My daughter is in an upcoming wedding and no one in my area was available to get her measurements. But the bride contacted Georgettes and they did it for her free of charge. Both ladies were beyond sweet. This place is highly recommended!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would, this place does the alteration wrong and when you go to them to show them and try to fix the issue they say unless you pay more they wont fix it. So you dont want to fix issue and keep you clients happy. What kind of service is that.

This place is amazing! Awesome work, I get all my pants tailored. She has done the best job out of anyone I have ever had alter my clothes. There was one pair I couldn’t have altered there due to time constraints. They were messed up when I went to pick my other pair of pants up she did alter she fixed them in 10 min for me while I waited! She told me that one was on the house, an amazing gesture! She didn’t know it was my birthday, so thank you so much for the birthday gift! 10/10 would highly highly recommend

They hemmed a gown for my sons wedding and it was quite revealing but she added lace from the hem to the neckline and it came out great!! I will definitely go back for any alterations!

She gave me good advice at the fitting and promised to have them ready today so I would have them to take on an extended trip. I will not be returning here for alterations. The first time I came in I was having a bridesmaid dress altered. To my disappointment they took too much in, that I couldn’t even zip the dress up. They had to correct their mistake and I didn’t even receive an apology. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and I returned recently to have a pair of jeans hemmed. Again to my disappointment they didn’t shorten the pants to the length that I wanted. When I showed the seamstress how much I wanted hemmed, she said I should take a little less since they may shrink. I told her I don’t dry my jeans in the dryer so it will be fine. I tried the jeans on today and to my surprise she didn’t take the length I wanted and left them a little longer. Regardless of what the seamstress may think, you should do as the customer asks. I also paid $15 to have less than an inch hemmed which I feel is over priced for such little work. Very disappointed.

Margaret altered my wedding dress and had to take out an entire dress size, but it looks fantastic! Shes so sweet and accommodated my crazy schedule. She knows exactly what shes doing and I trusted her completely. I highly recommend!

In the two alterations we gave two her, she did the perfect job. I mean, really perfect. The dresses came out with perfect fit after alteration. Also she brought out new look to the dresses. We also liked the store as such. Its a very nice place as well. We loved the way the whole store is beautifully setup.

I went here to get my daughters wedding dress altered. She is amazing! Her pricing was the lowest we had found (My daughter was a bride on a budget) and the quality of alterations she did to the dress were truly fantastic. She let us come in a little before closing and closed the store to ensure that we would not be interrupted. In addition, she listened to everything my daughter asked and gave her everything she wanted for an EXTREMELY reasonable price. Plus, she was incredibly sweet and professional. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs alterations done on any type of clothing. My daughter was thrilled with her gown.

There are only three reviews on yelp so I figured Ill try this place out. I am new to the Florida area. My family and I just relocated here from Chicago. I stopped at Georgettes to tailor a suit. I will preface this review as such.. I knew that the pants were really big and that it would be an expensive job. I have no desire to ever wear this suit again. It is for a wedding that I am standing up in.I attempted to tell the owner that I never plan on wearing this suit again and that I just need something to tide me over for the night of the wedding. She seamed as if she didnt want to help me. The owners negative demeanor and tone was appalling. She said shes been in business long enough to know when to walk away and no matter what I said she knew Id complain because the pants would never fit right. I told her again I didnt care and she flat out told me no, its not worth the time.First off, money is not an issue for me. I need to get this suit fixed to last me one night only. It is ugly and will be given to goodwill after the wedding.Second, I wear suits 5-6 days a week. I have a closet full of 15-20 suits at any given time. I purchase on average 4-5 suits a year. Being that I am new to the area, I figured great; this place is close! I can bring suits that I purchase and that fit me properly to get tailored. NOPE. I can assure you that I will NOT be taking anything to place.

I had an amazing experience. I went to Georgettes for my wedding gown alterations. She had me come in when the shop was closed so we would not be disturbed and she really took her time. She also altered my moms dress and two of my bridesmaids dresses. One of my bridesmaids needed last minute (the day before the wedding) alterations and she fit us in and had it done the same day, no extra charge! Her prices are fair and the quality is great. I am so happy I found her.

I was a little apprehensive when I had to have 2 new dresses altered because I had received less than quality results at a shop in Tarpon Springs on a previous dress. I had them altered at Georgettes and am 100% satisfied. From the moment I walked in the shop to completion, my experience was nothing short of fabulous. She listened to my thoughts and what I was looking for and was very kind and professional. The dresses fit like a glove. Going forward I will only use Georgettes for all my alteration needs.

I had just been soundly insulted by another local tailor for wanting to replace a zipper on an old, inexpensive jacket. Hating to give up, I brought it to Georgettes as a last resort.The owner, Ms. Smith, took great pains to help, no questions asked, without even knowing the family history behind that old hoodie. She was genuinely kind but tenacious, refusing to give up until that irreplaceable jacket was perfect, wearable once more by a very grateful sister.Rest assured, I will bring my alteration business nowhere else but Georgettes.

Dont ever waste ur time or money .... so rude and charged me over than 300$ to customize detachable skirt for my wedding dress.. that end up nothing compare to the pic... left her shop with nothing to wear for my wedding and filling cliam in business bureau to refund my money... went to ruth tailor and she did amazing job and she actually suggested style to match me ... georgette is a waste of time n money be adviced

They told us to pick up our military clothing today at a certain time. When we went to go pick it up they had already closed. Why would you tell us what time to pick up our clothes if you are going close.
