We have had some problems with it both big and small and Jeff with Hoots Marine center is unbelievable with his knowledge and skills of these motors!!! The experiences we have had was way better than five stars!!! Hoots is a ten star boat servicing company! Keep up the amazing service you guys are providing!!!!! We will be Hoots customers for LIFE!!!

Sorry i even have to give a star. hoots marine was to do a job on my boat i paid him for bottom end work and he called and said the issue was fixed. well it wasnt, my boat is still giving me the same issue it was when i brought it to him. i should have just brought it to the monkey farm up the street they would have done a better job. do yourself a favor stay away from hoots.

I only let Jeff work on my boats. I have known him for more than 30 years. He is a great mechanic and a man of his word.

Great mechanic, plain and simple. Jeff has been doing tuneups and repairs on my boat for 3 years without a single issue. I have never once had to use my Sea Tow membership.For all of you seeing the 1 star reviews, dont believe them. Its an obvious smear campaign by an internet troll and his/her buddies. I guarantee AT most one of them owns a boat. The rest are lackeys brought in for a smear campaign. A bunch of 1-star reviews in the last 12 hours. Seriously?

Jeff Hoot is the only person we trust to work on our boat. He has worked on our boats for many years. He’s very trust worthy and honest in everything he does.

Jeff has keep us on the water for years . His knowledge of engines, as well as electrics and hydraulics is outstanding. Honest and trustworthy.Always my first call .

Jeff hoots will take your money say he fixed your boat but never touched it. He is not a honest person or should he even be in business after reading he’s reviews I saw that I’m not the only one he ripped off. DO NOT LET JEED HOOTS TOUCH YOUR BOAT!!! And do not pay him till it’s complete and water trial if you do decide to use him

Jeff hoots is a crook and doesn’t know what he doing when it comes to fixing boats he charged me $480 bucks to grease my lower unit grease fitting I wouldn’t bring him my lawn mower to fix

Hoots quoted me one thing and I came to drop my boat off and he said he refused to work on my boat unless i signed the agreement for a higher price then we agreed on the phone. HES NOT A MAN OF HIS WORD... not to be trusted. Go elsewhere.
